WAR OF AGES

- An Hour earlier -

Getting out from his VR pod while putting his VR headset back to its place, he quickly stands up and walks toward his bed and sleeps until 4 am where he later eat breakfast then taking a shower before leaving the apartment where he later saw someone who is sweeping the floor from the leaf the person noticed him walking through him then he lowered his head a bit as Agus also followed and quickly passed the person as he talks a bit before lastly saying goodbye.

leaving for campus Agus walk to his classroom as he listens to the professor and even discussing the solution and it continues until the class ended then he quickly was joined by Adit as they talk about the daily talk and some question and solution mentioned by the professor where he was distanced by other student hoping not being bullied by Melati or Bunga's group fearing something may happen to them.

Even though he didn't get many friends but him talking to Adit is already good enough for him before suddenly a girl's voice was heard echoes throughout the classroom the girl look at the classroom while talking to the people inside it, glancing from the outer student than to the student inside who are still sitting.

"Is Agus here?" said someone by the classroom door.

"Heh?" as the other student turn their heads as they who is currently at the door.

When they already turned their heads and see who it was they were in shock that they quickly turn back and paled as they knew whom it was while the girl ignoring the glance at her as she looks over Agus's classmate one by one but not founding him with the help of his picture by her phone.

She still searching for him from left to right side of the class before finally finding him still talking to his buddy while ignoring her presences which in turn provoked her as furrowed slightly as it appears on her forehead, walking toward the stairway and up passing his classmate on the lower seat of the classroom they sweated glancing over her.

Knowing she would be here for a bit they quickly find an excuse out of the classroom like going for the toilet or finding a drink to while not being suspicious by the other, arriving at Agus is currently seated she stands by Agus's side while giving a pouting face acting like a child while looking at him while Adit who is turning his head to Agus noticed her presence and felt reluctant to continue talking as he staggered not knowing what to do as he was kept by Agus to keep talking with him.

"So how about it, you wanna go for lunch later?" Said Agus ignoring her who is his side.

"Ah, Yeah... Dude a girl is standing beside you shouldn't you greet her" said Adit as he looks from Agus before finally at the girl.

"Hm?" as he was told to look he quickly glanced at the girl.

This encounter elapsed for ten-second knew it would be trouble he turns back and looked back at his friend before opening his mouth.

"Just ignore her, I hardly even knew her," said Agus unsurprised with a tired voice.

"Huh?" said the girl and Adit.

"Agus, don't waste my time you monkey!!! you already knew I would go here to escort you back to Miss Melati so stand up straight, now!!!" shouted the girl as she looks at Agus with an angry face.

"... Well aren't you a loudspeaker?" said Agus as he covers his right ears as he was surprised by her shouting.

Hearing the 'loudspeaker' his classmates were baffled while one person laughs but he quickly stopped when she looked at him and angered by Agus.

"Especially she said I would meet her father at noon, did she suddenly change it? that would be a bad reputation for her as next the heir of the company if she changes it without informing other first" said Agus as he scratches his right ear where the pain still lingers.

"That's... really?" said the girl with a surprised face "I was sure to get you today... I gonna ask Miss Melati, wait here" as she walks out of the classroom.

Agus glancing at the girl's back and leaving the classroom and knowing it would be long enough for him to get away from her, he quickly grabs his bag and quickly walk down of the stairway then walk out of the classroom walking the opposite way of the girl.

The entire student were dumbfounded by his action few of the student who is manga or comic reader noticed more quickly than the other and quickly run out of the classroom quickly, the other not knowing why they left were left speeches before it dawned on them the girl's voice was already loud enough if she were angered and found out he already left she would scream loud enough that they would turn deaf instantly.

The entire student including Adit run quickly to the door but as they ran the other student were blocked from leaving the classroom as they slowly queued to get out and instead they found the girt already standing outside looking at them then they paled instantly.

"Why are you guys here? let me through" said the girl.

Scared the student quickly gave the way while covering her the view directly on Agus's chair as they tried to escape one by one the girl who is ignorantly expecting Agus stayed walk till she manages to look at Agus's seat, the other unlucky student were cringing by the door on the floor as they heard the loud shriek by the girl while holding their ears as the lucky one sigh in relief while their condolences to the unlucky student.

"You!!! Where did Agus go to?' said the girl to the student who is on the floor while covering his ears "... huh? he left but not sure which way" answered the unlucky student.

"... did anyone see where he left to?" said the girl as she shouted.

The student pointed by her shake his or her heads saying they didn't see where did he leave to.

