Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

"If you need any help, just contact me directly." Ezekiel Tang generously added, glancing at his associates with a smile. 

"If ever you don't want Mr. Tang to boss you around, you can also contact me." Humoring the cluster of men in tux, one man that seemed to be in his late twenties, gave out his card. "I'm sorry, Mr. Tang. I just thought my agency can make him a popular model!" He added, chuckling at his harmless joke. 

"Well, I don't mind. It's still Mr. Xi's decision in the end." Ezekiel Tang shrugged his shoulders, taking no offense from the harmless joke. "I'm just glad we got to meet such a man through Miss Zhou. Surely, Mr. Xi is lucky being entangled by a remarkable businesswoman." He grinned, altering his gaze from Matthew Xi to Zoey. 

"Mr. Tang, are you insulting me?" Arching her brows, Zoey set her sharp orbs straight at Ezekiel Tang's gentle front. 

"Miss Zhou, I don't recall insulting you." Feigning innocent, Ezekiel Tang furrowed his brows as he turned to his friends. 

"Miss Zhou, I think you had enough drinks and you're hearing things." The gentleman who gave his card to Matthew Xi chimed in out of confusion. 

Of course, they were well-aware of what she was talking about. After all, Matthew Xi, who was only riding on the woman's success and connections, was not someone to be respected. 

Sure, Zoey was a remarkable businesswoman — that's something they couldn't ignore. However, for a man, it would be a shame to be protected and use a woman's influence and success to enter a world he shouldn't. 

Meanwhile, Matthew Xi glanced at Zoey's side profile. He could not help but think their roles were irreversible. Why did he feel like a damsel in distress throughout the night? 

For pete's sake! He doesn't mind whatever makes these people happy. Be it discriminating against him or indirectly insulting his 'status', Matthew Xi didn't care what inflated their egos. 

He just wanted to have a peaceful date! That's all! Hence, the silence and him being the pushover all for them to scoot away. 

'This woman... why are you interrupting my plans...?' Matthew Xi thought inwardly. Now, this conversation would just prolong and they would have to stay a little longer. 

Matthew Xi felt like massaging his temples. Alas, he was reminded of a certain someone's presence: Richard Sun! Glancing at the man's direction, Richard Sun gulped upon meeting Matthew Xi's gaze. 

He had been trying to shrink his presence and just be a shadow. Why must Matthew Xi search for him again?!

'Young Master Xi, please let me off! Just take her home so I can also rest!' He wept internally, sensing that he needed to intervene and boast to the best of his abilities. 

"Gentleman, I appreciate that you see my date's potential. However, I lack tact to understand your latter crap. So, I can only take offense if I misinterpret." Zoey sighed as she smiled, shaking her head as she turned to the young CEO of a big agency. "Since we are talking about our status and influence, why don't we test it, Mr. Lai?" Zoey suggested, the corner of her lips bent into a smirk. 

"Miss Zhou, aren't you misinterpreting our kind gesture a little too off track?" Weston Lai, the chief executive officer of GEM entertainment scoffed at Zoey's sudden challenge. 

However, a glint of reluctance flickered across his eyes. Although it was his first time meeting Zoey in person, he had heard about her infamous name as he was in such an industry. He had heard rumors about Zoey Zhou dating superstars and even her court battles with Richard Sun. 

After all, Weston Lai researched extensively about the guests tonight. There, he had stumbled upon an interesting information about the hotshot Richard Sun and his strange relationship with Zoey whom he was surprised to see tonight. 

Therefore, he found this party more interesting with the two's presence. However, unlike how the rumors says, Richard Sun and Zoey seemed to be in a more friendly relationship. 

That was more reason Weston Lai had for having second thoughts accepting Zoey's dare. If she had won cases against Richard Sun, she must have a trick up her sleeve to have such confidence to provoke him. 

"Like I said, I lack tact to understand your kind gestures because I see them as you belittling my darling right in front of me." Zoey answered, shrugging her shoulders as she repeated her words.

"Mr. Lai, I heard your inclination in gambling... Why don't we gamble tonight? Let's put our company at stake, what do you think?" Zoey twirled the wine in her hand gently, inciting something interesting all the while hinting Weston Lai of her knowledge about his gambling addiction. 

Upon hearing her remarks, Weston Lai's smile gradually faded away as he stared at Zoey intently. He didn't expect that from her. After all, he has been rehabilitating after nearly losing his own agency because of his addiction in gambling. 

Fortunately, Ezekiel Tang helped him get back on track. Therefore, it was safe to say that Weston Lai's agency was slowly recovering. 

"Z," Displeased at Zoey's remarks, Ezekiel Tang called her in a warning tone. "Gentlemen, Miss Zhou is just a straightforward person and likes to tease. I hope you won't take it to your heart… for me." After peering at Zoey, Ezekiel Tang put on a smile as he turned towards his friends. 

"Oh no, if I were you, I'd take it personally." In contrast to Ezekiel Tang's reasoning, Zoey shook her head. She has her own mouth and mind to speak her thoughts. 

She wasn't kidding when she said she'd take offense. After all, they'd slowly ticked her off by hounding on Matthew Xi. 

Zoey would be more understanding if they'd targeted her. However, they chose to set their eyes on her Browny. Only Zoey can have her eyes on him — not them. 

"Z!" Clenching his teeth, Ezekiel Tang exclaimed. Without a thought in mind, Ezekiel Tang was about to grab her wrist to teach her a lesson. 

However, just before he could, another large hand stopped him. "Mr. Tang, a lot of people are watching." Richard Sun reminded him, bearing a cold warning tone. 

Matthew Xi arched his brows as Richard Sun's reflexes were faster than him. Even Zoey was taken aback as she didn't expect this mama's boy to intervene. 

'Stupid Zeke! This stupid boy! Don't touch her! Just don't touch anything that Matthew Xi touches! He hates it! Damn it!' Unlike how composed Richard Sun was on the surface, his internal thoughts were in a turmoil as he cursed Ezekiel 'stupid boy' Tang for pushing his luck too far.
