What Where You Thinking

"You know that your parents love you my angel, they flew all this way to find out what is going on with you, if they did not love you they would have asked you all these questions over the phone."

"I know they love me, and I love them, it's just I have never seen my dad so angry at me in his whole life."

The whole time Mits and Shane was talking they did not see Mits father standing at the door listening to them.

A light knock at the door startled Mits and Shane, they both looked up in shock and saw her father standing in the door.

"I think we need to start this whole conversation over, if you two would join us in the living room, your mother made some tea."

Without another word her father turned and walked away.

They were all seated in the living room with a cup of tea, when her father spoke again, but this time Mits could hear the concern and love in his voice.

"I am sorry about earlier, it's just this woman Janine said to me that she and Shane was still married and that you stole him from her, and that she wants him back and she will destroy you if she has to."

Mits looked at her parents in shock and then at Shane, she could see the anger in his face, he eyes went dark and he looked down at his cup of tea.

After what felt like a life time Shane was the first to speak.

"I am really sorry that she had done that, she is angry with me for cutting her off financially, she always told me that she work and that she worked night shift, I was busy at work all the time and never thought of it."

Shane got quite a bit and everyone was looking at him.

"I met Mits at work, we only started seeing each other after a while, the one Friday night we went to a movie and then dinner, that was when I saw her with another man, she had been lying about work and every night she went to work she actually went out to see this man."

Mits parents was shocked when they heard this.

But before they could say anything Shane continued. "The Saturday morning when she came home I told her about Mits, and that I wanted a divorce, she said she will only agree to a divorce after she met Mits, that is when I came to Mits and told her about my wife, I loved Mits and I wanted to be with her."

Shane started getting tears in his eyes, and Mits knew why.

She took his hand into hers and gave him a encouraging smile.

With that Shane continued, "Mits got so angry with me that she told me that is was over between us, I felt as if my heart was torn out and given to hungry lions."

"I went to go and meet Janine that morning and told her that Mits broke up with me, she started laughing at me and then she signaled at someone and a man came to sit down at the table, I recognized him at the man she was with the night before."

"Sarcastically she introduced him to me and said his name was Alfonso, and that I don't want to see them together I must move out of the house that night because Alfonso would be moving in with her."

"I got up and walked out, I phoned my lawyers and said that they must draw up the divorce papers, after an hour my attorneys phoned me back and said that Janine has never worked one day in her life, we had a joint account as because I has so much money in the account I never picked up that her money was never paid into the account."

Shane took a big sip of his tea before he continued.

"I got my attorneys to investigate some more, she had been spending my money on every toy boy she met, I got my attorneys to only give her a certain amount of money for the month, and I did tell her that she must get herself a job."

"I thought that she had accepted everything because we had not heard anything about her for a very long time now."
