What Where You Thinking

Adrenaline has flooded Shane's bloodstream.

Running towards the car, he finds it difficult to breathe.

Shane got to the car and Mits is not moving, but can see that she is still breathing.

Taking his phone out of his pocket the calls a ambulance, barely pausing to breathe, he told them to come immediately.

Shane is concerned and his face is pale, not sure what to do.

Shane groans silently with frustration, "What is taking them so long."

As soon as the ambulance got there they got Mits out the car and air lifted her to the hospital.

Fighting back tears, Shane got in his car and drove straight to the hospital.

Shane thought over and over in his head "Please, please, please be okay, I can't lose jou"

Shane parked the car and ran into the hospital.

Shane walked into the ER reception, the lady gave him a polite smile and asked if she could help him.

"Mits had been airlifted I would like to know on what floor she is."

Smiling again the lady checked her computer and said that he must go up to the Seventh floor.

Shane rushed to the elevators.

His stomach feels as if it is doing summer salts.

"O please let her be okay, please.

"Come on come on why does this damn elevator take so slow."

At long last the doors open on the Seventh floor and Shane rushed to the reception desk.

Before the nurse on duty can even ask Shane if she can help him he said "Mits was airlifted and they said that I can find her on this floor."

She looked intently at her computer, "Yes sir, the doctor is still busy with her, please go and wait in the waiting area and I will let the doctor know that you are here."

Shane turned around and saw a door that said waiting room.

Shane groans silently with frustration "Can you at least tell me if she is okay?"

"Unfortunately I am unable to say that sir, you would have to wait till the doctor is finished with her."

Shane felt like screaming with frustration, but walked over to the waiting room.
