Will There Be A Happy Ending?

After a long swim, Hidayah finally stepped out of the pool and using a controller, called for the butler.

The butler came with a towel in one hand and a glass of red wine on a tray in another. This is usually what Hidayah will ask for after a long swim in the afternoon. Unlike her brother who swims for either fun or exercise, Hidayah only swims when she needs to clear her mind or overcome her anger. It's more of a therapy for her.

"Thanks, Uncle Lim," Hidayah took the towel from the butler and wiped herself. The butler then put the glass of red wine on the small patio table by her side.

"Is there anything else I can assist you with, young mistress?" the butler asked.

"No, I just want to lay here for a while. Wake me up for dinner if I am still asleep, will you?"

"Yes, I understand. I will leave the maid here in case you need anything else." He then bowed slightly before walking away. His face, in a scowl, as if serving the woman was beneath him. But don't get him wrong, it was just his face. In his heart, he loved his young mistress like his own granddaughter if he had any. But, like any old men, he strongly believes that a man should be the head of the family.

Hidayah looked at the back of the man who was walking away. She could feel the difference in his treatment towards her for the past few years, but as long as the man serves the family loyally, there was nothing she could do.

Meanwhile...

Anston and the rest were hanging out at the church with the minister, talking about the ceremony that is to be held in a week's time. Even though he trusts the guys to do a splendid work on his behalf, but he wanted to be as involved as he can. Well, it is his wedding anyway…

"Thank you, Father. You can contact my cousin if you need anything during my absence this week." Anston shook the minister's hand and looked at Hidayat while smiling broadly. The minister looked at both men and nodded his head before saying his intent to leave.

Daniel, Hidayat, Walter, Jian Yu and Gabriel were waiting for Anston before they walked towards their own ride. Walter and Jian Yu are the twins and Anston's cousins. Walter is the same age as Anston and had grown up in Europe. As for Jian Yu, he is Uncle Jing Guo's second son and like his father, is also in the army. Being a decade older than the groom, he was the oldest bachelor in the group. Gabriel is Anston's best friend.

"Jian Yu, Anston is getting married next week… When is your turn, huh?" Hidayat teased his tángxiōng. The rest of the group also chipped in with the teasing.

"Well, since yéye has many sons and grandsons, even if I were to stay single till the end of my life, he won't say anything…" Jian Yu answered cheekily.

"Wei… how can you say that!" Anston retort when he heard his cousin. "Yéye said all sons in the family have to marry. No matter how late!" the group laughed loudly.

Suddenly, Rihanna singing 'S.e.x with Me' sounded from Anston's pocket. The men hollered louder. Anston glared at Hidayat while fishing out for his phone. "What!! Don't look at me!" Hidayat responded with eyes wide open. He then looked at Daniel and Walter. Both of them were laughing so loud that Daniel was having difficulty to hold back and breathe in between, his face was tomato red.

"Hey, honey…" Anton answered the call. His face froze in shock after he heard a man spoke through the call. "Who are you and why do you have my wife's phone?"

Hidayat, hearing Anston's voice, stood still listening in. Jian Yu and Gabriel stopped too… Danial was still laughing unable to control himself and clueless of Anston's angry face.
