"Mom, I have to check on the cars I bought — I mean, big brother Matt purchased last week! He says he'll give me one, so..." Enzo Li complained the moment he entered his parent's residence. 

However, his words trailed off upon laying his eyes on the sophisticated Vivian Xi. "Auntie," sounding awkward, Enzo Li bit his tongue as he courteously trudged towards the set of exquisite sofas and bowed his head. 

"Little Enzo, I see you're as dashing as ever. No wonder your fans are going crazy over you." Offering a meek smile, Vivian Xi placed down her cup of tea on the saucer and glanced at the tall Enzo Li. 

"Sister Vivian, our son can't compare to Young Master." Mother Li chimed in, chuckling while Enzo Li frowned at another comparison with Matthew Xi. 

Well, Enzo Li was used to it by now. Actually, he was already numb by the constant comparison throughout the years. After all, they often compared all men in the Xi Clan with the head of the clan. 

Therefore, it fueled all men in their family to strive harder and excel in their fields. It wasn't just men but also women in the Xi Family had strict rules to follow as well. 

"Emma, how can you say that in front of your son?" Vivian Xi arched her brow, displeased at the comparison that was supposed to please her. "Even if it's true, I don't think it is appropriate to compare one's own children with others. After all, little Enzo is one of the top paid actors in his generation. Even Matthew commends his achievements." Vivian Xi added, glancing at Enzo Li and winked her eye. 

Enzo Li smiled, seeing the knowing look from his auntie. One of the reasons Enzo Li didn't bear any hidden grudge towards Matthew Xi and Vivian Xi was because they were kind and understanding people. 

It was not their fault that Matthew Xi was being the role model in their clan. After all, he deserved the title and position. 

Emma Li pursed her lips into a thin line as she hung her head low. "Forgive me, Sister Vivian." 

"No, no. You don't have to apologize to me but to Little Enzo." Shaking her head, Vivian Xi sighed as this wife of her cousin still didn't know Vivian Xi's preferences. 

She could not blame her, though. After all, Vivian Xi rarely visited their manor. 

"It's fine, Aunty. I'm sure Mother didn't mean it like that." Despite the fact that Enzo Li hated that his mother often compared him to Matthew Xi, Emma Li was still his mother. Thus, he didn't want this to get out of hand. 

Vivian Xi studied Enzo Li's dashing yet humble mien and sighed. "Little Enzo, you're so precious. No wonder my Matthew is so fond of you!" She said, shaking her head. 

"Auntie, do you need something from me?" Still bearing a meek smile, Enzo Li diverted the subject as he slowly perched on the sofa opposite Emma Li and turned to Vivian Xi who was on the head seat. 

Although Enzo Li got a sudden call that didn't give him a thorough detail aside from him being needed to be present at home, he somehow got the gist that it was from Vivian Xi. Well, they wouldn't nag him to come back home if it's not Vivian Xi's request. 

"Yes!" Vivian Xi's eyes flashed in delight, reminded of the reason behind the sudden visit. "Emma, will you give me a moment to chat with little Enzo?" However, Vivian Xi didn't speak about it immediately as she turned to Emma Li. 

"Yes, of course!" Darting her gaze from Vivian Xi to Enzo Li, Emma Li smiled and slowly scooted away. 

Enzo Li watched his proud mother act like an obedient lady. For some reason, he felt bad for her. 

However, they were part of the Xi Family. This was only a normal courtesy before the main family. After all, they wouldn't live in luxury and stand on top of the upper echelon if not because of their wealth and influence. 

When Emma Li was gone, Vivian Xi slowly shifted her gaze back to Enzo Li. "Zhou Zoey," that single name she dropped, Enzo Li's shoulder stiffened as sweat broke out on his back and forehead. 

"I heard you know her. Are you the one responsible for Miss Zhou and Matthew's meeting?" The corner of Vivian Xi's lips curled up into a smile, waiting for Enzo Li's response. 

Alas, unlike her good intentions, Enzo Li had a different take on her interests. In his perspective, Vivian Xi was displeased about Zoey and Matthew Xi's affair! After all, Zoey was crazy... no, aside from that, Zoey's current standing couldn't par with Vivian Xi's qualification for her daughter-in-law!

"No!" Shaking his head profusely, Enzo Li gulped a mouthful of saliva. "I mean, I do know Zoey, I just discovered about it last night! I was shocked!" He affirmed, panicking at his current thoughts. 

"Auntie, although Zoey is like that, she's a very, very kind woman!" Enzo Li nearly choked at describing Zoey. Alas, he would rather lie and sprinkle perfume on her name than badmouthing her in front of Vivian Xi. 

"Haha," Chuckling, Vivian Xi covered her lips by the back of her hand as she lightly shook her head. "I know she's interesting. I talked to her the other night. Alas, it seemed she had too many drinks that night."

Upon hearing Vivian Xi's last remarks, the side of Enzo Li's lips twitched. 'Damn that woman...! How can she ruin her image that instant?!' He grumbled inwardly. 

Knowing Zoey, she must have sprouted pure crap while being intoxicated. Little did he know, Zoey spoke nothing that would displease Vivian Xi. 

In reality, she unconsciously crept her way into Vivian Xi's good graces. Moreover, the fact that Matthew Xi had interest in a woman was enough to make Vivian Xi not care if she came from the slums. 

"So, they were still together last night?" Nodding her head, pleased at the news, Vivian Xi raised her bright visage. "Both of them are working hard, huh?" She whispered, which made Enzo Li knit his brows. 

"Anyway, since you're Miss Zhou's friend, why don't you arrange us a meeting?" Ignoring Enzo Li's confused front, Vivian Xi proposed. However, Enzo Li's conflicted expression made her arch her brows. "You don't want to?" She asked. 

"Err... Auntie," Scratching the back of his head, Enzo Li pondered how he should put it. "The thing is, Zoey is unaware that Big Brother Matt is the Matthew Xi of XI Corps." Enzo Li sucked his teeth, deciding to relay the dilemma of Vivian Xi's request. 

"Huh? What do you mean?" Creasing her brows, Vivian Xi perked her chin up as she waited for his elaboration. 

"Auntie, I don't know the details but Zoey misunderstood big bro's identity. In other words, she knows him as a simple salary man." Through his gritted teeth, Enzo Li heaved a deep exhale as he had to pretend he didn't know Matthew Xi. 

"Oh...?" Although there was no clarity in Enzo Li's explanation, Vivian Xi smirked in amusement as she chuckled. "This is interesting, indeed. No wonder Matthew is adamant to stop my meddling.." She added, a glint of mischief flashed across her eyes.
