Later that same night, Xiao Ji was hungry since she was also involved with the fight, so she decides to sneak into the servant kitchen. She found some hard biscuits, but Wang Hao Han also found the same thing. They both grabbed the bag at the same time. They fought for the food, both did not refuse the food to others.

Lin Qian thought of Xiao Ji's grumbling stomach, and wouldn't let go. Wang Hao Han thought of his good brothers having to suffer because of him so he wouldn't let go.

"You let go! Xiao Ji is waiting for some food."

"No, you let go! My good brothers are waiting for it!"

They both caused a huge commotion as they fought, they knock things over. Everyone was awakened by the noise. The head maid scolds them and asked them who put them to it.

"No one!" they both shouted at the same time which was a surprise for them both. The head maid having enough of them told them to kneel for the whole night. She cut their pay for a month and took the next day's dinner away from them.

The head maid then left to go back to sleep. Lin Qian's older sister came to make fun of her, while Xiao Ji could only look from afar. Lin Qian didn't care. "Stinky Apple," Wang Hao Han said as he stared at her.

She points at herself with a huge eye. "Stinky Apple! Me!"

"Yeah, you. Who else if not you?" Lin Qian held her anger in. She didn't want any more food nor money being taken away. Food has always been precious to her since she started to lose everything in her life. "You know I have thought that we are both similar."

Lin Qian scoffed, "Similar? You must be kidding me!"

Wang Hao Han also grabs her head and beat her up if she wasn't a girl. "Yes very similar. We don't want our good friends to get in trouble even if we get hurt for them. We are very loyal people, and will always protect them. So aren't we similar."

Lin Qian pondered about it for a bit. She then did a little nod no matter how much she hated having him to be right. He then smirks when she admitted that he was right. He then grabbed her wrist and ran out of the servant hall. The servant who was guarding the door was asleep.

"What are you doing?" she whispers in fear of having people noticed them.

He just smirks at her, "You will see!"

Lin Qian was a bit dumbfounded by the smirk he gave her so she didn't say anything more.

Lin Qian was now eleven years old while Wang Hao Han was twelve years old. In the past two years, they became good friends with each other. If Lin Qian gets bullied by her older sister then Wang Hao Han would come to save her. Wang Hao Han always skips out on his work to just come to see her. They always created quite a few problems.

They are always getting scold by the head maid however they always have each other so it isn't as painful as it is supposed to be. Lin Qian used to help out in the kitchen, but she was suddenly changed to do laundry. This was the head maid way of splitting these two up, but it didn't work. Wang Hao Han would still sneak out to go meet her.

"Stinky Apple!"

Lin Qian was beating the wet clothes was anger. She turns around to scream at Wang Hao Han. "Shut up you Stinky Plum!" Wang Hao Han has been calling her stinky apple, and she didn't like it so she called him stinky plum as well.

Wang Hao Han smirk at her, "Stinky apple let's go play."

Lin Qian returns to what she was doing. "I am busy. Go tell your good brothers to play with you." Lin Qian didn't want to be scolded again by the head maid. Every time she was with him we would always cause her endless trouble. She has less money than before, and even someday she would be starved.

Wang Hao Han grimaced before he sat down beside her. "My good brothers are too busy. They are scared to do more work than they already have. Only you are brave enough, and you are more fun than them. Let's go play instead. Stinky Apple!"

Lin Qian smack the clothes louder, and louder. She then stops when he shouted stinky apple. She glared at him. "Stop calling me that you stinky plum! If you don't leave then I will!" She got up and lost her balance as she was too fast.

Wang Hao Han tried to grab onto her, but he fails. So Lin Qian fell backward, and bump into the bucket of clean clothes. The clean clothes were spill all over the rocks. Wang Hao Han was trying to escape because he knew that Lin Qian was mad at him, "Heh, I still have lots of work left so I will return first."

Lin Qian was holding her anger in until he said that sentence. "Wang! Hao! HAN!!!"

Lin Qian had to redo her hard work. The other servant had finished their work and left. Lin Qian was alone with her work. She beat up all the clothes like it was Wang Hao Han.

"Stinky Apple you are not mad at me are you?"Wang Hao Han asked. He had returned just now and saw Lin Qian beating the clothes as if the opposite was someone she hated to death. He instantly felt something crawling up his body.

Lin Qian glared at him and decided not to talk to him. She was really mad at him. Wang Hao Han sigh and sat down beside her. He then took some of the wet clothes and started to beat it up with a laundry stick he found. "What are you doing?"

"I am helping you. I caused you to do your work again, so I will help you," he said as he started to beat the clothes. Lin Qian didn't say anything, but she was happy for his help.

When they were finished, the sun was almost down. Wang Hao Han was tried to the point where he couldn't even move no more. Lin Qian was also tried, so she lay beside him. They both look at each other for a second before they burst into laughter.

"Stinky Apple how do you do this work? It is so tiring, and hard. My back hurt so bad, and my hand hurt so bad!"Wang Hao Han was complaining.

Lin Qian only listen to him complain. She was already used to this hard work. Her back was always in pain, and her hand had a blister. She was so using it that the pain didn't bother her anymore. She stared at the stars in the sky while she listens to Wang Hao Han complained.

Wang Hao Han stops talking when Lin Qian was quiet. He looks at her and saw that she was sleeping. He was a little surprised at first, but then he smiles, "Have a good rest." He kisses her forehead. His face then turns red. He didn't realize what he was doing until after he did it. He kissed her!

Wang Hao Han wanted to leave, but couldn't leave her alone. He didn't know how to face her, so he didn't wake her up either. Wang Hao Han was in turmoil about what he should do when Lin Qian opens her eyes.

"You are so loud," Lin Qian said before she got up. She then started to walk away from him.

"Where are you going?"

"I am going to sleep! I am so tired. Are you going to sleep under the sky?"She asked him. Wang Hao Han was a little glad that Lin Qian didn't know what he did yet he was a little disappointed. Lin Qian was about to leave when she turns around.

"Wang Hao Han you also have a good rest," she said before she ran away. Wang Hao Han's face was red. He couldn't believe what he heard. Was she awake the whole time?! His face returns to being red. Does this mean that she also likes him since she didn't reject his kiss?

Lin Qian had run away because she was embarrassed. She was tired so she only closed her eyes when Wang Hao Han kiss her forehead. She was at a loss for what to do until she heard him talking to himself. She thought he was an idiot. So she decides to wake up however she wanted to make repay him for what happened earlier so she says the sentence he told her.

She ran away because was just as embarrassed as he was. Her face was red, and she heating up from the inside. Her heart was racing as if it would pop out of her body. Why does she feel this way?
