Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

The day went by at its usual pace. Zoey was working nonstop and blowing flames at the problems she returned to from her honeymoon, while Matthew Xi finished his work like usual after his brief visit at Kwan General Hospital. 

All tension from earlier that day was eventually forgotten — thanks to their pile of workloads. But, their hearts longed for each other's embrace which was a satisfying feeling to look forward to. 

They could finally think of going home to someone, and not spending the night with extra paperworks. One way or another, both Zoey and Matthew Xi were similar to their previous life before they met. 

Before their hearts beat for the other, and even before their minds shared the same train of thoughts about love, they're already similar. 

"He'll be here soon. Let me finish this one." Glancing at her wristwatch, Zoey grinned as she muttered, thinking Matthew Xi would come pick her up. 

Just the thought of seeing him again after several hours excited her. After all, they'd been inseparable for the last two weeks; they're together day, especially at night. 

Therefore, no one could blame Zoey to miss him even if she was not with him for exactly eight hours now. How nice to be in love. 

Unbeknownst to Zoey, outside her office, her employees, who should've been preparing to leave, were flocking around one desk. 

"Gosh... they said Xi Matthew can topple heaven and earth! I'm excited to confirm if he is!" Melanie Xue giddily exclaimed as she waited for the first public exposure of Matthew Xi. 

"Eh? They said he looks weird that's why he doesn't accept interviews!" Luigi Chan argued, rubbing his chin as he recalled different rumors about the certain man. 

"Well, we have our boss Xi here! I'm sure he wouldn't pale in comparison!"

"That's right! Anyway, I haven't seen Boss D in here recently. He didn't give up on Boss Zhou, right?" One colleague chimed in, his tone was filled with worry at his last remarks. 

"Uh..." Glancing up to him, Melanie Xue reviewed the occurrences of the whole day. 

Although Zoey wasn't particularly in a bad mood, she didn't appear like she was in a good mood either. If anything, Zoey acted like she usually does: roasting everyone, working like there's no tomorrow, and finishing projects that were on their top list. 

"That's impossible. Why would Boss D give up on Boss Zhou? She's too..." Chuckling awkwardly, Luigi Chan's words trailed off as he didn't know how to continue. 

Should he say Zoey was very understanding? Reserved? Not moody? Alas, everyone in the office knew how short tempered and blunt their boss was. 

"Oh god..." Agatha, the first person who always tasted Zoey's wrath gasped as her palm covered her lips. "Boss Zhou didn't dump Boss D, right?" As if on the verge of crying, Agatha panicked which was contagious. 

"You guys are so pessimistic. That's impossible." Melanie Xue attempted to calm them down, but to no avail. Even Melanie Xue sounded doubtful as it wasn't really impossible! 

To be honest, it was more possible at this moment! Hence, Melanie Xue bit her thumb nail in worry. "Yes, it's not possible." Meek and low, Melanie Xue admitted which caused everyone to sigh with a heavy heart. 

"I miss Boss D, although he was a bit strict sometimes." Luigi Chan sighed heavily once again, sounding grieved as if he lost a good friend in this battlefield named Z Image. 

"Oh, bless our Boss D. He may find peace and happiness." Placing her palm together, one male employee looked up as if he was praying for the soul of Matthew Xi. 

"Amen." In unison, they muttered solemnly followed by a heavy sigh. 

"And bless those who are having office romances. It's bound to have a tragic ending." The one leading the unexpected prayer added. 

"Ame — hey! No one is dating an officemate!" Just as Melanie Xue would follow the prayer, her face distorted as she believed everyone followed this silent rule. 

"Don't be so defensive, Mel." Glancing at Melanie Xue, Luigi Chan murmured that made everyone chuckle. 

"Oh, it's starting!" Just then, the interview of the legendary man in the business world started that made everyone unconsciously turn their focus on the screen as if they were watching an engaging movie. 

Obviously, the interview didn't start yet as it began with the XI Corporation's achievement, business ventures, and all kinds of stories about the XI Corporation on how they attained such a level in the current society. 

Still, these employees didn't really care about how great the XI Corporation as it was already made known to everyone. What they anticipated was the one-on-one interview with the mysterious CEO who had never made a public appearance. 

That was enough reason for everyone who was curious about what Matthew Xi looked like. Was he ugly? Gay-ish? Handsome? Wise? These were the least clarifications they would ever get. 

Who knows, maybe they would get more about his sexuality and a bit of personal life. After all, it was enough of a topic to gossip about. 

While everyone anticipated for the introduction to end, they didn't notice the figure coming inside the office. His russet eyes instantly landed on everyone flocking in one desk, his brows creased in puzzlement. 

'Why are they still here?' Matthew Xi wondered. Curious, he strode to their direction and peeked at the screen of what was so interesting that they hadn't left like normal. 

Since Matthew Xi was tall enough, he didn't have to tiptoe to see that the person on the screen was him! It was yesterday's interview. 

But, he wondered why they were watching it together? He didn't think this interview would pique Zoey's people���s interest. 

"Oh my god..." Under her breath, Melanie Xue gasped as she was the first one to grasp who was the person they had anticipated to see. 

Not just her, but everyone had the same aghast expression as they stared at the screen unblinking. That man... the man on the screen... Why did he look too similar to their Boss D?!

"Darling!" Just then, everyone snapped from their trance as they heard Zoey's cheerful voice not far away from them. 

Slowly, everyone's head turned to Zoey before they shifted it to the towering figure behind.
