Anyways, as I've said before, there's no point getting mad over 0.003 gap. You could still suck this wolf's remaining blood and max out the constitution skill, getting a Constitution stat over the needed requirement. Not only that, it would also allow you to obtain tons of blood points for upgrading and a greatly upgraded skill from that black wolf!

Now what do you say me, are you going to suck that black wolf's blood or not?

Well...even if I say no, I'd still suck it since it's a waste of precious blood. But before I do so...

Holy shit. That was a close call, a very close call. Wait...why am I worrying about a close to maxed out storage? I could just spend these points and upgrade some stuff and then my storage would be free again.

Well, the question now is, what should I upgrade? Should I upgrade my blood s.u.c.k.i.n.g efficiency? Nah, I've already upgraded it by a decent amount.

How about my storage? I could opt to upgrade my main storage and it would probably just use up around 200 points or so, but it would only give me over 10 additional points of storage. If I chose to upgrade my second storage instead, I would obtain 100 additional points of storage, but that would cost 400 points of hard-earned blood.

Hmm...what would give me great satisfaction when upgrading something using my hard-earned blood points?

Ah. I think I know what I should upgrade. I've somewhat forgot about it since I escaped from that 2nd evolution tier bear, but I'm pretty sure I could upgrade a few parts from that part of the system.

"Body Refinement!" I shouted in my mind. Man, it definitely has been quite a while since I've upgraded something from this part. Well, if you consider a few hours to be quite a while, then it probably is. For someone like me, who has only been a mosquito for like what? Two days? Then a few hours has definitely been a long while for me.

Tsss...holy heck. No cursing this time, but man is that a lot of points per part. Well... it'd be worse if my physique was at a very high level. I'm very sure that a thousand points of blood wouldn't even be enough to upgrade a part at that kind of level. I'd probably need like tens of thousands of points if that happened, but thankfully, each part only costs 125 points each. For now, that is.

And with that, I only have like 50 or so points of blood left in my storage. Man, I feel like I spent a ton of money on something useless. Of course, upgrading my physique ain't useless, but with me only doing incremental upgrades, I don't really feel the effect that much.

Anyways, with my storage cleared out, it's time to suck up the precious blood from this rare wolf I killed. To be honest, I might just become more addicted to killing before s.u.c.k.i.n.g rather than s.u.c.k.i.n.g from the start. The feeling of doing creative kills gives me some great satisfaction.

As I feel the black wolf's blood course through my proboscis and towards my incredibly large stomach, which isn't proportional to my body size thanks to the system, I could not help but think that my proboscis is a straw and the living beings I'm s.u.c.k.i.n.g blood out of are like coconuts. And then, the blood is like sweet coconut juice that gives me great satisfaction and refreshment when being slurped.

Of course, the notifications don't just stop there. Since I've maxed out the Black Shroud Wolf's constitution skill, which is also a mouthful to say to be honest, it was quite natural for me to obtain...

Although I definitely want to say yes to this question, I could not help but take a glance at the black wolf's corpse and notice that there was still quite a sizeable amount of blood inside it. I kept the awakening on hold for a bit as I used the blood I s.u.c.k.e.d to upgrade the remaining parts of my body that weren't upgraded yet to the first level.

And with that, all of my parts are now at the first level for my current physique. I took a look at the point requirement needed to upgrade a part to the max level for the physique and let me tell you, it's quite a sizeable increase. I could fork out 200 points no problem, but fork it out 6 times...and then possibly an additional 500 points on top of that? Nope, not for now. I'm gonna put it on hold if that's the case.

Anyways, my storage has been cleared for the most part one more time, allowing me to suck the remaining blood from the black wolf's corpse. It amounted to around 120 points, when added with the previous 380 points or so, adds up to 500 points of blood from that single black wolf. Well then, if that's the case, then how much blood would a bear at the 2nd evolution tier hold? Surely it would be more than a bear at the 1st evolution tier, right?

But before I go off topic one more time, let me awaken to the second tier real quick.

Not long after I confirmed that I would be awakening my bloodline to the second tier, a holographic screen appeared in front of my field of vision, giving me three bloodline choices to choose from. Also, from the name of these bloodlines alone, it seems that these bloodlines are a sort of rare variant of my current bloodline.

Well...with a sign like that, how could I not choose it? Either way, the description of the Nihility Cherubim Mosquito is a few notches better than either the Void Shroud or the Nebulous Fang Mosquito. I don't mind being an all-rounder, but the fact that this bloodline can allow me to control qi is enough for me to choose it.

Well, if I think about it, doesn't Nihility Cherubim sound better than Void Shroud or Nebulous Fang? For me, it sure does.

As usual, a dark energy that came out of nowhere gradually enveloped my body, which then gave my exterior a bit of warmth. Quite weird if you'd think about it, but the dark energy is already weird enough.

Of course, the process of transitioning into a stronger bloodline isn't really painful, but instead, it feels weird since there's only a dull feeling when something's added, morphed, or even possibly removed.

The first change that the dark energy has brought to my body is that my limbs and torso have more heft to them than before. The fact that they're quite sharp at the end hasn't changed though.

As for my head, it kept that aerodynamic look, but something was added to the top of my head, just a bit above my eyes. If I'm seeing it correctly, then it's a white dot. I don't know what it does, but aesthetically, it looks pretty cool.

The dark energy then affected my wings, increasing them from two wings to four wings, two wings on each side. I wonder if that would allow me to fly faster, I'll have to check.

Of course, the final change on my body is internal. The black lump that was behind my heart had grown by a decent size, allowing me to feel a faint connection with the energy of space and darkness to be honest. But that wasn't the biggest change at all.

After increasing the size of this black lump, all of the remaining dark energy surrounding my body had been absorbed by my body as I could hear multiple pops all throughout my body as I could see what was happening within my body through my system.

What the dark energy was doing was that it was opening up like small spaces all throughout my body, with a few being bigger than some, giving me a feeling that these bigger spaces have some sort of importance. Well, not only that, these spaces were then connected as one through a method I couldn't fully wrap my head around.

Anyways, I have a feeling that these spaces are meridians, these staple organs found when cultivating qi. Does that mean that I have a lot of meridians? Do humans in this world also have a lot of meridians? I'm quite close to truly unlocking cultivation, so I might just find out soon enough.
