When You Die You Become A Star

Ye Qing felt that she was being pushed into the light by the walls surrounding her but although the light became brighter it wasn't quite what she expected. It was as if her eyes were covered by a thin cloth and although she could tell that there was light she could neither make out the color nor the shape of whatever was making it. There were sounds coming from around her--seemingly from a group of people as she heard many voices. If they were actually voices then she couldn't understand a thing they were saying. There was even the sound of a woman that was in pain. Whatever was going on didn't seem normal to Ye Qing and for the first time in a while she felt a little afraid.

If the unknown light source and strange sounds weren't enough to drive Ye Qing to fear she could feel something strong grip on to what should be her head. She could feel something similar to fingers latch on to her skull--or what felt like her skull--and start pulling her but that was impossible; any being with fingers that large would need to be extremely massive. Although there was some pain it was nothing compared to the things she had felt in the past so she could still put up with it. With another pull on her head she could feel herself sliding out of that warm and dark place.

After leaving what seemed to be her home for the past while she could feel a giant lift her up and hear it say something. Judging by how deep the voice was it should be a male giant. Ye Qing worried that the giant might try eating her and tried to struggle against this captor of hers. There's no way she was going to let herself get eaten like that. Although she couldn't muster up that much strength she made a small roar and let out all of her current potential. "Waaaaaaah!" Kicking and punching felt sluggish but perhaps she could get lucky and land a hit on her enemy's weak point.

The giant quickly secured her arms and legs before she was passed off to another one. This time she was covered in some cloth-like material. It wasn't as rough as wool and linen but Ye Qing still found it uncomfortable when the giant started rubbing it against her. The way she was being treated, however, told Ye Qing that whatever these giants planned to do to her they definitely didn't want to kill her yet. During the time the giants were rubbing her skin with this mildly rough cloth there was one voice that kept saying something and Ye Qing was certain that they were speaking towards her. Maybe this is part of their plan to torture her so that they could gain information from her.

Shortly after being released from the torture she was brought to the arms of another giant. This one seemed more gentle towards her than the previous giants that handled her body so far but she wasn't going to be tricked. Whatever secrets they want to drag out of her will be brought to her grave! Although she could only guess that the previous giants were a male and a female based on their voices she was certain that this one was a female. Ye Qing was held against this giant's c.h.e.s.t and could feel a bouncy but supple surface beneath her. The soft voice was soothing Ye Qing and she felt like just listening to it would put her to sleep. {Not good! If I fall asleep then I definitely won't be able to escape from their grasp!}

In this moment Ye Qing gathered he strength once again and then opened her eyes. {I can seeee!} She felt like a flying lantern being caught in a strong breeze and plummeting back to the ground. {This entire time my eyes weren't open. Why couldn't I tell? Did they cast some sort of illusion spell on me?} Ye Qing couldn't feel any magic fluctuations which could only mean one thing. {These giants. Their magic is at a much higher level than mine.}

After the shock of her sight being returned to her she finally calmed her self down and looked around. Her neck didn't seem to want to work properly so she couldn't see the people that were interrogating her before but the gentle woman had colorful eyes and hair which couldn't be seen in Zhonghua. {Are these giants celestials? This one's appearance matches that of a deity that one of the minor sects worshiped.} That golden hair and blue eyes definitely looked intriguing but Ye Qing still preferred the black eyes and hair that the people of Daqin were known for.

Before Ye Qing could get a better look at this female giant she realized that something was wrong. She could see that it spoke past her to the ones behind her before hearing a single pair of footsteps and a soft bang. {There were at least two different giants behind me before this. That should have been one of them leaving this place just now and that bang was likely a door.} While being held with one of the giant's arms she noticed that the giant was using its other arm to pull at its clothes.

The giant undid the top to its strange robe--revealing a well-shaped b.r.e.a.s.t. This, of course, caused Ye Qing to cry tears of blood inside her heart when she was reminded of her own sorry bust. She could still remember that the first concubine her husband brought into the palace had large b.r.e.a.s.ts--no doubt because she was sorely lacking them. The giant brought Ye Qing's face closer to its exposed b.r.e.a.s.ts. {Ehhhh? What is it trying to do? I'm not into women! I'm already married! Stooop!}

The "giant" could not hear Ye Qing's internal monologue so of course she wouldn't stop. Even if she did hear the internal monologue it's still uncertain that she'd stop in the end. After all, a baby needs to drink its mother's milk.
