What In This World! Oh... Wait A Minute. It's Another World.

As we wander around the town I start to wonder what my future holds. At this very moment I see a shop of a profittess.

"Hay Kip, I know that the accuracy of one in a place like this is not likely to be very high, but why don't we check them out?" Danica says whilst pointing towards the profittess's shop.

"Sure, let's hope we find a rare gem here." (Kip)

As one of our world would expect, the shop has no way to see in or out whilst the door is closed. We then decide to enter the shop.

Once we are inside we see that the entire room is black with exception to a white marble table and a floating clear crystal along with the proprietress of this establishment.

"Come in young princess, come in" (proprietress)

A little taken aback I say "Either you do well in your craft or you are a spy, which is it?" (Danica)

"Fear not child, for I know what ails you, and nothing said in this room is ever spoken by me to another without the concerned partie's approval." (proprietress)

"Good, so how much do you expect for a reading?" (Danica)

"I expect not, you will give me what you deem right after my reading... there is the possibility that you will pay me not... but I know better with you, yet I never expect any payment from those I help." (proprietress)

"Alright, and what should I call you?" (Danica)

"I have been called many things, but those here like to call me Mother Baya" (Baya)

"Alright Baya?"(Danica)

Baya nods and I sit in the black chair that's in front of the table.

"Well, I'm ready whenever you are." (Danica)

"Alright child, place your hands under the crystal ball and gase into it." (Baya)

I follow her instructions and then she places her hands on mine doing the same.

"I see many paths, all with varying lengths of life, however, I see only one with more than one year of life left, and that path will cost you 500 silver, as you will need to use the magic school teleportation circle today!" (Baya)

"How soon will I need to leave?" (Danica)

"As soon as you leave this shop you need to go gather your things without delay and head to the town hall, Suelynn will guide you there." (Baya)

I get up to leave. .

"Thank you Mother Baya, I will take my leave and get right to that" (Danica)

I bow to her, dropping 3 silver on the table, and then turn to leave.

"If you don't wish to die today, wait until I tell you to leave." (Baya)

I stop, we stand there for like 5 minutes or so...

"Now go, and remember, whatever happens, don't delay!" (Baya)

Hence, I immediately depart, heading towards the inn. Upon arrival I greet Sue hurriedly.

"Sue, I'm in a rush, could we walk and talk?" (Danica)

She nods, following me towards my room.

"Sure, we don't tend to get many customers this time of day... why the rush though?" (Suelynn)

"What is the accuracy of Mother Baya's readings?" (Danica)

"I'd say around 97% or so?" (Suelynn)

At this point in the conversation I'm already half-way packed.

"Then Kip and I need to leave ASAP for the magic school via the transportation portal if we want to survive longer than a year, as proclaimed by Baya." (Danica)

"Well, as you only used the rooms for storage I will only request 1 bronze total... half per room. Also, I'll show you to the City Hall, as that is where the teleportation circle is." (Suelynn)

"Here you go, and I thank you in advance for the help." (Danica)

Now done with packing I head back to the entrance, meeting Kip along the way.

"Please lead the way Sue." (Danica)

"Sure thing, follow me." (Suelynn)

"Thank you, you didn't have to go out of your way to help us." (Kip)

"It's no problem, I honesty don't feel right taking money from you after you only used my Inn as a storage space for a few hours, however, I have a business to run, so as I asked for 1 bronze I felt that the least I could do is show you the way to the teleportation circle." (Suelynn)

It only took us around 5 minutes to arrive at city hall.

"Hay Suelynn, what brings you here, and with whom did you come?" (Guard-A)

"Hay Rayan, this is Danica and Kip, I brought them here to use the MSTP." (Suelynn)

"Wait, you know that can only be used after the trials, and only for those who pass, that is unless they are willing to fork over 250 Silver per person... can they afford such?" (Guard-B)

"I have no doubt that they can afford such, Bob." (Suelynn)

"Hay, Suelynn, you know I don't like that nickname... My name is Robertson, if you must shorten it, call me Rob, not Bob." (Robertson)

"Okay okay, if they are willing to fork over that much either it's urgent or they are rich... either way we should not keep them waiting." (Rayan)

"Thank you... Mama Baya told us not to delay and to leave ASAP if we wish to live over 1 year more." (Danica)

"Oh, well right this way... is she covering the cost or are you?" (Rayan)

"My understanding is we are, she did after all say we'd need 500 Silver." (Kip)

"However it's inside my enderite pouch... how do you want it?" (Danica)

"We'll just send a note with you... pay them when you step out of the teleportation portal." (Robertson)

At this point we reach a room with what looks to be a blue-green floating oblong ball of water in the middle.. Rayan hands us a note and guides us to step into this ball of water.
