WAR OF AGES

The town that was lit in flame screams were heard everywhere either on the right side, the left side, or the other side. The soldier from Agus's army hesitate what they should do since they were supposed to take back the town but with the fire coming everywhere who are they suppose to be.

"The Lord said to take a bucket filled with water then throw it at any house that isn't yet burning" shouted by the Lord's messenger as he runs around the army.

As the order was heard the army quickly follow it and no one denies the order, not a single soldier, officer nor knight. A soldier carries three buckets filled with water, an officer directing the soldier to where it's needed, a knight pulling out the unlucky man from the debris.

"What? everyone grab the bucket and find some water," as the soldier run looking for a bucket.

"Hey, you get the wounded out of here now," shouted by an officer.

"I need help here, anyone," as the knight holding debris on top of a man.

As the town was burning in flame quickly subsided as the flame could no longer spread, The citizen who watches the soldier helping could not even speak are they the conqueror or are they the liberator not sure what they should do.

"Everyone gets into formation now!!!" shouted by someone.

The soldier with haste quickly reforms their ranks in the street and Agus who was on his horse quickly dismount as he grabs a sword and shields as he leads the army formation and leads the charge into the enemy line.

Agus march toward the town hall raising his shield and walk ever closer to the town hall as he watches the enemy soldier he saw an insignia of one of the empires Malacca's noble family of the empire followed with a banner hanging down from the nearby house and the town hall, he was infuriated but he holds down his anger.

"Men grab your javelin" shouted by Agus as the formation march.

"Javelin ready," said an officer. "Javelin Ready" reported by the soldier.

"Throw the javelin" shouted by Agus.

Following Agus's command, a volley of javelin was thrown away killing few enemies as they raise their shield in time before crashing into the formation. Agus with his charge successfully stagger the enemy force then followed with a stab to the stomach then slide to his right revealing the soldier's gut as he bleeds out to death.

Two enemy soldier comes close to him attempting to kill him but as Agus has seen them while holding his shield he charges to the enemy crashing which staggered him as he falls back to avoid a sword slashing downward.

Agus quickly slash back towards him as he tries to block it but due to the inferior sword he has, it broke apart as it connects thus killing him then followed by another stab to the staggered soldier as he falls backward.

"Die!!!" shouted by an enemy soldier.

As Agus heard it from his right side he quickly jumps back before suddenly ahead of the spear thrust toward previously where he was once standing. Two-handed spearmen try to kill him but he failed to do it as he was excited and shout.

"Damn, old man do you think by shouting that I will die," as Agus smirk. "Please stop it you gonna make me laugh, that's an old school," as he mocks him.

Angered to certain extent the man quickly tries another thrust it once more toward Agus but as he has seen it with quick reflex, Agus deflected the spear thrust as the man quickly grab a sword from his waist tried to slash him but to no avail the sword find it's mark and the men's neck has a slits followed with blood pouring out from it.

The nearby enemy soldier who saw it then tries once more slash towards him this time he succeeding in wounding Agus on his shoulder before following up with the fallen man's spear thrusting the mouth of the attacker killing him as he was shocked to death.

Agus with no remorse thrown the dead body toward the nearby enemy soldier who still fighting causing them to befall beneath the dead body then stabbed to death by Agus's men.

"Men onward, push out the invader of this town," as Agus shouted to his men.

"Yes, Sir" shouted by his men in union.

As the army heard the order as they see once him fighting in splendor they started to fight in greater vigor thus increase in morale and they killed the enemy within a second even though the enemy's ability was greater than them.

"Archer opens fire" shouted by one of the army lieutenants.

Another arrow was shot at the enemy archer formation but only killed at least 15% and they tried to fire back but no arrow reaches its target since they were already taken cover in the building and under their brother in arm's shield.

As the Agus's soldier on the frontline killed most the enemy soldier they quickly run toward the enemy archer attempting to massacre them hunting to the very last man as one of the soldiers spotted one of the formations, they started to kill every last one of them even crying for mercy killed in cold blood.

The enemy general who previously watches it ordered his cavalry to charge was surprised as they were held by Agus's spearmen awaiting for the charge. No choice but to dismount from the horse as they walk getting closer to them before a hole opened up between the formation.

A group of cavalry horseman charger directly at the knight formation breaking it before followed with infantry charge to clean up the remnant, Agus also ordered to capture the enemy leader unless he still tried to run away.

"Eh? i-i surrender" shouted by the enemy general.

"Good, we got the enemy leader to drag him to the lord," said a knight.

"But kill the rest of them," as he watches the enemy archers getting rounded up.

"Yes, captain," said by another knight.

What come next were a massacre as the enemy soldier begging for mercy but to no avail as their head and body were separated the reason did not only do they also attempted to rule the town with tyranny by raising tax high, not paying a single coin to the bar for a drink, **** attempt was seen or done to the town woman and girl and killing without reason also been made by them.

The Town who seen it who sought vengeance for their family and loved ones were jubilant with the army who tried to liberate them as the siege as the battle was over and the party celebrated everywhere in every part of the city showing how happy they were being freed from the oppression.

The soldier and the citizen learn from one to another that they were having the hardship of their own but due to their supposed lord, the hardship began to it started to subside from it. Agus who saw the celebration could only smile looking at it as he returns to the town hall's mayor chamber looking at the paper at the table as he grabs it before a knock could be heard outside of his door.

"You may come in, General," said Agus.

A knight, two soldiers, and the enemy general tied up were seen by Agus as he walks at the lean his back to the table watching over them.

"Sire, we have captured the enemy general. what you like us to do?" said one of the knights. "Hmmm... let see here, you soldier may leave" answered by Agus.

"Yes, Sir," as the soldier left the room leaving three of them.

As the knight is tired he quickly grabs his leather bottle on his waist before drinking from it after moving to the corner. Agus who watch the general look at his appearance and supposed to be one of the noble from the empire who is corrupted at the very least.

Agus glance at one of the paper which is connected to the general in front of him.

"Now... What is your is defense, general?" said abruptly catching the general unguarded. "I'm not guilty, just kill me already someone like you wouldn't dare anyway. hahaha" answered back by the general.

"Sure, I wouldn't dare if that was the normal case since you are the emperor relative but trash in my perspective," said Agus.

"You dare to insult me when I'm back I gonna kill every last one of you," said the general. "But you have made a mistake on your part" answered back while looking at a piece of paper.

"Hoho, and what is that suppose to be?" said in a mocking tone.

"It's said you also attempted **** upon a young girl from one of the citizens as you fail to do you also killed her entire family because of it, hmmm" as he glances toward the general.

"That's must be a fabricated doc.u.ment, I would not do so," said as avoiding eye contact.

"That is a shame since the doc.u.ment was signed by many people on this town and each signed right below here" as he showed the long paper that slides open to 2 meters long.

The general who tried to bluff but his head turned blue before turning white as he looking for excuse escaping the punishment.

"Wow, that's is a lot of signature sire," said the nearby knight as he looks on the paper. "Death sentence would be proper in that case," as he glances the tied up general. "As the knight says but if you told me who told you to invade here I'll let it off now if you want it that is" finished by Agus.

"I..." said by the general struggling.

"Okay, strip him n.a.k.e.d and hang him" cut off by Agus.

"Yes, sire it is p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e," as the knight grabs the general by the neck and carried him away.

"No, you can't do this!!! The emperor is my brother, he will get you for this" shouted by the general.

As Agus heard he just showed his smile coldly, As he watches the window in the mayor's office looking at the festival in the town courtyard.

"That if he can get me in time before I destroy him first" destroying this kingdom as he takes a cup of tea on the table near the window.
