Inside the grand venue of one of the most famous hotels in the country, well-known personalities from different industries thronged the venue. Everything was sparkling; from the decoration, the sparkle of champagne in their glasses, women in the lavish dresses, men in their formal suits.

The flashes of cameras capturing the long line of cars in the driveway livened everything from the outside. It was a big event and everyone was well-aware that having a privilege to take a photo of the guests and their dates would be an honor.

"Woah! That's the Young Master of the Tang Family!" As soon as Ezekiel Tang departed the exquisite limousine, cheers from the crowd resonated in the air.

"Her date must be…"

"I heard rumors about the rising star, Miss Wei Clara and the Young Master!"

"This will be a good headline if she's Young Master Tang's date!"

Everyone anticipated the person who was with Ezekiel Tang as the latter jogged over to the other door. After all, the topic rumors about these two had been hot recently. However, it was yet to be confirmed from both sides.

Thus, catching them attending the same event, it would surely make headlines! With Clara's rising popularity, her fans would surely go crazy knowing more of her love life.

As Ezekiel Tang opened the door and a beautiful hand reached to his hand, everyone held their breath. Soon, they gasped in disbelief as they clicked photos faster than ever.

There, Clara departed the limousine. She turned her head towards her date and beamed him a sweet smile. Ezekiel also smiled back gently as he guided her hand to his arm.

With them linking arms, they headed inside as if they were in their own little world. The paparazzi who had been following Clara everywhere and raised those rumors could not believe what they were seeing.

The two were just perfect. Both good-looking and promising. One was a remarkable actress who was steadily and quickly rising to fame while the other was a respectable young master. It was said that Ezekiel was 'at the same' caliber as the Young Master and head of the Xi Family!

"Oh oh! This is great news!"

"This will be trending! Quick, tell the chief that we should make an article right here and now!"

As the two couples walked inside, the reporters were in chaos as if they were racing which company to release such news. After all, the first one who could let the whole world know about it could ride the wave of how strong the news was.

"Brother Zeke, is it really alright to be seen like this?" Clara glanced up as she asked in a sheepish tone. It was evident that the blush on her cheek was not because of embarrassment but because of utter pride for dating this young master.

Clara had been in an intimate relationship with Ezekiel for more than two years. She had been doing what he wanted, but kept it a secret from the public because of Ezekiel's standing. However, right now, she was attending an elite party as Ezekiel's date!

"Lala," Ezekiel stopped in his tracks as he faced Clara. "Are you embarrassed that I'm being seen with you?"

A frown resurfaced on Ezekiel's lips as he sighed heavily. Clara saw the disappointment in his eyes that made her immediately shake her head profusely.

"No!" Clara exclaimed. "I'm just happy that Brother Zeke asked me to be his date for tonight's important event! I'm just worried that people might start saying I don't deserve to be seen…"

Clara didn't finish her sentence as Ezekiel shook his head lightly. She pursed her lips in a thin line as she swallowed the rest of her sentence.

"It's me who doesn't deserve this position in your heart. And yet, I am shamelessly not letting it go. I don't want to keep our relationship a secret anymore, Lala. I want to let the whole world know that you're my woman." Ezekiel smiled gently which made Clara's eyes well up.

Words couldn't explain the happiness in her heart at the moment. It just felt surreal to her. She was too happy that Ezekiel finally found her worthy. It made her forget about that 'woman' who was trying to steal her man away from her!

"Brother Zeke…" Clara whispered as she tried to stop herself from messing her makeup by crying.

"There, don't cry." Ezekiel wiped the tempting tears that were bound to roll on her cheek. Clara smiled as she leaned her cheek in his palm.

"Let's go?" Ezekiel cupped her cheek and Clara nodded.

With that being said, the two headed inside and immediately caught the attention of everyone inside the grand hall.

"Right… This is the event where they officially announced their relationship." Zoey mumbled as she extended her neck to see the cause of the ruckus outside.

There, Zoey caught Ezekiel and Clara's figure who was sweetly making their entrance. She could not help but cringe at the pretentious act of Ezekiel.

She didn't realize it before, but Zoey figured the reason Ezekiel took Clara as her date to this grand event. If she remembered correctly, the Tang Enterprise was in a crisis and by dating the famous Clara, their company could gain popularity as well.

Zoey remembered everyone talking about Clara and the young master of the Tang Family in their previous life. With the mention of Ezekiel Tang, their company was often mentioned. Thus, Clara basically saved the Tang's from whatever crisis they were facing.

If not for that very reason, Ezekiel would keep Clara as his mistress while fooling around with different women. That scum wouldn't sacrifice his great 'single' life if it wasn't necessary. Yet, Clara was blinded by love and even if Ezekiel would constantly cheat on her, she would forgive him repeatedly.

"Are you jealous?" Suddenly, Matthew who was on the driver's seat inquired while staring at her side profile.

"What? Eww." Zoey immediately denied with disgust written all over her face.

"Good," Matthew nodded in satisfaction before repositioning his position to face her in comfort. "It'll be an insult to be jealous if I'm with you." 

Matthew smirked as a sudden idea flashed across his mind. Zoey who noticed the glint that flickered across his eyes, furrowed her brows but didn't probe further.

'I have a bad feeling about this..' Zoey muttered internally as she suddenly felt restless.
