"This little guy's actually able to learn a skill by itself?" Jaden was taken aback. "But he didn't do anything except doing the same action repeatedly..."

And a thousand times at that!

Good thing that a skeleton undead doesn't have a thing called stamina, after all, such feats could probably only be done by a handful of people across the world.

"Wait...then doesn't that mean that different actions can be rewarded with different skills if repeated enough times?"

'Whoa, what a unique feature!' Jaden couldn't help but praise the creator of Everlasting World once more.

Such a feature of creating skills would definitely be helpful for a martial arts genius such as him.

Looking at Abaddon, Jaden felt the skeleton actually looked cute at this moment, especially those big eye sockets and its moving jaws, looking especially comical.

"Good work." he smiled as he stroked its smooth skull.

He then shifted his attention to a particular system message in front of him.

"Since it's a hidden stat, I won't be able to add stat points on it, how sad." Jaden shook his head. "Otherwise, leveling up skills would've been way easier."

'Hmm, I should find some time and learn [Chop] as well.'

But for now, we level up and make our way towards civilization.

Looking at Abaddon who had its skull tilted, staring at the sword in its hand, Jaden smiled.

"Since you've learned how to attack, now you need to learn how to dodge. Don't even think about blocking an attack from a Skeleton Warrior. One slash from them is enough to kill you." Jaden warned.

Clack clack. Abaddon nodded its head.

'But first, let's fix your free stat points.'

"Okay, since you've trod upon the path of the sword, focusing your stat points will be easier when we reach the higher levels."

"But first, you need to work on your dodging skills," Jaden said while stepping backward. "Do you remember being insta-killed by those puny Skeleton Warriors TWICE?"

Clack Clack!

"Good! Use that anger and train yourself, enough to allow you to dodge their attacks with ease."

Clack!

Jaden nodded his head at Abaddon's enthusiasm.

"Okay, now, attack me with all you've got—"

Before Jaden could even finish his words, the Rusted Claymore that Abaddon wielded suddenly rose.

Ting!

Blue light could be seen condensing on the crude blade as it swung from above.

It was the skill [Chop]!

Whoosh!

The air was sliced as the skill-enhanced sword descended unto Jaden.

Grinning, Jaden sidestepped and punched the skeleton on the face.

Thud!

Blasted a fist on the face, Abaddon was forced to take a few steps back before regaining his stance.

Raising his hand towards the skeleton, Jaden beckoned with his fingers. He smiled. "Remember to avoid my attack."

Clack clack!

Abaddon's maws moved up and down as the two Rusted Claymore clashed against each other.

Clang!

Ignoring the system messages that popped up at the corner of his retina, Jaden gracefully twisted his wrist and sliced at Abaddon's armor horizontally.

[You have dealt 75 damage to the target.]

"Remember. Dodge."

Thud!

[Warning! You have attacked your summon. Damage reduced by 50%.]

[You have dealt 11 damage to the target.]

[...]

And just like that, time passed.

Seconds passed, minutes passed, hours passed.

Jaden didn't hold back on his attacks one bit.

Although he made sure not to kill Abaddon and let his HP increase through resting, his fatal attacks didn't wane.

Actually, they intensified.

Although Abaddon tried to defend, it was all for naught due to the difference in attributes.

After all, Jaden's poured all his stat points into Strength.

One punch of his would send the skeleton tumbling back and one slash of his sword would take a large chunk of Abaddon's health.

However, during this time, Jaden finally realized why Abaddon was deemed by the game's system as a growth-type skeleton.

Meanwhile, at Destiny Group's HQ.

"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Chairman Young was laughing his heart out as he stared at the two figures on the screen.

It was a strange training between a young man and a skeleton.

"Whew...."

Wiping the tears at the corner of his eyes, Chairman Young couldn't help but remember the time when he had trained Jaden, isolated up the mountains.

He remembered the time when he used a wooden sword to force that little brat into tears and snot during his training.

"That brat, he's even using my training method, although he tweaked it a bit." Chairman Young grinned. "If that poor skeleton could produce tears, then it'll probably be wishing it had never been chosen as that brat's summoned skeleton."

He then shook his head. 'Aii, is this the birth of a super undead swordsman?' he thought as he stared at Abaddon on the screen who evaded Jaden's sword and retaliated with a [Chop].

"It'll be fun witnessing both of your growth." he grinned mischievously before switching his attention onto another large screen.

Displayed on that screen was a woman with a heart-stoppingly beautiful face. She wielded a crude iron spear, repeatedly swinging it towards a few low-leveled skeleton monsters.

"Hmm...are they going to meet each other?" he whispered before a smirk crept up his lips.

Two swords clashed.

Clang!

"Phew." Jaden exhaled as he jumped backward. "Okay, that's enough for now."

Clack clack!

Abaddon nodded before adopting a posture and swinging its sword once more.
