What Where You Thinking

Mits walked to the living room, as soon as Shane see's her, he tried to smile at her, but failed when he see's the tears in her eyes.

Mits got straight to the point, not want to waste anymore time, "You wanted to talk Shane, here is your change."

He looked down at the floor not sure how to start, he decided just to start at the beginning. So he walked to the couch and sat down, looking at Mits he started.

You started working at our company, and for the first few weeks you had looked at me but I did not have the courage to do or say anything.

You used to walk and do photocopies and turn around and smile, I used to hang around in the back of the room, I was a shy guy but i started to look at you and felt a jolt whenever our eyes met.

This had carried on for a few weeks but I could not find the courage to ask you anything, I was a shy married man.

That one afternoon you asked me for a lift because your car broke down and it was raining and it was late.

I took you home and you asked me to come in and have tea.

You sat across form me and I could not help but to look into that big blue eyes for your, I knew that I liked you, and that I should tell you that I was married. But you kept on talking and I just wanted to listen to that sweat voice of yours, we sat here talking for hours and just laughing.

When I drove home that night, I knew that I have to tell you about my wife, but thinking of your soft voice and your smile, I just did not know how to tell you.

The next day I met you at work, I asked you how you are, you said to me "I am feeling goofy" I could not help but smile at you. You were funny and I liked talking to you.

That night you asked me for a lift again as your car was not back from repairs, I was glad that you asked me, because I liked talking to you, you made my day with your smile and just looking in your eyes made me forget about everything that was going on in my life.

That night when I dropped you off at home, I kissed you bye and then that was when we started seeing each other.

You made me feel special again, you made me feel loved, you where the one that brought the old Shane out of the cupboards the loving and caring me.

Myself and Janine had been married for 12 years, she was my high school sweat heart, but as time passed we grew apart, we hardly see each other, I work during the day and she works night shift, that is how she prefers is.

We don't sleep in the same rooms, if we are both at home, "I don't know how to explain it to you Mits."

"So far you are doing a good job Shane, just keep going and tell me everything."

With a small smile Shane went on with his story.

My wife did not find out about you Mits, I told her about you, I told her that I have falling in love with you and that I wanted a divorce, she said that she will only divorce me when she had met you, she wanted to see the person that stole me away from her.

I told her that you did not steel me away from her, I chose to be with you because you loved me and she did not.

Yesterday when you stormed off and I went to breakfast to go and see her, I told her that I told you about her, she started laughing at me and said that how much could you love me, because you could not even come and meet her.

I told her that you needed time to process all this information.

Mits tried to smiled and said "You know I am still not going to go and meet your wife."
