What In This World! Oh... Wait A Minute. It's Another World.

[Author note: first time skip coming up, hope I do it well. Also, tiny chapter.;,;.]

After dinner, I offered to Harrold for him to move to the castle. Harrold refused the invitation, then excused himself to his residence. Before he parted I made sure to let him know, should he ever d.e.s.i.r.e, my offer still stands.

Carmen offered the same to Ariko, and she accepted. Father, knowing the reason we both did such, said nothing about what happened with Harrold, but said that Ariko's room would be the one to the left (when entering) of Carmen's room, seeing that Ariko would be Carmen's personal guard. The butler offered to give her the bit of training she would need, and Ariko gratefully accepted.

"Just don't do anything like that last test again," said while blushing, "I don't want to experience anything like that again," then she muttered some words I didn't here. (Ariko)

"Don't fret Miss Ariko, I will do nothing of the like," then he whispered into her ear, to which she blushed an even brighter shade of red.

After that, all of us, except Carmen and Ariko, went our separate ways, to our rooms I suspect. Once I arrived in my room, I laid down and fell asleep immediately.

The next few months came and went without much special happening. Carmen and I sometimes went on dates, and sometimes I'd just wander around town with Stevenson. All the time Ariko, Harrold, Carmen, and I were training with Mister Lephord.

It had been three months since Honey's death, and today marked my, Carmen's, and Harrold's graduation from the knight's training we had endured, or at least the physical portion of it. We had been informed once we completed this we'd be sent to the magic school to train up in what magic we could do.

"Congratulations you three, you've put in a lot of time and effort to get this far, and I think this graduation is much deserved." (Ernest)

"I did only what was instructed of me, nothing more if anything it is the one who trained me who deserves of the thanks." (Harrold)

"Nonsense, my training means nothing without the willpower and determination to succeed. You are the one who had those things." (Chief)

"I agree, you are all worthy of praise." (Ernest)

"Thank you, father." (Dawson)

"Thank you, uncle." (Carmen)

"Thank you, Sire." (Ariko then Harrold)

"Now, Ariko, I heard that you also graduated my butler's personal training, but didn't want to do the graduation ceremony for it?" (Ernest)

"Because that graduation ceremony has that test as a part of it, and I don't want to go through that again," she said with flushed cheeks. (Ariko)

"Oh, I see, if we skipped that, would you be willing to go through it?" (Ernest)

"Yes, there is no other part I simply won't do, thank your majesty for the consideration." (Ariko)

"You heard her, start the preparations immediately." (Ernest)

"Yes, sire." (Butler)

The butler leaves to get things ready.

"Carmen, can we talk privately? I just want to talk about the past between us without having to explain things." (Dawson)

"Sure, let's go to my room," she said with a sweet smile on her face while staring at me lovingly. (Carmen)

We left the others and went to Carmen's room. When we got there, we decided to sit in the love seat.

"These past few months have been crazy, to say the least." (Dawson)

"It definitely has, I'm actually surprised at how quickly I got used to being treated as a princess." (Carmen)

"I know, It took only about a month for me to actually be used to being a prince, I just knew that I was such due to heritage, so I acted the part best I could right away." (Dawson)

"I almost forget what life was like before this already." (Carmen)

"I know, right… what brought us here?" (Dawson)

We then spend some time discussing the events of the first chapter as well as Carmen's day (Will be explained in chapter 12). Partway through our conversation I just stopped talking.

"What is it, Sone?" (Carmen)

There was silence for about 2 minutes.

"I can't believe what I did," tears streaming down my face, "I did just the same thing as my father… how's this going to affect Sue… she just earlier that day said that she wished for me to be out of her hair forever… then I just up and disappeared… what have I done..." (Dawson)

After that, I broke down crying unable to see or hear what was going on around me. It took me about 10 or so minutes to calm down.

"Dawson… I understand you blame yourself, and in truth, you are to blame, but you can't beat yourself up for what's already happened. All you can do is to accept what's happened, correct it if you can, and continue with your life." (Carmen)

"I will try my best, but I don't know what to do, is there even a way to contact them?" (Dawson)

"Why don't we ask when we are being taught magic, I'm sure if there's any chance, they'd know." (Carmen)

"Okay, let's do that, thank you Ramen," Ramen being pronounced like ramen noodles. (Dawson)

After that, we kissed and then I went to my room and went to bed.
