The fish finally had submitted to their death and the movement of the net and the rocking of the boat caused by the fish ceased. The only movement of the boat was caused by the fisherman moving and the waves in the sea pushing the boat gently. He sat down and started humming the tune of "The Song Of Seikilos"(A famous song performed in the city-state). He then, grabbed the rows and put them under the water, still holding on. He gently pushed them back and forth throughout the water.

The wooden rows cracks filled and refilled with water as they were pushed up and down, in, and out of the wet depths. When they would be thrusted upward then down wards, splashes of water would fling outwards. The waves that were somewhat calmer before were now going back and forth near the rows, then easing out as it came away from the rows.

The boat, slowly, but surely, was moving in a curve to face the other way. The fisherman was already sweating as this was tiring work. He was finally facing opposite of the fishing spot and could row straight once more to his home. He continued rowing further out closer to the land. As he came closer to the land he could see his home and his neighbors. His neighbor was only now going out to fish. Αἴσωπος (Aesop) was always late for fishing. He was in his older ages and had a good for nothing wife. She wouldn't do her duties as she should. The man was always unhappy with her as he was always late because they had arguments each day. She didn't even seem to ever sacrifice or pray for Zeus, nor the other gods. Truly a sorry marriage. Probably why he never gets a good load of fish. The gods hate her and as a hand. Her punishment affects him too. He thought.

He was by the docks now and steadied his boat by the bridge. The docks were wooden and had just, newly had it's wood replaced. He stood and balanced himself. Then, he moved the fish over by were he was sitting before forward, curve grabbed a rope that had been hidden under his fish net. He wrapped the end of the rope to one leg of four that was attached to the docks. He wrapped the other end to one of the heightened edges at the beginning and end of the boat.
