What Where You Thinking

Mits woke up to her phone buzzing on the pillow next to her!

It was her mother.

Mits thoughts "what is wrong?"

She answered the phone - "yes Mom! What's wrong?

"

"Morning my sweetie," "Just reminding you we are flying in today and that you have to fetch us at 10am"

Mits I jump into the shower and washed. She finished up and dried herself.

She puts on a light blue sun dress.

With everything going on in her life she had totally forgotten her parents is coming to visit.

She woke up Shane and said "You need to get dressed, we have to pick up my parents at the airport in an hour."

Shane jumped up and rand to the bathroom, out of the bathroom he shouted, "Why did you not tell me that your parents is coming to visit?"

With red cheeks she just said "It slipped my mind."

Grinning at himself in the bathroom, he thought to himself, I wonder why?

In a record time Mits and Shane was done and on their way to the airport, they got there just in time as she saw her parents come through the doors.

When she saw her mother she ran to her and hugged her tightly.

Mits father was the first to see Shane, he gave his hand to greet her father, but he just looked at Shane and then to Mits.

"And who might this be?" Her father asked.

"Mom, dad this is Shane."

Mits mom greeted Shane with a worm and loving smile but her father just looked at him and said, "Lets go it's hot in here."

Shocked by her fathers attitude towards Shane she walked behind him, talking to her mother, she asked her mom.

"Mom what is wrong with dad?"

Her mother looked worried at her but after a while she said.

"Your dad had a phone call from a lady called Janine, and she said the most awful things to your dad."

Shocked Mits asked "When did dad get this phone call?"

"Two weeks ago sweetie, that is why your dad insisted that we come and visit you, your dad want's to know what is going on."
