WAR OF AGES

As the Day had changed Aurel slowly wakes up from her bed as she changed her cloth then preparing herself for the new day while at the same time Basty who was still asleep taking another minute before he slowly wakes up then walked to the bathroom which located on his room then washed his face before he also quickly changed his cloth as the both of them need to prepare the place to a basic level for the other familiar who is under Agus so they would've called it a home during the time in War of Ages.

As the two were finished they were suddenly being surprised by something that came from far away as they looked carefully at that before finding out it was a group of people which was someone they knew with mixed feeling the two quickly runs towards them not expecting to meet them again in that place.

"Dad!!!" shouted Basty.

"Sis!!!" shouted Aurel.

"Basty comes here you" shouted the old beastman lightly.

"Aurel, big sis is here now," said the rabbit woman.

The two hugged to whom they knew tightly before letting them go then turn their heads trying to peek at the one behind them where they notice they were actually either their cousins, nephew, or even their uncle and aunt also came with them before the two opened their mouth Basty's father opened his first trying to explain it.

"It's all right Basty, we came here because we're worried about you and so are they," said Basty's father while looking at his back "Yeah we also want to see you so badly that we even prostrated to the young master because of it," said the rabbit woman.

"Eh?" said both of them.

"Huh?" said the rabbit woman.

"Don't the two of you knew the young master?" said the old cat man.

Not knowing what to say and what he had done could possibly only make Aurel in much more worst state than he thought more of it before turning silent in the response of what Aurel's older sister just said previously with no any further word coming out from Basty the atmosphere turned tense as all of them suddenly heard a sound of cough near them, Everyone who heard it quickly turned around to the origin of the sound before they were in for surprise when they looked at the source of it as it was none other than Agus and some of the general who is familiar to Aurel and Basty but the other who never seen them could only lower their head in order to show a bit respect towards them.

"Ah, Young master we are honored of your presence with us," said the old cat beastmen.

"... so you already told them of my real age, Jack?" said Agus as he sighs "But it's fine anyway, I wasn't expecting much since you always been truthful of everything even to the smallest detail" as he continues.

"Yes, young master I would be and always will be," said Jack with pride.

"Okay, since everyone is already here... I will start the debrief shortly," said Agus as he looked at his familiar who is waiting for his order.

Agus slowly explained that their task is to gather the nearby material and resources while Aurel and the other non-combatant could stay away from the field of combat while the army and any available combatant prepare and wait for the last battle against the Malacca, Aurel and the other craftsmen are tasked to build and make a new item in order to rearm, rebuild, and resupply the army preparing them for the last final battle against the Malacca as they were being debriefed by Agus suddenly he stopped talking before seeing someone familiar whom both saw each other once more in a new place where to show a bit a smile to make sure she does not get any angrier of being ignored by him.

"Fiery, you're here... is everyone in this place yet?" said Agus.

"By this place, you mean the world Agus? no, not all of us... the rest is still making sure they have everything before moving here" said Fiery with a pouted face.

"Good then..." said Agus returning to others.

"Since everything mostly is done on this house, Basty and Delia can go ahead scout the enemy latest location then report back for further instruction," said Agus while looking at them.

"Am I allowed to defend myself against them? It would be hard to get away from them if I were to be spotted by them" said Basty.

"You can defend yourself, Basty" as Agus sigh.

Hearing it straight from Agus, made Basty jump with joy which caused the other to feel astounded by his action as they never knew him closely while on the other hand those who knew him well let out a little of their smile. The few generals who came with Agus is a bit distrustful of them as they are wary of the Familiar origin before noticing the Familiar has a tail and extra feature on them that made them appear strange as the general looked at them with a bit of curiosity.

"But try not to kill them just yet, make sure to kill those who are still loyal to them," said Agus to make sure Basty don't go overboard.

"Master... eh, Young Master, you know me so well" Said Basty as he laughs.

The general who heard it just went pale hearing it directly from Agus and Basty conversation... the conversation they just heard tell them not to mess around with the beast boy in front of them.

"Ah, yeah when Foxy came to you all... did she gave any task or message to you guys... Jack?" said Agus as he looks at the old beast-man.

"Um, about that... yeah, she did mention something about leaving the kingdom for some weeks" said Jack while crossing his arm and closed his eye thinking.

"Well, she is the most mysterious person from everyone we knew right? said Agus.

"Yeah, she may be one of us and your subordinate master but even so how she does things still terrifies me with the way he does things," said Jack with a bit of pale look.

"Indeed she is... and Ulfa, take care of others for me when you are still here," said Agus as he turns around and started to leave the.

After giving the task to his familiar and finished with everything he needed to finish the war against the kingdom of Malacca as he knew the person who called himself the emperor of Malacca would gather more soldier to continue the invasion against the Majapahit kingdom and he knew they would come with much more number than before and also included him and his elite soldier to finish off Agus and his small army while being garrisoned inside the city wall.

The army he tries to build came in diversity either they are from the deserter, refugee, criminal, former slave, and even a foreigner who has the same goal with the army as they were being trained and standardized into the early version of the foreign legion as it was made with the goal to reduce the number of productive people of his kingdom from joining the fight which reduced the war exhaustion throughout the kingdom exponentially while at the same time reducing any additional manpower from the enemy.

