WAR OF AGES

As Agus arrived at the library and met with the librarian woman, he could only look at his note before answering.

"I would like to borrow some of this list please if I can or you could tell me where is it right, now?" as he gives the list.

"Let me see," as she takes the list from Agus and searches from the monitor in front of her.

Agus who is waiting wandered his eye to one of the recently borrowed books but none were interesting and quickly wandered to another place as he sees a person trying to grab a book on top of the shelves.

"Most of the book can be borrowed but had not yet returned by the previous student, please come back again tomorrow and we hope the book returned by then," as the librarian put the list back on top of her desk.

"Thank you very much," as he takes the list and put it in his b.r.e.a.s.t pocket.

"Your welcome and it was a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to help," said the receptionist as she looks once more to the monitor.

Agus was planning to walk to his bookshelf, but he walks to the person and grabs the book the person trying to reach as the person was surprised by his sudden appearance.

"Eh? Thank you," as the person takes the book and hold it.

The voice was a woman's voice which supposes not to be surprising but the person herself was wearing a man's outfit thus surprising him greatly.

"So are you new in here or?" said with an indifferent tone.

"I'm still new around here just started this year," as she was a bit shy talking about it. "Really that the same as me" looking at the person as a smile appears a bit from his face.

"I'm Agus Purnomo First year, best regard," as he takes a book from its shelves.

"I'm... Vicky," as the person opens the book to hide her face.

As Agus watch her hide he could only take the necessary book and put it in his bag for reading later on.

"If you are uncomfortable then I'll leave right away" as he was planning to leave.

"No, it's fine" it was almost a scream with the way she talks.

"Okay then," As he was awkward not knowing what to do.

Agus who is still standing quickly grabs the nearby chair the sits near her after grabbing his book from his bag and reads it, as the clock is ticking in the library there was only silence between the two of them as both were reading their respective book.

"Em, what are you reading?" unable to hold down the anxiety quickly Vicky opened her mouth.

"It's about computer stuff the usual, not that much interesting" without taking a glance.

"I see," said in a bit of let down.

Not knowing what to do both of them continued to read their book in silence.

"So where are you from actually, I mean your school?" he glances to the girl on the opposite side of him.

"Mm, I was from Tarsisius Private high school from Bandung" still reading the book.

"I see that so that explains your personality, well I guess," as he looks at Elly in admiration.

"Excuse me?" as she stops reading and looks at Agus in Confusion.

"Well the way you tried to find distance while at the same time you tried to talk to me giving me some idea actually"

"Well, the way you trying to stayed your distance from me while also trying to talk to me," as he points his thumb finger to Vicky.

"Since I also have a friend who once studied there," as he continued.

"Who is he or her?" as a question appeared on top of her head.

"Hmm, If I remember correctly... it was Vivianna" Answered by Agus.

"Vivianna?! Big Sister Vivianna!!!" as she put down her book then stand.

"Yes?" he was staggered by the sudden action and watch carefully to Vicky.

"So You're that Agus" as she points her finger toward him.

"What happens? what did she do?" Agus stopped reading his book and started to put it in his bag.

"She left, she just left me" as tears started to drop.

"Why did she left you?" unable to think clearly and stayed the distance with her.

"She said... she falls in love with you" she shouted.

"Eh? heh?!" Staggered for a second time.

"Silence!!!" shouted by the receptionist.

As Agus look at his left where the receptionist is from and Elly quickly grabs her book and once more hide with her book, Agus turns his eye back toward her once more but since the atmosphere is heavy he quickly stands.

"Okay, then I'll leave now since I need to do something else," as he walks away from there.

Not answering Vicky, her eyes wander to the back of Agus with his back slowly fading.

"Stupid" as she whispers it in a low voice before turned into a smile.

As Agus walks out of the library he sees a group of men passing by and one of the men saw him then stop gazing at him before pointing his finger toward Agus.

"He is the one who insulted Maria," said the person.

"Say what?!" said in a grievance. "He dares!!!" continued by another student.

Agus who was standing at the side of the corridor were surprised by the person who suddenly pointed her to someone but at the same time he tried to hold his laugh but no expression was seen on his face, Holding his laugh in check his mouth twitch few time as the person who is front of him were beyond recognition as the person's face were like face.

"Before you insulted Maria and even Melati, you seek death?!" as the person on the front walks close to Agus.

"Insult? what insult I have some business to attend because I don't have any free time spare if I want to get close either Maria or even other people you mentioned about" by Agus as argue.

"If you want to talk then make an appointment, I don't have a free time at the moment," as he continued.

"You!!! said the person in front of him in anger.

With anger and unable to hold it in the person throws a punch toward Agus but due to his high awareness, the fist that was meant for Agus suddenly flies through Agus and thrown toward the bully's friend.

Either fate or bad luck the very person that point finger toward Agus was suddenly punched once more on his face for the second time where he flew and crashed to the wall and knocking him unconscious.

As the men were thrown to the wall and due the extreme pain he was unconscious once more causing making the person who just thrown his first start to regret doing it.

"Ah, he is unlucky," said Agus in a mocking tone.

The nearby student who was looking could not refute such a statement since some seen him getting a punch and knocked to the wall twice.

"You are interesting indeed, not only did you avoid but also counter his attack," as the person hiding in the crowd come out.

"Oh, it's you again I was wondering whom it was" after glancing the person on his side appears to be a teenage girl before.

"Oh, please stop provoking them," as she raises her hand and glance to her side.

"Most men usually start to gather around to get closer to me or mary," said by Melati.

"But that seems did not affect you at all, very curious" continued by her.

"Well, I have some priorities to attend to and finish, unlike most of these men," as he glances to his surrounding pointing before raising his hand.

Melati who heard about the incident just giggled in amus.e.m.e.nt because of Agus's word which stunned the crowd, who heard as they never once saw nor heard Melati's laugh or smile.

"That's true" before her smile appeared but it was an emotionless smile.

"Finish? I need to take care of other stuff, right now" as Agus's eye wander to Melati to question.

"Okay then Bagus, please tell the other to stop harass him anymore or else," as she looks at the person who is unconscious because of the punch.

"That's... I understand I will tell the other but what about him if he still provokes others" as he looks at the unlucky man who got punch twice in a day.

"Just keep a watch on him if he dares to make a ruckus after this, kick him out of the group never return," as gaze on the unconscious men.

"Oh, and Agus can you meet me, umm this weekend after college at the front yard," as she looks at Agus.

"I guess free at the weekend, I guess" answered back.

"Great meet you then," as she turns to her front.

As she finished with everything, she left everyone on the corridor and Agus has nothing to do in the corridor he planned to go home to the front courtyard.

Before being stopped by the security guard who is waiting at the courtyard and was checking at every student passing by him before matching the picture in his hand as he stopped Agus in place.

The security guard told Agus to go to the dean's office companies with a security guard as both of them walk to the dean's office upon arriving at the security guard knock the door.

"Sir, student Agus is here" after knocking the door.

"Let him in" by the person inside.

Agus who still on the front door turn the handle then push the door which reveals two mid-aged men who suppose to be the dean and the previous teacher who helped the unconscious student.

"Oh, Agus? unexpected you have good muscle but still need to be developed more not done yet" said the teacher.

"Hold on, let me talk first," said the dean.

"Ehm, Mahasiswa Agus Purwono we call you here to discuss a certain issue at hand" continued by him. "Possibly the chaos I made before that taken care off" cut by Agus
