Veronica: CEO's Underworld Queen

The trio, Rawlf, Veronica, and madame Vanessa was now at the living area of the mansion and Veronica was still observant of the Sy madame who, to her surprised and confusion, had been nothing but too chummy to her, considering that they just met for the first time.

'My son is nothing but a heartless one Vivi, so I am so happy that I can finally have a future daughter in law who will love me and of courseee, future grandchildren, who I can spoil with love and care.' Vanessa knows she's acting out of character as everyone in the high society knew that she's the ice queen Sy madame but for the sake of her having future grandchildren, she can do anything just to pamper her son's woman. She's not some stupid kind of a future mother in law who would fight her future daughter in law because of prejudice. She trusted her son's choices and decision and eye to distinguished the true character of a person so she is sure that Veronica is worthy to be part of her Sy Family and even the future Madame Sy.

Aside from that, she had her investigated and proved that the scandal from years ago was another scheme to destroy her father's clean political reputation. Or so she thought.

Having a son like hers, who in his thirty two years of existence haven't even introduced any woman to her, Madame Sy is very desperate now to secure her future grandchildren's existence. For the sake and possibility of having future grandchildren, Madame Sy will trample anyone who would dare harm or separate her future daughter in law to her son.

Madame Sy's series of change in her facial expression from a joyful one, to a kind one, to murderous one made Veronica find her.... adorable? She's talking about the ice queen madame of the Sy Clan an her she is, thinking that the scary madame was adorable?! 'How nice of you Veronica.' She thought to herself.

Rawlf's mouth twitched after it dawned on him of what his mother must have been thinking all the while.

On the other hand, Butler Ro who was just observing on the sideline, himself, found the change in his madame expression too not her. He had been a loyal butler to the Sy first family branch matriach and to see his madame in this situation is just so out of this world that Butler Ro could only take a glance at the red haired woman his young master brought earlier with him. He will make sure to be a worthy servant to this woman as there is a high possibility that she will be the next, madame Sy, Butler Ro made a mental note.

Veronica finally warmth up to the madame after sensing the sincerity in her and now both are talking cheerfully about her. Veronica had to of course be carefull not to tell all and hide some information like her uncle, her mother's only older sibling who had saved her family five years ago was another underworld boss, that she is also another underworld boss annd the secret yet with her and Rawlf's children.

The madame had just met her and if she is to know about the children's existence out of a sudden, who knows what the madame's reaction will be. Well, Rawlf hasn't mentioned it yet to her that his mother was one who was actuall desperate of grandchildren as he didn't expect that the meeting between his mother and woman would be this soon. Couldn't help it, his mother had always been..... unpredictable.

While the master and madame of the mansion were talking in the living area, the house maids were gossiping in the cooking are with the chef as they were having their own lunch as well. Rawlf Sy maybe a ruthless and coldblooded CEO but his treatment towards his personal people in his home was somehow kind that the people were loyal to him and also among themselves, were cordial.

'I think she will be the next madame Sy.' One maid said while having a mouthfull of foods.

'She's very beautiful! You should have seen her Chef!' Another maid butted in.

On the other hand, the chef who had been silently listening to the gossiping maids raised his brows. After all, he had know the young master Rawlf when he was a high schooler after he one time discovered his family restaurant while he was having a joyride. The boy was polite despite of his obviously very wealthy and regal aura he emit and after many times of being the only frequent customer in his family restaurant, he one time bid goodbye as he will study abroad but promised him that after he return in the country, he will take him as his own personal chef.

Chef Boris remembered how at that day, Rawlf saved him and his family when they would be homeless. Their restaurant was closed because of the lack of customers and because his wife nagging him that he was being too passionate with cooking yet not passionate enough of earning money. He can't blame his wife though as that was the truth which led them to more debts that even their house was taken away from them. And he have six children to feed, the eldest is fourteen and the youngest was four years old around that time.

If not for young master Rawlf, Chef Boris couldn't just imagine the fate of his family. Now his wife and children were asking him to retire and come home to them but Chef Boris is too happy to serve the young master that his family could only sigh in defeat with his choice. Chef Boris has his day off during the weekend and that is when he would visit his wife, children and grandchildren in their own mansion. After all, his salary as Rawlf's personal chef was comparable to that of a famous and in demand one. Can't be help, the perks of working under Rawlf Sy.

'Got to see for my own self.' Chef Boris shrugged off his shoulder, reserving his judgement for himself.

The gossiping of the maids continue as Chef Boris was already thinking what to prepare for dinner since the madame is also in the mansion.