"That jerk, I will get him next time," said the girl as she left in anger.

The student who is unlucky enough to hear her shriek was terrified toward her as they by reflex try to get away from her as they met with her later on not only were they traumatized by it but every time someone shout or loudspeaker were heard by them as they quickly cover their ear or run away from the site which in turn tired them much faster than their normal life.

The name of the girl before is Dayang Sukimin while her nickname is the "Shrieking Banshee" the origin of the nickname appeared when she first come to college and when she was being picked by a group of a young man wanting to get close to her but because she doesn't want unable to hold her anger she shrieked so loud that her voice was beyond a normal human voice.

The group quickly covered their ears as they quickly run away from her as they forever traumatized by her even by her appearing in front of them they rather skipping class not meeting her once even the teacher threatened them if they could not get better grade then they would be put the same class with her which made them study harder than before while hoping not to meet her again.

After the incident, Many rumor talking about her spread wild and wide enough that many students that knew about her description started to get away from here even though they just learn of the rumor this made her felt lonely but that soon change after few week of the incident when Melati the college's famous beauty comes to visit her for the very first time as she was intrigued by her that she even tried to invite her to Melati's popular group is currently being formed.

After accepting the invite instead of being friendly or close to other students in the slightest she was instead bullied thinking she join only because of hoping to get close toward Melati even though it was true but she thought it would stop but was she wrong the bullied continues and each passing day was harsher than before and this escalated even harming her in the process.

Unable to withstand it any longer she shrieked so loud that her rumour returned as the other heard of heard her once more which made the bullies to falls to the ground while covering their ears unable to withstand the pain, they quickly run out of the empty room where they always dragged her into which become the place where they never want to use to meet again with each other as they were still traumatized even to the present day.

Seeing she was useful to get away from the crowd even Melati called her to be her's personal which in turn made her felt happy and giving her a sense of purpose in life during when she is in college, but since few weeks before she was sick thus she never once met Agus as he goes to college for the first time she never once met her face to face.

The reason why Melati want to meet him for the first time is still logical even for her where he manages to beat her in the highest ranking in the national entrance exam score but later on, after that she continued to visit him periodically which become not normal even for her thus she suspected something happens.

Later on, she searched info about him like families and social life but she was in for a shock when she found out he was actually was much worse than her where he was lost his mother while his father disappeared to nowhere but even so he had bit better life than her in term social life and everything.

Felt close to someone like in certain fate intrigue her but not in intimate terms just interested so she has gone to college and goes to his school to find him while at the same time she was called by Melati to escort him but due being excited to meet him, she forgets to ask when she should escort him to her which made him escape unnoticed while believing he would really stay as it never happen with her so she was angry that he runs to her class while venting her anger.

On the other hand, Agus leave for the library where he meets with her again and by her, it's Vicky who is currently sitting at her previous place while not noticing Agus who just entered the library and walking to the chair and table as he pulls out two books from his bag.

When he sat down on the chair he quickly read a book titled "The psychology of the human mind and the means for Harmony" while the other title is "How to have good management in your life" looking at the book by page he learn the content by bit but how he read is a bit too quick as he only need a glance at the content for few second then continue on to the next page as he had bit better photographic memory for it.

With logic and good reasoning, he could answer the question while adding another question with a much easier way of the solution which his professor and the test examiner not only were he was publicly humiliated he was also forced to nod as the reasoning were acceptable thus gave him a better score in the national college entrance exam without a single doubt by the other professor.

Reading the book Agus notices someone was walking from the library door and walking close to Agus and it was none other than Dayang.

"Why you?! I said to you to wait, why did you leave me, huh!? said by Dayang as she looks with an angry face.

"Well? this is a college a place to study not playing around and I don't have much time to idle around with you so I go here," said Agus with a calm but tired face as he looks at her with one-eyed close.

"At the very least, you could tell someone where did you go," said Dayang with expectations.

"Why you?!!!" said Dayang as she was about to shout once more.

"Quite this a library, not a mess hall if I hear loud noises once more I drag you out" shouted the librarian.

Dayang was surprised that he was stunned and stop moving unable to talk or anything.

"Sorry for being loud," said Agus.

"ugh..." as she sits down on the chair in front of Agus.

Wondering while Agus was still reading his book while time to time he glanced at her with a bit of difficulty but he still read the book while on the other hand, Dayang fidgeting how should she proceed next but at the moment she glances at the corner of the books shelves and found someone coming out from and walking close to where Agus and Dayang currently.

"Oh, Agus you're here." said what appears to be a girl's voice.
