Veronica: CEO's Underworld Queen

After the call, Secretary Ryan turned his attention to the walking killing machine right hand of the lady boss, Zero, "The encrypted instruction will be sent in this phone."

Zero nodded his head in acknowledgement but didn't bother to uttered any words.

Later that night, Zero entered the underground locked up cell of Spartan Headquarters. Every men knew he was from another force but since he was granted permission to freely roam the Spartan Headquarter, no one bothered him. After getting out of the elevator, he walk and soon reached the lock-up cells.

With sure destination, Zero kept walking and soon, stopped on the last lock up cell on the right. Looking inside, he saw a lone man slumping at a corner of the cell. Sensing a presence, Donny Cang raised his head to looked up outside. After gazing at the man outside, Donny Cang's eyes protruded in shock! "You!" He slowly stood up and approached the metal partition. He's intently gazing back at Zero.

Donny Yang is a proud and ambitious man. The reason why even if he knew the situation he and his family was in, he still hold that calm disposition. "Who are you? What's your name?!" Donny Cang asked in continuation. The hopeful glint in his eyes is obvious. However after sometime of not receiving any response, Donny Yang frowned. "Boy, what's your name?"

Still no response and with expressionless face, Zero took a step to walk away. Seeing his intention, Donny Yang held a hand out to grasp him on his left arm. Zero paused. "Wait, who are you."

Zero rather walked away with force making Donny Cang let go of his hold since the man is very strong. Hopeless, Donny Cang shouted, "Boy, I think you're not aware of your origin! We're probably related! In fact,"

"You're my s.p.e.r.m donor." Zero said calmly and continue walking away not even bothering to listen to Donny Cang's pleading for help.

Unfortunately for Donny Cang, the young man he thought who could save him is someone whose heart is as hard as a diamond from the years fighting on that death or alive arena. If not for Veronica, Zero could have already lost his emotions totally. Visiting the man who, in natural set up could be called as his "father", Zero confirmed one thing, he felt nothing for the man. None at all.

After getting off of the elevator, Zero saw Secretary Ryan already waiting outside. "He's your father." Secretary Ryan said.

"Just a man who happened to donate his s.p.e.r.m for my existence."

Secretary Ryan nodded his head. Surprised that Zero actually responds to him. "Are you going to plead for him."

"My loyalty is to my Lady." Zero replied firmly and walk away. Since everything is settled in Spartan Force, he decided to return to Baelforce to prepare for Pyotr's capture.

However, half an hour later, his car is parked outside the gate of a residential building, the name Hope Residence at the topmost part of the gate. He stayed inside for a little while, his eyes never leaving the building. Some time later, he started the engine of his car but stopped when he saw a familiar figure of a middle aged woman. Dress in an old yet neat white tee-shirt and black pants, the woman looked exhausted trudging her way inside the gate, not aware of the gaze from Zero inside his car. After the woman got inside and left Zero's eyesight, he once again started his car to return to Baelforce Headquarter.

Back in Country R, Uncle Bien's situation fortunately turned for the better and he's stable now. He awakened around midnight and Celerina and the Wang brothers were there the whole time.

Veronica who was worried for her uncle and at the sane time reluctant to even leave the twins in the castle decided to just stay with them since her mother and siblings were there. She would only constantly call for an update and after hearing the good news that Uncle Bien finally woke up and is stable, she heave a sigh of relief.

"We will visit him tomorrow. Don't worry." Rawlf told her as he embraced her from behind.

"I am still feeling insecure regarding our children's safety. I know that I'm just being paranoid but I couldn't help it. Let's bring them with us. I don't want to lose any of them from my sight."

Rawlf kissed the woman on her right shoulder gently. His eyes softened. From what almost happened to her when she was seven months pregnant with them, Rawlf could understand where's she's coming from. Veronica isn't paranoid. Her anxiety is justified. He couldn't be even more proud that despite what happened to her, she chose to be stronger in order to protect their children. "I understand my love. I understand. I will follow everything you decide regarding our cubs."

Veronica heave another sigh of relief. The man just don't know how much thankful and love she is of him. Being understood and doted wholeheartedly, she knew, she also love him unconditionally. She turned around and hug him back. Her lean yet soft arms tightened around his waist. "Thank you. I love you."

"My whole being is yours. I love you with my whole heart and life."

Veronica giggled. "You are so competitive!" She pouted.

"At least your mood becomes better."

Veronica tiptoed and kiss him softly on the lips. Rawlf on the other hand knowing her intention in the first place, tightened his hold of her to deepened the kiss. They separated after quite some time.

"Let's go sleep now. You need to rest." Rawlf softly said as he rubbed her back.

"Carry me." Veronica acted spoilt.

Rawlf chuckled yet picked her up from the sofa in a bridal way and carry the woman upstairs back to their room. The twins were already sound asleep in their bed when they got inside. The couple's faces softened seeing their milky and adorable sleeping face. Veronica gently sat beside Baelfair, kissed each of the twin's forehead softly before laying. Rawlf did the same. "Good night my love." Rawlf said, his eyes towards Veronica.

"Night." Veronica responds in her drowsy voice. Quite some time, Veronica's steady breath joined their children, signifying she entered dreamland. Rawlf on the other hand wanted to get up to give Secretary Ryan a call however, when he glance at his family, he felt that the matter could wait. He definitely enjoys watching them sleeping beside him, Rawlf felt an extreme kind of satisfaction and happiness beyond compare. His eyes then focused on Veronica, "I love you so much my love." He thought.
