"Third brother, I am not hearing thing right?" Han Ye asked Gu Chen, not believing what Gu Chen said was true. He could not believe what he had just heard as Gu Chen just got to know Song Yu and within a few weeks or month, since they known each other. Their relationship got escalated to marriage.

Both Gu Zhi Han and Gu Zi han were ting anxious waiting for Gu Chen to say something, but the latter just stared at everyone in the living room with a bored expression. Gu Zi Han asked, "Son, how did you get married to the heiress?" Gu Zi Han felt conflicted, he did not know whether to be happy for his son or not. As he heard that the heiress of Song empire was very mysterious, nobody knew where Song Yu Yue the said heiress went.

"Didn't the heiress just came back from abroad?, How did you know her?" Gu Zi Han pressed further as Gu Chen remain silent and just stare at him with a bored expression. Gu Zi Han saw a flashed of gentleness from Gu Chen dark eyes, after he asked where he had met the heiress.

Gu Chen stood up, he started walking towards the door to leave. While he was walking he said, "What I said just now were all true, Song Yu Yue is my lawfully registered wife. So uncle, I hope uncle will not plan anything foolish or interfere in my decisions again. Oh, even if you do. Nothing will change!" Gu Chen said in a firm and decisive tone, leaving no room for discussion.

After Gu Chen left, Han Ye left shortly after. Leaving the father and uncle pair, looked at the door with a shocked and in disbelieve expression.

Jack and Song Yu arrived at the front of the entrance of the big iron gates of the manor, Jack wind down the car window and let the guards standing at the gate to do a security check before letting them through.

Upon seeing that it was their young miss who came, the bodyguard quickly bowed his head and greeted Song Yu, "Welcome back, Young Miss!." The bodyguard said with a polite tone, after he greeted Song Yu. He quickly told the guards to open the gates to let their Young Miss to get through.

Once the gates were opened, Jack drove towards the main entrance of the Manor. The journey took 10 min from the front gate to the main entrance. Jack stopped in front of the main entrance and got out of the car, he opened the back door for Song Yu to exit and stood behind Song Yu.

Butler Huang got notified that their Young Miss had came back, he quickly told Qi Ling Hu and went to the door to welcome his Young Miss. Upon seeing Song Yu arrived, he quickly went and greeted Song Yu. "Young Miss, Old Master had been waiting for you." Butler Huang slightly bowed his head and ushered Song Yu into the manor.

Before Song Yu followed Butler Huang, she said. "I'm sure he did!"Song Yu said in a cold and emotionless tone. As she followed butler Huang into the manor. with Jack behind her.

Once the entered the manor. Song Yu was told that, the old man was at the study room waiting for her arrival. "Jack, go and rest first. We will be staying for the night here." Song Yu instructed Jack before heading upstairs towards the study room.

Song Yu without knocking at the door, she pushed the door open and entered the room. Qi Ling Hu was reading some doc.u.ments, when Song Yu entered the room without knocking on it. Qi Ling Hu did not look like the typical white haired and wrinkled old man, he in fact look like a 40 years old man. Even though he was already in his 60s.

Qi Ling Hu had some wrinkles but he still looked dashing, with dark brown hair like Song Yu and manly features. Looking intimidating, Qi Ling Hu without looking at her granddaughter he said " You're back, why didn't you knock before coming in." Qi Ling Hu said adoringly.

Song Yu looked at her grandfather coldly and said, "Grandpa, why did you do it again?" Song Yu said in a rather disappointed and cold tone.

Qi Ling Hu looked up at his beloved granddaughter, he sighed before he stood up and went towards the red leather sofa of the study room. He sat down and said, "Because you faltered!" Qi Ling Hu said in a stern and firmed tone, sounding like he was lecturing Song Yu.

Song Yu scoffed and said, "When did I?"

"When you changed your flight back to Country Z to find the good for nothing friend of yours." Qi Ling Hu looked at Song Yu with his amber eyes.

"Did you test me by injuring Qiao Lin?" Song Yu asked Qi Ling Hu in a cold tone, the temperature in the room got colder and colder.

"And the result was just like i had predicted, because of that girl. You change your decisions, because of that man. You start to become weak, changing your plans again and again." Qi Ling Hu sounded disappointed.

"Have you not controlled me enough!, when I wanted to become a doctor, you used every method to stopped me from being one. Now, you are doing the same things again!" Song Yu said in a slightly high tone.

"Once you have feelings for someone, you will have a weak point. This will give your enemies chance to attack you." Qi Ling Hu lectured Song Yu.

"Grandfather, you meddled enough!" Song Yu said coldly, she looked at Qi Ling Hu with her amber eyes.

"If I don't, you will suffer the same things few years ago!" Qi Ling Hu yelled at Song Yu, seemingly losing his temper at his foolish granddaughter.

"I am not like last time, I will not fall for the wrong guy again." Song Yu said in a rather calm tone.

"Xiao Yue, I am doing this for your own good." Qi Ling Hu tried to explain to Song Yu.

"Grandfather, Gu Chen is different. I am not sure whether I like him or not, but I think I can trust him."

"Xiao Yue, you!" Qi Ling Hu was angry beyond words.

"Grandfather, you may be lucky the first time. But never the second, you can never touched Gu Chen." Song Yu threatened Qi Ling Hu.

"I Know, I don't intend to touch him. That Gu boy accident was not targeted at him, but to someone else. It was just unfortunate that the boy got injured."

"As if I will believe that, grandfather. I will not suffer like back then, I will show it to you." Song Yu looked at Qi Ling Hu determine.

Qi Ling Hu shook his head and resigned to his granddaughter, "Fine, I will not interfere with your decisions from now on. Do what you want, if anythings go wrong. Don't come and find grandfather if ever something went wrong. Hmph!" Qi Ling Hu sighed and turned away from Song Yu.

Though Qi Ling Hu may be a strict and ruthless man, he was still caring and doting towards Song Yu only. As Song Yu was the only granddaughter he had personally taken care of. Qi Ling Hu may be strict and stern towards Song Yu sometimes but he would become a childish grandfather afterwards.

Qi Ling Hu would only blame himself from taking care of the troublesome granddaughter, that was also why he would not want Song Yu to have special feelings for someone, to prevent from getting hurt or burden. Song Yu slightly laughed and said, "Alright Grandpa, let's not quarrel anymore. Let's go downstairs and eat dinner, I have a lot of things to tell you about the recent events that happen in Country Z." Song Yu coed her grandfather before pulling Qi Ling Hu out of the study room.

"Yea, you better update me about the recent events that happen in Country Z." Qi Ling Hu said in a gentle tone.

The servants would always shake their heads, whenever their old master and Young Miss acted childishly. As they could only see their childish old master, when the Young Miss is back. They will also be able to see their always cold and aloof Young Miss, became childish in front of Qi Ling Hu.
