Both the twins after sometime became comfortable with the old master Sy. Too comfortable that Baelfair was now seated on the old master's l.a.p while Baelfire was just contentedly seating beside his grandfather asking him questions about the business world which the old master Sy readily and willingly answered. Some informations are even the highly confidential ones which should have remained secret between Rawlf and Robert as those concerned the Sy International yet, the old master Sy was giving it away, in the open, for Baelfire to absorbed.

Baelfair, on one hand, was once again munching on her oatmeal cookie while listening rather too intently with her grandfather's words. This do not escape Rawlf, Veronica, and even the old master Sy's observation.

The family didn't escape abroad but rather, Eddie Wang's wife seek for the advance medical treatment for her husband. The old master Sy only has those information because his men told him that after the family went abroad, they seemed to have vanished just like a smoke.

This made the old master Sy very curious and was determined to know the truth from this future daughter in law. 'When will your parents returned home for the marriage?'

Veronica suddenly coughed and Rawlf helped her by rubbing on her back.

'Veronica and I has a lot of things to do first father. But once everything is settled, we'll have the marriage.'

The old master Sy remained silent. But after a while, asked once again. 'Then, when are they returning back in the country?'

'My parents decided to settle in Country R for good, uncle. My father was still undergoing his rehabilitation and traveling is not yet fit for him.' Veronica replied with sincerity.

Veronica's answer confirmed the information which the old master Sy's men gathered. So Eddie Wang was indeed abroad to recuperate. And now, it seemed, they decided to leave everything in Country P and rather chose to settle in Country R in peace.

'Your father has a relative in Country R?'

'Rather my mother's brother.'

Another information has been confirmed. Thought the old master Sy. This future daughter in law's maternal descend was from Country R. That explains the unique not only of this future daughter in law and grandchildren.

Contrary the other conventional Country P high society who looked down upon the mixed raced, the old master Sy do not mind this factor at all as he himself, is libertarian and modern.

'What's your uncle's work in Country R?'

'Father, that's not important for now. You can ask Veronica about that next time.' Rawlf butted in, couldn't take ot anymore as to how his father probed his woman in front of him. This is what he finds unacceptable and decided to intervene finally. However, Veronica touched his arms as if telling him it's okey. Rawlf took her hands in his and looked at her. Seeing the calm look into hers, he sighed to agree with her in silence.

'He work for the government.' Veronica answered and finally look at the old master Sy directly in his eyes as if telling warning him that they're already talking about her family and she won't take any disrespect of any form be directed to any of her family member.

'Interesting.' The old master Sy replied. 'Let's talk the next time if you'll excuse me. I need to give all my attention to my grandchildren.' He said then indeed, started to once gain talked with the twins, totally ignoring the twins parents.

Rawlf's mouth twitched, on the other hand, Veronica just shrugged off her shoulder. After all, they're talking about Robert Sy here. Not just any man it's Robert Sy.

Veronica is not expecting any gush about meeting with the old master Sy just like what she had with the madame Vanessa Sy. After, with or without the gender card, there indeed the difference with how men and women acts a reacts over a situation.

As long as the old master Sy is civil towards her, is treating her children properly and does negatively talk about her family, then Veronica would treat the old master Sy with respect.

Veronica's thought regarding the difference between how men and women react to situation is indeed rue with the old master who the entire the thought, 'Why would I still need to please my daughter in law!!? That's my own son's job in the fist place!'
