Veronica: CEO's Underworld Queen

Everything went back to usual the day after Rawlf's scheduled lazy day. Rawlf gets back on his office, Veronica on the other hand had the chance to visit the Bael HQ and in the afternoon, and afterwards, with the staff sent by Rose, had toured the prospect building for her new business.

Establishing business in Country P was never part of Veronica's plan but seeing first hand the fast development and progress in City I, she decided to test the water in the field related with her passion, and at the same time, where she could gain profit from.

Another thing that had influenced her on this venture is the fact that her staying..... even if not for good and not for sure, in City I, would be inevitable much that she started an affair with Rawlf. Anway, she has more than enough power and resources to do so, so why not take the chance.

Seeing as the building is to her satisfaction, Veronica then told, Rose's staff, that she will buy it. The staff gladly take it as her responsibility to process everything knowing the fact that the foreign woman she was dealing with was a close friend of their President Co of Co-Yap Corporation. Although the staff was curious of the red haired woman who really looked like a foreigner but can speak Country P's language fluently like a native, she kept it to herself. After all, she's just a staff from Co-Yap Corporation and the woman despite being polite still exudes this intimidating aura making it hard for her to ask the latter.

Veronica on the other hand wasn't ignorant by the staff's curious glances but she just let her be. At the end of the day, both are strangers with each other and her personal life is not for everyone's ears. Aside from the fact that ever since then, Veronica was a private person.

Veronica doesn't need to personally tour the building because she can always pull out one or more subordinates from Bael Force but since she felt the need to check if the location has more advantages, at least, for the first stage, she did. And since everything with the procesess of building ownership was to handled by Rose's staff, all Veronica needs to do now is to passed it to someone from Bael good at entrepreneur while she would just chill around and would only provide money and resources if needed. After all, she was planning two business establishments, a coffee house as the fasçade and the multicorporation law firm as her stepping stone to enter the corporate world in Country P.

A sharp look appeared on Veronica's eyes as she slowly laid out her plan. Her father, Eddie Wang was still undergoing therapy after his heart attack five years ago and although thankfully had been fast with his recovery, Veronica can't simply forget and forgive much that if her twins' zygotes were any weaker, they might not have survived the accident she had.

If it was the same Veronica from the past, she would heaved a sigh of relief knowing that the Yan family who caused her family's demised was also destroyed right after her family's sudden disappearance but Veronica had gained information from her years in the underworld that things are not just what they are in the surfaced. And it won't take long for a foe to know about her return in City I. Although Veronica was still at loss as to why she was almost killed, her father's clean political reputation destroyed and instantly force her family's exile.

Meanwhile, in City M, Country P's Capital City.

'So that woman came back?' The man around 60 asked with evil intent contrary to his dignified and respectable appearance. He was sitting behind a long table while looking at another respectable beautiful young woman elegantly seated at one of the office's luxurious sala set. She was wearing a

white channel sleek long sleeve, beige versace fitted slack and a thin high heeled black shoes screaming louboutin as its brand.

The woman settled first her tea cup at the antique table then gently tapped her mouth with a tissue before answering, 'Yes Dad. I just found it today from City I's Mayor's daughter.'

'Are you threatened by that woman's return?' The man teased his daughter, totally underestimating the woman of their subject.

The woman scoffed in disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. 'Of course not Dad. It's just that... I don't want to take any chances.' The woman replied then take another sip of her tea.

'Very well. It didn't took us much effort to squash and destroy them years ago. That woman coming back all alone after those years would be like dealing with a mosquito... I believe my very capable daughter can handle her on her own?'

'Actually that's what I wanted to ask from you dad. I want to personally deal with her this time....and maybe play with her first as it has been quite boring lately.' A mirthed of evil intent appeared on the young woman's eyes. She held the teacup in front of her father then said, 'Nice tea by the way.'

The father chuckled in return, proud of his daughter's humour.
