Whispers_Our Story

"Tracy!" he calls from the bathroom and I heard his footsteps approaching down the small hall, to my room...I ran inside, locked the door and leaned against it. Then came  a hard knock on the door. It almost knocked me down. 

"Tracy, open up, we need to talk, he yells from outside." Why have you been avoiding me? Did I do something wrong? 

"Go away, I say.

"Aryan Khan, he mutters.

"Aryan? you've got a strong name. I tell him. I already know that but it's lovely  to hear him say his name "Thanks for telling me" I add. 

*silence*

"Aryan, are you there?. I opened the door slowly, he isn't there. "When will you stop being a jerk. I hiss and close the door. I'm a little surprised. Aryan telling me his name. There is this part of him that is friendly and the other part that is rude. I mean he's been friendly at school. 

It's almost 8pm. I slip a big top over my head. Grab my books from the desk and laptop. I did some research and  heard the front door close. Aryan might be going out again. I need to see a movie to cool my head before going to bed. I logged into my Netflix account and click on a movie "To all the boys I've ever loved before. The movie was halfway to the end when I realized oh my phone my phone has not ring or even beep since.

"Why haven't I received any call from anyone. I took the phone from my bag. "My phone is on airplane mode" I gasped. when did I switch to that mode, probably during class. I switched it to normal mode and dialled mom's number. I know she might have been trying my number since.

"Tracy, I have been trying your number since and it's not connecting, what happened, are you sick? mom asks with an intake of breath. she is worried. "Mom, so sorry, my phone has been on airplane mode and I forgot...

"Are you alright, your dad and I have been worried sick here, mom says through the phone.

"I'm OK mom, don't worry too much, ok?.

"How was last night?, did you sleep well, she ask.

"Yeah, I did, I lie.

"Baby don't stress yourself too much and eat properly, you hear.. and before I forget, how are things going on there? mom asks.

"Everything is fine mom, don't worry yourself OK? I love you, I tell her.

" I love you too baby, will call you tomorrow ok?.

"Send my love to Dad.

"I will hon, bye baby.

"Bye mom. I resumed the movie and drift to sleep. I hope tomorrow will be great.
