Will There Be A Happy Ending?

Before they could start eating, Hidayat's phone rang. He took the phone out of his pocket and looked at the screen. Daniel's name listed on the screen, "Sorry, I have to answer this…" He swiped the screen to the right and put the phone on his left ear. "Hello…"

"Hidayat, we have found Brandon. I'm moving out with the Serpents in a moment. Do you want to join us?"

"Where is he?"

"Blakang Mati Island"

"I'll meet you at the bridge," Hidayat ended the call and turned towards the couple contritely. Anston nodded in understanding. "They've found Brandon and Daniel is mobilising the Serpents for a rescue mission.

"Let me get ready. I'll join you." Anston stood up and walked away. Jessica looked at her husband with a pained expression. She knew she could not impede the man from going but she also could not help feeling worried for him.

Hidayat could only wait in silence. He didn't want Anston to follow but he knows no matter what he said, Anston will be adamant with his decision.

Anston came out from his room with a plain black long-sleeve V-neck t-shirt and a black Levi's jeans. His slick-backed hair made his well-defined features, gives off an evil charm on his casual gaze.

Hidayat and Anston gave Jessica a hug before leaving the house. The two shared a quiet lift ride down to the carpark. As it was already quite late, Anston decided to drive his Pagani Huayra instead of hitching a ride with Hidayat.

Named after Huayra-Tata, a god of the winds that were worshipped by the Inca people, the Pagani Huayra is propelled by a twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG V12, a six-litre engine which produces 730 horsepower and 740 lb.-ft. of torque. It has a top speed of 372 km/h and can accelerate from rest to 100 km/h in only 3.3 seconds. Not only that, but his Pagani Huayra was also fitted with a secret compartment to keep his guns.

Both twins and Anston has the deepest appreciation of fast cars, hence, each of them has their own collection of fast cars. Like tonight, instead of driving his McLaren P1, Hidayat had driven his Bugatti Veyron Grand Sports Vitesse.

This particular car cost him twice the market price as the series had been discontinued and was purchased off from a foreign investor from Country E. The Grand Sports Vitesse convertible is loaded with a neck-breaking 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 lb.-ft. of torque.

Luckily, Ardmore Park was fairly close to the bridge between the capital to Blakang Mati Island. Hence, the drive to the bridge was really quick. By the time Daniel and the Serpents arrived, both Anston and Hidayat had already checked their ammunition and smoked a couple stick of cigarettes while listening to Daniel's briefing on the phone.

When the rest of the party arrived, Daniel's vehicle led the entourage towards the abandoned fort that is being used by the Lee family to keep Brandon prisoner. Even though Brandon was not from the Loh family, his predecessors have also been the Loh's support unknown to the public.

Hence, when they found out that Brandon's girlfriend had made use of him, they knew it was not entirely his fault. Because unlike his predecessors, Brandon was quite 'innocent'.