Even though Agus disliked the thought of reinforcement from the capital but due to the chance of the enemy sending massive forces at his current location he sent a letter detailing a request of reinforcement to the frontline from his capital located on the hillside but instead of reply he was later given a report of the noble and their resistant against his order of giving their chain of command to the commoner.

When Agus sent a message to his capital on the hill he was given a report instead of reply to his previous message where the report stated that the noble he previously want the commoner to be given the chance to command the army as they were with the nobles as they were led the troop to the battle, reading the report it was written on he knew there would be a resistant that would happen caused by the noble later on the reason was their right to lead and command the army to be taken from them.

At first the noble persisted tried to fight against him and even the report mentioned the name of the noble who tried to resist back against his order which is one of the noble who wanted to conspire against him but before they had the chances to fight back they were quickly captured and thrown had them thrown to jail stopping the rebellion before it managed to appeared throughout the kingdom engulfing it in massive civil war that would put the kingdom in worst position.

With Foxy's note before she left, Agus had given the note to his trusted general and even prepared the chance of the noble to catch them unprepared as they never once had the eagerness to partake in the campaign which he suspected as a possible traitor within the kingdom later when his campaign succeeded in taking the malacca's land.

Never once the noble thought or even lend their hands to Agus and his men where later weem the general spotted a suspicious figure going in and out of the few of those noble's mansion when the last time the person goes inside the mansion, the general launch the raid on the noble's mansion surprising both the noble and the spy disguising as a merchant where they were arrested then captured before taken to the prison and at the same time soldier who take the bribe silenceing their mouth were also taken in as they allowed the suspicious individul to go as they please while at the same time the soldier were found to carry a lrage bag of gold for themselve which convicted as betrayal against the kingdom as all of them were thrown to the dungeon in order to avoid the other noble attempt to asssinate or to help escape while at the same time the act allows him and his allies tk easily locate and narrow down any other possible traitor attempt to contact the prisoner unless they are experienced killer while they wait for futher order by Agus in order to deal with the captured traitor.

After that report there were added to it that they also had sent reinforcement a second branch reinforcement as Agus requested before he left a specially pre-requested different unit than before where they are armored to teeth while also carrying a several supplies, weapon, and armor for the soldier on the frontline but it would take few days before their arrival bit relieved Agus as slowly stare at the enemy near the other forest opposite to where his Familiar mansion at.

"Well as good thing come to an end, bad things do also come to an end," said Agus as he sighs in relieve reading the letter.

"What do you mean by that, sir?" said one of the general with a bit worry.

"Reinforcement, we got another batch of fresh soldier and supplies enough to finish off the enemy the last army they're going to send at us," said Agus as turns his head.

"That's a piece of good news, we could return home and meet our families after all of this war is done," said the other general.

"Manser go tell the other general of the news and at the same time also tell them of the much bigger enemy force so don't relax just yet until we're killed their the so-called emperor, I need those defenses set up quickly before they arrive or it would be impossible to stall them until reinforcement arrives" said Agus as he gave out the command.

"Yes, My lord right away," answered Manser.

Manser who heard the order quickly lowered his head before he quickly run to the headquarter tent where most of his general currently gathered and discussing about the battle plan leaving Agus and the few generals who are currently with him waiting for his next word, hoping for an order but what cames out from his mouth was something else which made them very surprised and even felt confused in how to talk back to Agus.

"All of you here are currently being suspected of treason..." said Agus as he didn't give any side glance at them.

"Ah... wait what did you say, My Lord?!" said one of the general in shock.

"As I said all of you are currently suspected as a possible traitor since your family is in dealing with the Malacca agent and had taken bribes in secret," said Agus with a bit anger in his tone.

"Ah, Father did it? then what about my brother, no my mother?" said the young general in shock and surprise.

"... Your brother also got complicated because of it as for your mother... well, from the letter i read she immediately faints after hearing your father's arrest" said Agus emotionlessly.

Hearing the news the young general clenched his fist tightly holding down his emotion as Agus looked at the man's action carefully before turning his eye away then glanced at the other nearby general noticing the gesture the other young general now knew exactly why did he bring them there it was to tell them that their family were also got implicated inside it which also told them they either killed as a son of traitorous noble or enforce their loyalty once more to him but this time to swear an absolute fealty to him even to the death.

"It's pointless if you put up a fight I could kill all of you single-handedly quickly unlike a few days earlier I'm much stronger then before even in a blink of an eye, you wouldn't able to resist at all and it's would be pointless," said Agus emotionlessly "After that I could call your entire family executed by the letter with the reason trying to kill the monarch to hide evidence and at the same time and betrayal against the kingdom" as he continues in cold voice.

Hearing the word directly from the monarch put all the young general who was with him in cold sweat and tearing up in fright as they stare back at him they no longer see him as a normal king but an obscure demon king waiting to come out from his hideout that could kill them in any moment notice as he stared back at them one by one without emotion, they could still breath and talk is already luck itself and now he had given them a choice either to betray him or not and if they die their family would suffer the consequences of their action which putting them in a dilemma at the same time.
