Veronica: CEO's Underworld Queen

Veronica woke up with a heavy body later that day. When Rawlf had his enough share of passion earlier, he finally let her go to sleep around 4 AM.

When Veronica checked her phone, it's already 11 AM and so far, she hasn't receive a message from Bael Force which means, things could have been stabilize now. She decided to take a bath and get ready to visit the HQ afterwards. She had been deciding to meet with her friends in Country P. Only that she needs to be extra careful so as not to raise any suspicion from her family's unknown enemies lurking in the shadow so as not to endagered her, but her friends as well.

Oh how much had she missed those people who were with her even all through out the fall of her family from grace. And that's one thing she's grateful about.

Floyd, Gedmaire and Pearl were lawyers now and are highly sought after in the Country. Yvette who also took and finished law end up entering politics and is currently the Governor in C Province. Rose end up establishing her own company and in fact, has been consistently growing through the years. Paola lived a secluded life owning an IT Firm. And Martha turned up to be rather a vagabond and had been traveling around the world now. In summary, her friends all end up pretty good in lives and in careers. While she on the other hand, bore out her twins and is now an entity of the underworld.

Something she never expected or dreamed of. Veronica used to dreamed about pursuing law after her Bachelor's Degree but guess, life really threw her a good joke. She dreamed to be a bearer of justice and here she is, someone who turned out to be a nemesis of the justice system instead. 'Oh well'. Veronica sighed.

Veronica must a admit that Country P looks peaceful on the surfaced and she for one understood quite well it's because of Rawlf Sy's control. 'Seems like Mr. Beast is good at playing Leviathan huh'. Veronica murmured. But she, as another creature from the Underworld understood and was exposed of the dirty laundry happening at the buttom of that peaceful surface. This flow of thoughts led her to realized Rawlf Sy could have of course, has connection with the Underworld. This made her fell from another series of deep thoughts.

'President, these are the information we gathered from the growing force which I primarily thought could have a relationship with the Lady Boss. But my assumption was proven wrong by those files as the leader of the force stepped forward to talk to Dmitri's men last night. On page twenty-three you will that difference between the materials that the Spartan Force deals with compared with it. While the Spartans deals with almost anything in the underworld, the B Force only deals with weaponry and gold, I also managed find out that their gold reserved is enough to established a country.' Secretary Ryan explained in length.

'Anything about it's relationship with Veronica?' Rawlf asked.

' Not at all President. Maybe I over assumed things. It could have only been coincidental. After all, even before the Lady Boss appeared for the first time, the force had been in the country for half a year now.'

'Hmm, that's the factual reasoning. But what about your instinct Secretary Ryan?' Rawlf tested.

'If I am to to be truthfull President, I'd say that things are not as simple as they are.'

Rawlf smirked. Right. Things are never that simple, much if involved anything related to the Underworld.

It's not because he's doubting Veronica for anything. Rawlf honestly don't care if she's a member of that small force or of any force in the underworld, after all, her sudden disappeance five years ago and her sudden appearance four years later without enough track to follow is already suspicious enough. And he can't simply just ask her about it as he still was trying to establish a connection between them. And he doesn't want to scare or make her wary of him.

Rawlf's primary reason of investigating things related and possibly are to her was solely for the purpose of understanding and learning more of it so he could truly protect her,this time around.

The thought of his little enchantress lightened his heavy mood. He couldn't wait to see her tonight. He made sure to leave her with ten bodyguards to follow her around earlier so that to assure himself that he won't lose her again. And so far, none of those bodyguards contacted him for anything wrong. His little enchantress must have been an obedient kitty the whole day. Maybe he'll have to buy her a diamond watch later as a gift.

After noting his plans to Secretary Ryan, Rawlf continued with his files waiting for a thorough review.
