Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

For a good one minute, no one could properly absorb Matthew Xi's introduction. It was short, yet powerful enough to render everyone speechless. 

The only person who wasn't surprised by it was Zoey. However, she too was rendered speechless at how amusing their reaction was. 

"Hey, did he say he's Matthew Xi of Xi Corporation?" 

"No, I think he said he is Mr. Xi of the Xi Corporation..." Still in daze, one young master muttered mindlessly as Matthew Xi's voice rang in his head repeatedly. 

"I think he heard my comment earlier, what should I do?" Another lady panicked, recalling the insults she spouted to spite Zoey earlier. 

"Do you think he heard me too?" Beside the woman, another one panicked as her entire body shuddered. They were all aware of the unspoken rule of not offending those who were above, but they still did because they never reached that level where they could meet such a person who resided on the top of the upper echelon. 

"Xi...Xi Matthew... the legendary man of the Xi Family... he is..." 

"Ah... did you say you're Mr. Xi...?" Shocked, speechless, scared, and emotions that weren't healthy for his fragile heart, Professor Ernest Meng stuttered as beads of sweats formed on his back. 

Here he was, displeased at how Matthew Xi looked at him when Matthew Xi was indeed superior. No wonder Matthew Xi made him wait just to introduce himself because it was not healthy for him. 

Meanwhile, Matthew Xi just stared at the surprised old man. Professor Meng's reaction was no surprise for him. He had seen many such frightful reactions countless times, making it a normal occurrence for him. 

There was only one person who didn't share the same reaction and even misunderstood it. That person was Zoey, the woman standing next to him while holding her laughter in. 

Taking a glimpse of her reaction, Matthew Xi said nothing further as he knew she would not hold her laughter for long. 'She must find it amusing,' he thought internally, causing the side of his lips to curl a little bit upwards. 

"Hahaha!" Matthew Xi's prediction was correct. Zoey could not hold her laughter for that long as she burst out laughing, breaking the silence in the hall. 

"Ah? Why is she laughing?" As Zoey laughed, confused murmurs from the shocked crowd resonated along with her evil laughters. 

"Hay, hay," Wiping the tears in the corner of her eyes, Zoey waved her hand weakly. "This prank is too much... I can't — hihihi!" In between her batch of chuckles, Zoey shook her head sideways as she held her stomach. 

"Prank...?" Professor Meng, lost in confusion, turned to Zoey. His complexion paled, as if he lost all his red blood cells in an instant. 

"Ay, ay, he is indeed Xi Matthew, but not that Xi Matthew you think." When Zoey slightly recovered from her fun, she briefly explained that caused another silence. 

"Not that Xi Matthew...? Miss Zhou, what are you saying?" Still puzzled at Zoey's words, Professor Meng inquired for clarity. He and everyone else heard that he was from the Xi Corporation. 

Hence, there's only one Matthew Xi in the Xi Corporation. What was she talking about? 

"The literal meaning. My darling just happens to have the same name as the owner of that giant company. No need to fret, he's harmless!" Giving the simplified form of explanation, Zoey said with a bright smile. 

At that moment, the reactions they gave her were priceless. If she could return the time, she would want to see their reactions once again. Just like that, Zoey proved that her decision for their first date's location was perfect!

No, actually, it exceeded her expectations. It was more than perfect. They could even leave now. 

"Ah... haha. Miss Zhou, can you come here for a second?" Nodding his head in disbelief, Professor Meng heaved a sigh as he gestured Zoey to come over. 

"Eh?" Clueless, Zoey slowly abided the old man and walked closer to him. However, the moment she was within his reach, he smacked her over her head. 

"Ouch!" Zoey rubbed the part where he knocked her head with a frown. Although not that painful as he controlled his strength, it still stung a little. 

"How can you surprise me like that, you little girl!" Fuming, Professor Meng scolded. "I nearly had a stroke or a heart attack!" He added, steam bursting from his nose. 

'How dare you...' Matthew Xi whispered in his mind, staring at Professor Meng who hurt Zoey under his watch? 

Matthew Xi was fine with the misunderstanding if it would satisfy Zoey. However, he was displeased that someone harmed Zoey right in front of him. 

Everyone, including Zoey, was unaware that Matthew Xi remembered Zoid Solution Inc and the old man's full name. He would surely make things clear to this man in the future.

"So, he's not the real Xi Matthew...?"

"I see... I knew it! Such a legendary man wouldn't fall for such a low class woman! Haha!"

"That vixen really got me! I hate her! Such a hateful personality!" One after another, when the explanation finally struck them, the crowd heaved a sigh of relief. However, their dislike towards Zoey just intensified. 

'Oy, oy, what's going on?' On the other hand, Richard Sun who knew full well of the truth was confused. He knew that man was the real deal, but Zoey said he wasn't. 

Just what was going on? Why would Zoey hide the fact that he's Matthew Xi? She could easily take advantage of everyone if they knew that her backup was not someone to mess with. 

Richard Sun's gaze slowly shifted from Zoey and Professor Meng to Matthew Xi. At the same time, Matthew Xi glanced back at him, causing Richard Sun to take a step back. 

Just one glance, Richard Sun couldn't mistake this familiar intimidating presence of Matthew Xi. Richard Sun saw him slightly shake his head, as if telling him not to speak a word and keep what he knew to himself. 

Only that man could give such a scare to him. Even without words, Richard Sun could understand the command of the king since he already met him in person — even dine with him.. These people wouldn't understand the pressure that was cast upon him.
