Veronica: CEO's Underworld Queen

'It seems like I've been turning dull and gray that my own subordinate was brave enough to dictate me of what I am supposed to do?'

Zero instantly knelt on the floor and bowed on it. 'Punished me however you see it fit, my lady. This subordinate is very wrong.'

Veronica was no longer surprised by Zero's utmost loyalty. In fact, she knew too well of the extent of his loyalty that she can even rely her life on him. Inspite of the hierarchichal relationship between them, she considered Zero as her younger brother, actually almost a son, if not for the fact that she's only 5 years older than him. She found him extremely adorable everytime she praised him of a job well done and the look in his eyes reminds her of a dog wagging his tail for his owner. After all, Zero never experienced any motherly love and her being a mother to her twins, her maternal instinct kicked in everytime she's around with Zero and him displaying his imaginary dog ears and tail. She can't tell anyone and absolutely not Zero that what forced her to saved him from a sure death 3 years ago was her sudden maternal instinct after seeing the innocent glow in his eyes like that of a child waiting for a wished to be granted, and his was death. 

'Zero,' Veronica squatted  in front of him and ruffled his hair, 'after you stabilize everything with our force, use all the resources available to look for your origin.'

'Lady?'

'I know that you also suspected that your a people of Country P. I do suspect as well if we are to consider your feature.'

'I do not wished to find my origin Lady. Just to be beside you and protect you is my ultimate mission in life.'

'It's a tasked. And be sure to do all things necessary. If I ever found out that you do not take it seriously, when I am to return back to Country R, I will leave you here and would never allow your entry back as long you do not find your origin.'

'But lad-'

'Is that clear?' Veronica said sternly.

'Yes lady.' Zero was hesitant but has to do so because that's what his lady's tasked him for.

'Now call Siete and Nueve.'

'Lady?'

'Ugh too much curiousity Zero. Didn't you advised earlier that you think it'll be best for me to have someone around?'

Zero was delighted and his eyes glowed. Veronica took great amount of self control not to pinched Zero's nose. Oh goodness, she can clearly see Zero's  ears and tail wagging at her.
