Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

"Ah, ah, ah!" As Zoey grabbed Matthew Xi's hand and he pulled her up, the pain in her back struck again making her grit her teeth as she expressed the mild pain. 

Matthew Xi furrowed his brows and his other arm instinctively positioned itself an inch away from her back just in case she would fall. Fortunately, Zoey managed to stand up while her other hand held onto her lower back. 

"You," Matthew Xi slowly raised his gaze and called her out which made her blink her eyes curiously. "Turn around." His voice was cold and commanding. 

Zoey, although appalled, creased her brows together as she turned around. To her surprise, Matthew Xi suddenly lifted her clothes up that made her jolt away from him. 

"What are you doing?!" She gasped, placing her hands across her chest as if he had molested her. 

Alas, Matthew Xi just frowned. Although it was brief, he had seen the large bruise on her back. No wonder she kept on grunting as her back seemed like someone smashed a solid metal on it. Yet, she has been all over the place as if she didn't need rest. 

Matthew Xi then traveled his gaze from her head to toe. His eyes stopped at her knees; her jeans were ripped and he could see her knees bleeding. 

Earlier today, her jeans were fine. But it seemed she had drifted to the extent that she scraped her knees. That was not an unusual thing to happen during races, but Zoey wasn't wearing protective gear unlike Kenneth Bai. So, she was not protected from such things especially with her reckless driving. 

"Hey! What do you think you're doing to my sister?!" Just then, Ivan prompted towards Matthew Xi as he pointed his forefinger at him. 

Sure, Zoey was undeniably beautiful and cool but that didn't mean Matthew Xi could do whatever he wanted. Not when Ivan was around! 

"You need to spend the night in the hospital." Matthew Xi didn't bat Ivan a glance as he fixed his eyes on Zoey. ���You have a huge bruise on your back and your knees has been bleeding." In a matter-of-fact tone, Matthew Xi tilted his head towards her knees that she seemed to neglect this whole time. 

"Even so, how could you —"

"Ivan," Zoey glanced at Ivan who glanced back at her. She then shook her head mildly, gesturing to him that there was no need to be enraged about it. 

Technically, Zoey and Matthew Xi had seen each other's body and even became one in her previous life. She was just surprised earlier because she didn't expect that blunt action coming. 

"I'm fine. I just need a little rest." After she warned Ivan, Zoey turned to Matthew Xi and beamed him a reassuring smile. 

However, that didn't please Matthew Xi — not a single bit. If anything, he was disappointed at her response. 

"Rest in the hospital." He argued, walking towards Zoey which made her feet take a step back. Alas, his every step was thrice as large as her one step back. 

His hand soon reached her, grabbing her by the arm and stopping her from stepping back. "Get treated." He affirmed for the last time. 

Matthew Xi then took another step and in one swift move, he was carrying Zoey on his broad shoulder like a sack of rice. Surprisingly enough, despite her height, Zoey was light. 

"Hey, hey," Baffled at what was unfolding before him, Ivan gasped as he snapped. 

"I'm taking your sister to the hospital. You wait for my assistant, they'll be here shortly." Matthew Xi stopped in his tracks and faced Ivan who claimed Zoey to be his sister but didn't share the same genes as her. 

"What? I can't do that — you're leaving your friend?!" Ivan was more puzzled that Matthew Xi was more concerned about Zoey instead of Kenneth Bai. 

Sure, Zoey had little wounds and Ivan had planned to insist her to get treated. After all, Ivan only cared for Zoey and not the suicidal Kenneth Bai. Wouldn���t it make more sense if Matthew Xi was more concerned about his friend than Zoey?

"Ivan, I'm fine. Hehehe~" Unlike Ivan's expectation, Zoey was rather accepting and seemed to enjoy this attention from Matthew Xi. 

"Sis!"

"Laters~ Let me have my romance~!" In between her words, Zoey giggled as she found comfort being carried like a sack. 

With that being said, Matthew Xi glanced at Zoey before he resumed in his track. 

He trudged towards the motorcycle he used, putting Zoey down with care. "You can still ride, yes?" Glancing at her, Matthew Xi inquired and studied her bright front. 

"You bet." Zoey winked, the corner of her lips hooked into a smug smile. The pain on her back suddenly became more bearable, happy about this concern from him. 

He was her remedy and reward. If he was acting like this because he thought he should be grateful to Kenneth Bai's savior, Zoey wouldn't mind sacrificing Kenneth Bai so she could save him to have this reward at the end. 

"Hop in." Matthew Xi nodded his head in understanding, picking up the helmet that was on the handle grip and shoved it to Zoey. 

As Zoey smiled while holding the helmet, she knitted her brows when the helmet was snatched away from her again. 

Without a word, Matthew Xi just stared at her. When she looked up in confusion, he slowly placed the helmet over her and slowly put it on her head.

This gesture... Zoey's heart fluttered, pursing her lips as she watched him put the helmet on her. "Wait." He said, hoping on the motorcycle beside them after securing her helmet. "Come here," he added, offering his hand for her to hop in behind him. 

"En..." Like a behaved little girl, Zoey followed the order obediently with a smile. 

Meanwhile, Ivan who was watching this unfold before his eyes could not help his eyes but twitch. He blinked many times, but seeing Zoey's reaction each time confirmed that she's blushing!

Obviously, this was new to Ivan's eyes which unconsciously made him gasp in disbelief. This is not his sister! She would never act like a shy teenage girl while in front of her crush! Alas, this scene had made a huge crack of Zoey's image in Ivan's head. 

Meanwhile, Kenneth Bai who was watching the two could not help but frown. Yet, he believed that Matthew Xi was just returning the favor that he should be doing. But with his current state, Kenneth Bai couldn't do that.. Thus, he remained silent and watched the two speed away.
