What Where You Thinking

They left the restaurant, and got into the car, Shane looked at Mits and asked "Are you sure you want to do this Mits, Janine can be mean and rude!"

With a nervous smile all Mits could say is "Yes lets do this."

The entire drive to his house Mits could not calm her nerves, she know that she still love Shane, and she was the one that said he could stay in her guest room and then she was also the one that sigested they be friends first.

Shane stoped the car, and looked over to where Mits was deep in thought.

"We are here." Was the words that brought Mits back to the reality of what they are about to do.

They both got out the car, Shane took his keys for the house of the car keys, once at the door they stoped and he smiled at her, "It will be okay, I will be there for you."

"You just get your things as quickly as you can so that we can get out of here."

Shane decided not to open the door with his keys but to knock, he knock a few times before you could hear a rude voice from inside, "I am on my way can you just wait!"

Mits really started to get nervous now.

Janine opend the door and saw Shane and Mits stand there, with a sarcastic voice she said, "Well well look you decided to come and meet me, please come in and have a seat, I will make some tea."

"No thank you Janine, I just came to pick up my things. We will be out off here in about 10 min."

With a wicked smile Janine replied "You can get your things while myself and this woman, sorry what's your name again?"

"Mits"

"O yes, while myself and Mits have a little chat."

Shane looked at Mits, and with an uneasy smile she said "It's okay you get your things."

Janine, moved out of the door way to make space so that they can come in, "You can have a seat there, I will get us a quick drink."

Mits sat down on the sofa not sure what to do, a few minutes later Janine came in with two glases in her hand and gave one to Mits.

"So how long have you know my cheating husband?"

"5 Months"

"And where did you tow meet?"

"We work together"

"Ah that explains why he has been working so much these last few months"

"You know that I was as pretty as you when I was younger, lets hope that Shane will not cheat on you when you start getting older."

Mits rolled her eyes and said, "The difference between me and you is, I know how to make him happy and you don't."

"Why you little tart, do you like braking up marriages?"

"No I don't but I am glad I broke up this one, at least Shane can be himself now and not walk on eggs around you."

"I think I must teach you some manners little girl, you are in my house, and you will treat me with respect."

Shane came walking into the living room and heard Janine's threatening Mits, "You will do no such a thing Janine, Come Mits I have everything I need."

With a sarcastic smile Mits said "Good buy Janine, hope you have a good live."

Janine tried to yank Mits back, but Shane stepped in between the two of them.

"Good buy Janine, I will get my attorneys to send you the divorce papers."

Mits and Shane left the house, ones outside Mits started to relax and got her breath back. "I am sorry Shane, I think that I might have provoked Janine more than I intended to do."

With a smile Shane replied "That is okay, Janine is a very difficult person the get along with."
