Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

"Professor Meng!" From the corner of his eyes, Richard Sun noticed a familiar figure whom he didn't expect to see tonight: Ernest Meng of Zoid Solutions Inc. 

"Young master Sun!" Turning his attention to a familiar voice, Professor Meng shifted his gaze to the men that were with Richard Sun. 

As soon as Professor Meng laid his eyes on Senator Wang, he instinctively bowed his head in respect to a respectable senator back home. Ernest Meng knew no one in here, but needed to attend as he was invited by the XI Corporation who until now made him wonder why. 

Richard Sun excused himself first before heading towards Professor Meng. He then dragged him back to his new circle of friends as he wanted to introduce Professor Meng to them. 

Why? Richard Sun's intention was not out of goodwill. If he had another option, he would rather hog all this glory all for himself. However, the second Richard Sun saw this old man here, he automatically thought he was invited because Zoey was close to him. 

Therefore, this was his way to add his brownie points to Matthew Xi. If they knew that Richard Sun had accommodated Zoey's one and only friend around, he would surely get rewarded! 

Smart. Good thing Richard Sun had come to know Matthew Xi's secret. 

"Senator Wang, Atty. Xi, Gentlemen, this is Professor Meng, a good friend of mine." Clearing his throat, Richard Sun confidently introduced as he got comfortable after interacting with them. 

"Good evening, gentlemen. My surname is Meng, Ernest Meng of Zoid Solution Inc." Introducing himself properly, Professor Meng bowed his head as he felt rather overwhelmed before these men. 

More than that, Professor Meng was more in awe as he couldn't expect less from Xi Family's guests. After all, the Xi Family had been the wealthiest family for generations. Therefore, their circle of friends were not just anyone. 

Even the few celebrities that were invited were either veterans, or superstars. Therefore, Professor Meng couldn't even think of anyone he could afford to offend or rather, he couldn't even think of acting all high and mighty. 

This was just a whole new different level and for some reason, he was invited here. Good thing, Richard Sun seemed to be friendlier than ever and actually introduced him to these men. 

"Zoid Solution? The investment company?" One men rubbed his chin as he wondered where he heard that small time company before. 

Well, it was only natural for businesses like them to know competitors — small time or not. After all, the world is round and any time, a small company could boom and topple all big companies in the business. 

"Yes!" Glad that one of the biggest investment companies knew Zoid Solution, Professor Meng felt thrilled. 

Just getting known by this man, he felt a strong sense of excitement towards the man. It was akin to a celebrity remembering a fan. 

"I see." Nodding in satisfaction, the old man smiled. "I heard a lot of things about Zoid Solution and can tell it has so much potential, I commend." The man added, tilting his glass of wine as he complimented the company that was slowly but surely progressing for years. 

"Hehe. Thank you, it's an honor to receive such flattering comments from Mr. Huang." Watching his manner, Professor Meng responded. 

With that being said, Professor Meng easily mingled with them with his humble and wise personality. They asked about his business, curious about it as he received a good word from CEO Huang.

Meanwhile, Ezekiel Tang was being introduced to a bunch of young masters that Enzo Li was acquaintances with. However, despite their family backings those young masters had behind their names, they were not the people Ezekiel Tang wanted to hang around with. 

Glancing at the direction Richard Sun was, Ezekiel Tang's eyes glinted upon seeing Professor Meng in the same circle. 

'He's doing it on purpose.' Ezekiel Tang hissed as he glared daggers at Richard Sun. He knew that Richard Sun saw him earlier, but averted his gaze away as he pretended he didn't see him. 

Was this because of their previous mild argument back in his engagement party? It must be.

Little did Ezekiel Tang know, Richard Sun was ignoring on purpose because of one simple reason: he didn't want to get inflicted if Matthew Xi decided to pass his judgement onto Zoey's ex-lover. 

"Mr. Tang?" Enzo Li called out, blinking his eyes as he caught Ezekiel Tang's deathly glare at the circle of remarkable men. 

Although Enzo Li could introduce Ezekiel Tang with those people, he'd rather not. After all, Enzo Li hadn't forgotten how Zoey cried for this stupid guy whom she chose over him on many occasions in the past. 

Therefore, Enzo Li purposely introduced him to all good-for-nothings who were lucky to attend and redeem their precious life by making connections with the guests around. In other words, these young masters were just as hungry as Ezekiel Tang and wouldn't waste their time befriending a nobody like him. 

"Yes?" Snapping from his scheming plots, Ezekiel Tang returned his focus on Enzo Li and forced a smile. 

"I said I'll be leaving you here first. I need to escort my cousin because the event is starting." Informing Ezekiel Tang that he would leave him with these young masters, Enzo Li smiled as he was pleased at the deprivation he gave to Ezekiel Tang. 

"Mr. Li, is Mr. Xi coming?" Just as he nodded his head, Ezekiel Tang immediately asked as Vivian Xi told his mother she would introduce him to Matthew Xi. 

Well, if these men haven't acknowledged his existence yet, that doesn't matter. After all, just like what his mother said, everyone would bow down to him if he becomes friends with Matthew Xi. 

"I assume he has already arrived." Enzo Li smiled, yet it didn't reach his eyes. This sudden realization about Matthew Xi and Zoey attending tonight's event made him consider that his actions just now were all for naught. 

"Mr. Tang, I hope you enjoy your time tonight.." Staring straight at Ezekiel Tang, Enzo Li bore the same smile before he bid his second farewell.
