'The ones in charge of the dungeons at Headquarters have contracts with a bunch of different demonic beasts, some even contract demonic beasts of an exclusive race. Meaning all their contracted demonic beasts are of that race. It's not the most efficient but... like they all say, recluses are fuċkɨnġ weird.' Naturally, even the demonic beasts under contracts get decent treatment at Yaodu though perhaps not as well as the ones deemed as their protectors.

"Vampiric Bats this time? It's been a bunch of troublesome insects one after another since we entered here. Is there really anything of worth here in this place?" Many were still agitated from the Devil's Cradle formation and were trying to find ways to vent.

This wouldn't be a big problem usually, but there were a lot of people that had yet to reach Gold Core level.

"There really are an awfully lot of flying types here, huh?" Shen Tianyu's eyes twitched as their previous encounters flashed through her mind.

'Should I just kill them all with the fire power from my space? It's not like there's anyone else here...'

"Miss, what should we do?" Tianhao asked for her orders, while Rong Jian's subordinates already had their weapons at the ready.

"There seems to be a lot of them. If we tried fighting them, the casualties will probably be very high. I'll deal with them." Perhaps fired up after seeing her partner work for so long, Shen Tianyu also wanted to strut her stuff a little.

"Miss will? Are you sure?" Tianhao's face showed obvious concern. Her cultivation level wasn't really a secret and she had never to keep it as such so he was well aware her level was below his. She might be able to whittle them down with her bombs but she also mentioned that she was out before. It wasn't like she didn't have other throwing weapons but their range and effectiveness were sorely lacking in comparison to her bombs. In addition, because some materials for those throwing weapons were rare, she had a habit of collecting them once things were done despite being the leader of the organization now and could squander their savings as she liked. That would be time consuming especially if she ran out in the middle of dealing with the Vampiric Bats.

"Don't worry. I can handle this. I wouldn't volunteer if I was unsure. I'm the leader, the King, after all. If something were to happen to me, the organization would be thrown into chaos." Shen Tianyu waved away his concerns.

'Well, as long as the elders and older members are still there, they'll recover quickly even if something did happen to me.'

"Alright..." Tianhao stepped further back and lowered his weapon but she could tell he still had his guard up.

Shen Tianyu stepped in front of the group, a little distance from them, and faced the approaching Vampiric Bats. Though she could not understand them, she could feel their hostility and hunger. Eyes are the window to the soul after all, even in non-humans.

She calmed her breathing and closed her eyes. The first time she had used that flame, inside the formation, she had done it in a rush so she didn't get the time to really get used to how it worked. Without entering her space, she sent her consciousness into her space and felt around for the flaming realm. As she stood in the middle of it, she focused her attention and, again, tried to feel where that green flame was roaming. It seemed to sense she was looking for it as it almost immediately appeared in front of her consciousness. She then reached out and touched it. Her physical body, too, extended its hands with the palm facing upward. When her consciousness touched the green flame, she could feel her mind being suċkėd back into her body. When she opened her eyes, there was green fire, sitting obediently in the palm of her hand, its flames flickering lazily.

She was famous and wanted to observe it a bit more and do some experiments but now wasn't the time. She lifted her head to see her swarm of enemies not far from her now, some in the front were even about to descend on her. Without any flourishing, she threw the green fireball at the bats in the front. As she had wanted, the green fire exploded, causing direct damage on the Vampiric Bats at the front. Due to the fire, some of the flames even flew elsewhere and landed on other bats to the side of behind. As soon as it touched hair or skin, it immediately ignited. She could see the bats frantically flying about and waving their wings, trying to run away or put out the fire but it only steadily grew bigger and bigger until it consumed the entire bat. The Vampiric Bat continued to screech a horrid cry as it was burned alive. When the fire fell to the ground, not even ashes were left. However, since it was ever-burning, the ground that it touched began to go up in flames as well despite not having any flammable elements.

This was within her expectations, though, as Shen Tianyu waved her hand at the fire and it immediately disappeared, as if everything was just an illusion with only the scorch marks left to tell of its existence.

She threw fireball one after another and extinguished the flames that fell on the ground as they came. What was beneficial was that this bȧrėly used spiritual power so she wasn't the slightest bit tired. Compared with coating one's sword with spiritual power, this technique was like a single drop of water in a vast lake. And unlike arrows and other of her throwing weapons, she didn't need to aim too seriously, though its also to the merit of the Vampiric Bats for coming in droves. The damage it caused was also on another scale. She just needed to throw them at a mass of bats and it would immediately cause harm to at least twenty of them.. If she had to say, the effects were even better than her bombs since the shrapnel from them couldn't always kill her opponents, but the flames guaranteed a kill as long as it landed, even at a nonvital spot.
