[Jaku] We were reaching the rendezvous point, Narchean and Buvin were sure to already be there, waiting for us. "ETA is five minutes," I spoke into the radio calmly. "What happened on your side, anything of interest?" There was, of course, about a minute of silence before Buvin picked up, "Hmm… did you say something?" he asked casually.

"ETA, five minutes" I sighed quietly, looking down at the control console. I shifted down a gear (yes there are still gears, its an old ship), and slowed down slightly for control.

"There you are!" Buvin's lazy voice came through the radio in a tone that suggested he had been waiting a while (stupid Buvin), "Let's hurry up and get back to the ship now." Swinging the end of our sh.i.p.s around we floored it. "Whaaah?!," a quiet and distressed voice came from the back of the ship, ignoring it, I kept on full throttle determined to beat Buvin back. Reaching relatively slow speed of just under mach one, I shot straight up towards the hull of the ship slowing suddenly as we came to the hangar. <Clunk!> "Owww," I heard Delano say from the back.

Now stopped, I walked back to the cargo/cabin area to see Delano curled up in his seat clutching his head, and the lady we just picked up (Veleda) with a hand over her mouth trying not to laugh. I could tell she would be a great addition to the gray surge, that is of course assuming she would cooperate. It was an odd stroke of luck that everyone so far had been good and cooperative. "Let's go guys," I motioned for them to follow. Narchean and Buvin were waiting outside our ship. "Dammit," I cursed under my breath, "How did they get here first?"

"No cursing in front of the children now Jaku," Narchean teased. "Narchean," I said, "Could you show the new lady uhh…" I had forgotten her name."Veleda," she filled in sheepishly. "Ah yes, could you show Veleda around? I have some things to talk to Delano about."

After they had gone I turned to Dellano, "I know it might be acceptable in the red surge, but here you can't look at women like that. You should be better than that, and if you like her then just tell her, even though you just met. Now help me bring these materials we collected from the gravity generators down to my workshop."
