What Where You Thinking

"Why did you taken so long to get here?"

"I am sorry Mits, we coughed Janine's first accomplish, just to find out that he was not the only one, it seems like she is using her looks to get guys to do what she want's them to do."

"I am not following you?"

"She has about 10 guys working for her now, we coughed 4 out the 10, the last one told me more about what I wanted to know than the first 3, that is how I knew that she has been here for more than a week and that she has been using a false passport to get the plane."

"But my question is still, where are they?"

"They are on their way back home, Janine met a pilot while she was here, and as I can gather, he is taking them back in his private yet."

"Then why the hell are we still standing here talking, we need to go home."

"Get ready to go Mits we are leaving in 3 hours, I will go and tell your parents and Mel."

"Thanks."

David let Mits to her thoughts, she knew something was wrong.

She runs to the room to get all their things pack, about 10 min and she was ready to go, walking up and down the room, looking at the clock every 5 min.

Getting more frustrated with the time going so slow, her mother came into the room.

"Mits honey are you ready to go?"

"Yes mom I have been ready to go for the past hour, but the time is going so slow."

"Come with us, we are going to get a cup of coffee."

"No thanks mom I don't want coffee, I want to get home and get Shane."

Mits did not see her father come in, "Stop that right now young lady. We are all worried about Shane but there is nothing that we can do till it's time to go home, now get your stuff and come with us for coffee."

Shocked at her father Mits picked up their stuff and walked out the room with her parents, out side David was waiting by the car, taking the bags from Mits and putting them in the car.

They all went to the small coffee shop around the hotel, no one said a word, but kept an close eye on the clock.

Mits father was the first one to get up, "It's time to go get ready I am going to pay the bill."

They all got up and walked out the coffee shop, got into the car and got in, the ride to the airport was another quite ride.

They got into the plane took their seats and waited to go home.

Another long quite flight home.

Ones back home, they got the car waiting for them with another one of Shane's bodyguards.

They gave him their bags and got into the car, they dropped Mel off at her apartment and then went to Mits flat, "You know dad you don't have to stay with me, I know you and mom really wanted to go home."

"I will not hear of it, we are staying with you until this mess is sorted out. And do not argue with us, do you under stand?"

"Yes dad I understand." Feeling like a little girl again who got into trouble, she did not look her father in his eyes.

But she can not help wondering what has gotten into him, he as not been like this in a very long time.

Thinking to her self, she tried to remember when last she had seen her father this mad, with everything going on in her life she started to smile when she remembered.

"Why are you smiling dear?"

Her mothers voice startled her, "I was just thinking of the last time I saw dad this mad."

Both her parents looked at her with shock.

"It was in my Matric year when I sneaked out the house to go to this party with Jaco, I thought that you where sleeping, but I was making such a rakes and I did not see dad sitting in the living room when I tried to sneak past him, I got still got out the house and into Jaco's car, went to the party just for dad to come and pick me up 5 min after we got there."

Laughin now at her self, she looked at her parents who is still not saying anything, "that was the easy times, where I did not care about anything or anyone except myself."

"How times have changed my girl." Her father told her with a small smile on his face.

"Yes know I care about everyone around me and I don't want to see anyone get hurt."

David turned around and looked at Mits seeing the tears run down her face, he could not help but feel guilty for not getting to them in time, he loved Shane as a brother, they had been friends since they were 6 years old, he had grown to love Mits as a sister, and he can not help but feel this is part his fault that she is crying.
