In the car, Song Yu drove while Gu Chen sat in the passenger seat. "Where are we going, my love?" He asked, holding her hand before kissing the palm of hers.

"Stop asking already!" it was already the tenth times, she had been asked the same question over and over again.

Before Gu Chen could say anything, he saw that they were on a path where there were many trees at the side. The lane was very long, and not before long. He saw a wide gate, and behind it was a castle like house.

It was humongous and luxurious, he remembered recognizing the castle. It was the Evans estate, thinking about that Gu Chen became silent. The air became chilly, all along Song Yu did not realized a certain sour bucket was overthinking.

When she got to the gates, she rolled down the window for the guards the see her face. "Eldest Miss." The guards greeted before driving in, the sour bucket of a man was too busy overthinking that he did not heard how the guards greeted her.

In front of the porch, Song Yu stopped the car. "Come on, we are here." She informed, before getting out of the car with the help of Gu Chen. The man had a protective arm around her waist, the still ignorant woman still did not know her man had misunderstood the situation.

Gu Chen's eyes dimed when Song Yu pulled his hand away from her waist, he was about to strengthened his hold when Song Yu held his right hand with her left in a firm gripped. His gaze became extremely gentle, all he saw was the alluring woman with her light brown hair shining under the sun.

Butler Alfred gently bowed politely, with a gentle smile on his face. "Eldest Young Miss, Master and the rest is in the living room." he informed, while he took the bags that Song Yu had in hand to the guards.

"Mr Wilson, it has been long since you came." Butler Alfred greeted the man who was stunned in place, mouth agaped.

Gu Chen was still dazed, when Song Yu pulled the man with her to the main hall. After a good five minutes walk, they arrived at a large door. Opening it, most of the family members were currently having a afternoon tea.

"Grandpa!" Song Yu rushed over to James Evans, hugging the old man. "My little girl is finally home, this old bones has been waiting for you." he returned the hug, a rare gentle smile shone in his eyes.

Louise Evans, Edward Evans and Noah Evans were all stunned seeing Song Yu bringing a man back hand in hand. Song Yu pulled back, pulling Gu Chen in front.

"Grandpa, this is Gu....Daniel. My...."

"Old Master, I came in the name of Song Yu's husband." he announced.

"Daniel, you?" Edwards asked in confusion as he pointed from Song Yu to Gu Chen.

Though Gu Chen was still confused, he decided to asked her when they were alone. "Hmm, I know." James Evans acknowledged the man, since whatever Song Yu had been doing. He knew everything, since he had been keeping a close eye on her.

He nodded in satisfaction, when he saw how Gu Chen portrayed himself. He had the pride of a powerful man, a smell of authority that not many had. He knew how powerful he was in the Asia specific and also in the European.

"Chen, this is my Ed and Noah. My annoying brothers!" She said in a gentle tone, knowing how protective they were for her.

"We met again." Gu Chen smirked at Noah, while he tightened his gripped on Song Yu's hand. .

"Alright, let's sit down and talk." James announced.

All along some were ignored by Song Yu, which was Louise Evans her father. Kristy Evans were also beside James, but she kept silence knowing she does not have a place to speak.

"You don't intend to acknowledge me, Kel?" Louise asked, as he sipped his tea.

"Oh, Father." She greeted half heartedly, making the others awkward.

James did not bother to meddle in their father and daughter relationship, or even the family feud. Since he wanted to give Song Yu the space she wants, and not make things harder than it already was.

"Big Sis, I've miss you!....when you are not around, only daddy and big brothers can keep me company." Kristy sulked, her words held two meanings.

Though the three man did not notice, James, Song Yu and Gu Chen certainly did, "Let me apologize on behalf of your sister." Gu Chen said, earning a glare from Song Yu.

The man laughed gently, as he ċȧrėssed her cheek with his right hand. Looking at her dearly, "Since it was my fault that she could not come back, since I have been begging her to stay with me." He informed, gently kissing Song Yu on the cheek.

Song Yu slightly blushed, elbowing Gu Chen using her left elbow. "It is okay big brother Chen, we can all play together in the future." The equally browned hair woman requested.

Song Yu eyes became cold, while Gu Chen stared indifferently at Kristy. Though his eyes shone utter disgust hearing someone call his name, "Call me Mr Wilson will do, only my wife can call me by my name." he spat, while Song Yu could not help but smack his thɨġh.

"Kristy." Louise stopped his ignorant daughter, giving her a disappointing look.

"How long?" James asked, breaking the silence.

"It's been a few years, grandpa." Song Yu replied, gently smiling at Gu Chen.

James eyes slightly turned red, having the urge to cry. Since it had been long since he saw such a girl like look from Song Yu, from her usually cold eyes. How long was it, since she was really happy.. James did not know, but all he felt then was that he hoped Gu Chen could stay by her forever.
