What's A King Without A System?

Chapter 65 - Mistakes Were Made, Or Were they? (2)

"That's right. These t.h.i.g.hs are mine!" Zel turned his head and rubbed his face against Emilia's t.h.i.g.hs as the woman giggled. The two stayed like this for a while before Zel stopped and turned his head to look up at Emilia's face. His mind was going through a lot of stress from the many questions he had piled up.

"What did you mean about what you said before?" Zel's been thinking about what he could have missed but came up with nothing.

Although he could go to the planet and move around, he was a bodyless soul. He would just be wasting his time if he did that. He'll basically be making a mess of his plans as well since he'd be entering it as a new factor.

"There's basically two things that we could do, and they can't be done by one person simultaneously. One is the development of the system, the other one is starting up the organization on Earth." Emilia played with Zel's hair as she spoke.

She had become used to this position of theirs that she felt like she was back at home. Even though they were in a seperate space in the dimension, a pocket dimension.

She looked down and saw that Zel had his thinking face on, making her smile at how attractive he looked. His hands were quite naughty though as he kept on playing with her stomach, but as an expert, he didn't do it so much that it bothered her.

She actually quite liked it, if she was being honest. But telling him that would just make him go overboard, or that's how it usually goes. Might as well let him do it the way he does best, as he pleases.

"So you'll set up the organization while I create the system here? It's plausible. Heck, that's the best idea I have ever heard!" Zel thought it was a good idea, as while his original idea was to just constrain the system to his will, it would only be limiting the amount of people who could access it.

But by following Emilia's suggestion, he could change the way things happen and personalize the system instead. Perhaps he could even make something much more out of it. From a system that helps people to improve their mana control and understanding of their abilities, to a whole new functionality. Zel came to think of his previous class, the King class.

"Hmmm... I was thinking of the other way around, though. I may be your goddess, but you're the king! If there's anyone who can make an organization properly, that would be you, wouldn't it?" Emilia placed her hand on Zel c.h.e.s.t while making circles using her fingers.

She had already gotten inspirations from Estophelia's memories that would make her the best person to make the system. She didn't want to tell Zel that because she wanted to surprise him. Though she wasn't lying when she said that it was more fitting for Zel to be the one to create the organization. Besides, she probably knows a lot more about what a king needs than Zel does right now. Having memories of an immortal Queen does a lot to secure that thought.

At the end of this journey, he might not even know how he got to the end without a system. At least that's the level of usefulness she wants the system to achieve for him.

"How would that work? I don't even have a body?" Zel wasn't unaware of the possibility of them switching places. The only reason he didn't think of it as a good idea was due to the difference between them, which was her having a body while he did not.

"Creating a hundred percent compatible body isn't possible, but it doesn't meant mean that you can't create one. If there's nine years for you to walk around, then let's make one that lasts ten years at the minimum." Emilia pressed her hand against Zel's head without stopping her c.a.r.e.s.sing hand. She closed her eyes for a moment before a tempest of energy occurred around them.

"It's going to hurt, but it won't last long. All you have to do is to keep yourself together, make the changes you want but don't go too far." Emilia was using the natural attractability of Zel's soul to compile a set of elements for him.

These elements that make up the body would then place themselves together, creating Zel's flesh and blood in the image of his soul. Though this would mean that his body isn't naturally made, which would cause it to not fully function. This is due to the balance a body and soul would have when it is created in the w.o.m.b. As this body wasn't created in one, it didn't reach that level of balance that allowed it to survive with sustenance alone.

For instance, the lack of connection with nature would cause the body to have no life force, instead, it would use Zel's mana as the 'glue' to keep it together. Once he wants to remove this body, he just has to stop supplying it with mana. Though there is also the risk of losing it when he is forced to run out of mana unwillfully. If Zel overuses his mana, the body would likely fall apart, making a gruesome scene.

"This is... strange." Zel didn't even have the chance to scream from the pain when the process was already finished. He sat up to inspect his body, checking if the size and proportions are properly kept. He looked down and saw that all that should be hard is hard, and all that is soft is soft. Though it would a lie if he didn't try to extend a few things.

"Geez. You're big enough already, knock it off." Emilia hurriedly slapped Zel's back with a hefty amount of force. She was still unblocked from his thoughts as it seemed like he didn't want to have some space between them. At least for a while.

"Ow! Damn it, Emilia! That hurts! A lot!" As Zel's body was newly created, it was very s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e. He was still inspecting his body and so, he wasn't the least bit guarded against that attack. The skin on his back had the imprint of Emilia's hand.

"Oh, sorry. I'm sorry, tiger." Emilia looked at Zel's squirming and had a laugh before she looked at the place she hit him. The redness of that mark wasn't just painful to look at, it looked quite serious. She hurriedly her authority to direct the energy core of this place to try and alleviate the pain by healing it.

"Ahhh... That's the spot." Zel used his hand to keep Emilia's hand still when she placed it on his back. The relieving feeling was so pleasurable that he went back down to rest his head on her t.h.i.g.hs. But the process only lasted a couple seconds before it was over.

"You're really a goddess now, aren't you?" Zel sat up to meet Emilia in the eyes with a concerned expression. Although it seemed as if she could do anything, he knew that it didn't make any sense to take this at face value. Skills always had to come from a source of power, even a small thread of his uses a considerable amount of mana.

What kind of energy source is needed to not only heal a body with such efficiency as what happened just now, but even create one from scratch as if it was nothing?

"Ummm, let's get you access first. You'll understand it then." Emilia held Zel's hand where his ring was on. She pressed a finger on the ring and it lit up, making a buzzing sound that made Zel's body squirm.

Zel's eyes lost it's light as his mind had drifted into a place he had never been to before. The land around him was made of fresh, green grass with not another single thing in sight. When Emilia saw that he had already went into his mind palace, she sent the key core of this place to Zel.

Knowledge upon knowledge about where he is, who he was and what he could do squeezed itself into his mind. Zel's attention had wandered off from it due to the amount of events that just occurred, but he did have some questions about it. Now, he got the answers before he could even ask a question. Though it was somewhat intimidating when seen from his perspective.

The grassy landscape had shockwaves pass through them, causing Zel to lose his footing and fall on his a.s.s. The rumbling went on as pile upon piles of books conjured out of nowhere and filled the once empty space. At first, they showed up from a distance and Zel merely watched on as stacks of books popped out of thin air. But gradually, they stopped stacking up and instead, made multiple stacks.

"You're kidding me? I have to read?" Zel looked at the slowly increasing pile of books and felt tired already. If there was one thing he never got to enjoy in all his lifetimes, it was studying through books. He liked reading, he liked studying, but not at the same time.

"Hmmm?" Zel looked at the first book that came and immediately changed his mind. He didn't think that he'd see a book like this here. If the rest of the books are like this one, he won't mind reading for a while. He sat down on the ground and read the title of the book.

-The Rise and Fall of the Aklan Race, Dimension 333-

"Looks good, the number makes me scared for my future but still, decent start." Zel was reading the first line when he checked out the still expanding library of books. It didn't look intimidating before, but it seemed like a monster of a hassle now. But the nightmare didn't stop there.

Soon, from one book at a time, it became two books spawning simultaneously. Then four, eight, sixteen, the books made a hill that had expanded to reach even where Zel was currently sitting on. He didn't dare to stay and stood up, running for safety while looking behind him intermittently. This went on for a while before the rumbling stopped, though it was not over.
