Chapter 175 Snape’s Plot

Snape walked into Ethan's office with his usual cold expression.

"Ethan, I really didn't know that your relationship with Lupine was already so good." Snape said with a frown.

"What are you talking about?" Snape asked casually.

"Nothing, just some questions from the course." Ethan replied with a smile.

Snape frowned. He obviously knew that Ethan was not telling the truth, but since it was none of his business, he couldn't say much.

"I think you must have something important to come to me for," Ethan said to Snape.

"That's right—" Snape curled his lips.

"Starting from tomorrow, Lupine, who teaches the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, will be sick, and I will teach the Defense Against the Dark Arts class instead of Lupine."

Snape suddenly talked about something that had nothing to do with Ethan, which surprised Ethan.

"Then I should congratulate you? Professor Snape." Ethan said expressionlessly.

Although Lu Ping had just finished speaking to himself in good health and just walked out of the door.

Now Snape said that Lupine was too sick to attend class, but since Snape had said it and Lupine didn't object, then Lupine must be really sick.

In fact, Ethan knew that the night of the full moon was coming soon. During this period, Lupine would turn into a werewolf, which would be very painful, so Snape had to take over.

"It was just some small talk." Snape said calmly.

"I was brewing a potion according to Dumbledore's instructions recently, and I'm missing some ingredients. I wanted to ask if you have these."

After speaking, Snape handed Ethan a list filled with words.

Ethan took the list and examined it in detail, and saw several medicinal ingredients circled by Snape in red pen.

"I happen to have all these medicinal ingredients, I can give you some." Ethan opened his bag with a smile, took out different types of medicinal ingredients, and handed them to Snape.

Although Ethan's expression was smiling at this time, he was already cursing secretly in his heart.

It was obvious that Snape came to see him today because he wanted to use him as a gunman to expose Lupine as a werewolf.

Today, Snape came to the office to remind and hint in every possible way, just so that he could "actively" discover Lupine's true identity.

Snape believed that Ethan, as a Hogwarts professor and as a member of the Ministry of Magic, was the most suitable person to discover and expose Lupine's werewolf identity.

As long as he gives a little guidance and hint, Ethan will surely discover Lupine's identity smoothly. At this time, he can naturally watch the most annoying Lupine get out of Hogwarts.

But the only mistake in his calculation was that he was facing Ethan.

Ethan didn't intend to fall into Snape's trap. Kicking Lupine away would not do him any good, but might cause a lot of unnecessary trouble.

So Ethan decided to continue pretending to be stupid. After preparing all the medicinal ingredients for Snape, he sat back down and said nothing.

Snape waited for Ethan to ask questions so that he could reveal some clues to Ethan.

But seeing Ethan's completely uninterested attitude in this matter, Snape's face quickly turned ugly.

Soon, Snape felt that he was asking for trouble. With an ugly face, he thanked Ethan for giving him the medicine and left Ethan's office.

Snape knew very well that it was obviously impossible to rely on Ethan to expose Lupine. He could only rely on those stupid students at the moment.

Soon the students at Hogwarts faced the most uncomfortable class. Their favorite Professor Lupin was replaced by Snape.

In the first moment of class, Snape deducted ten points from Gryffindor for Harry's tardiness.

This made Gryffindor look bitter throughout the whole class.

Snape's class was also very different from Professor Lupin's.

Unlike Professor Lupine's interesting and interactive class, Snape completely ignored the progress of the teaching and began to teach everyone about werewolves inexplicably.

During class, Snape didn't know that his nerve was wrong, and he deducted points from Gryffindor like crazy.

Harry was deducted five points by Snape simply for asking where Professor Lupin was.

And because Hermione rushed to answer the question, Gryffindor was deducted five points.

After Ron stood up and argued for Hermione, Harry, Ron and Hermione were finally given detention.

Under Snape's intimidation, the teaching was finally able to proceed successfully.

Snape made the whole class so boring that even the Slytherin snakes couldn't stand it.

As long as Hermione listened carefully to Snape's lessons and seemed thoughtful.

Not long after Snape finished class, there was a knock on the door of Ethan's office, and Hermione's little brown head was revealed at the door.

"Professor Ethan, can I talk to you?" Hermione whispered nervously.

"Of course it's no problem, come in and sit down." Ethan said to Hermione.

Hermione's face looked much better. I don't know if it was because of Ethan's tranquilizing potion or because Hermione herself gave up using the time and space converter.

Hermione looked very hesitant sitting in the chair. She obviously had something to say to Ethan, but she was hesitant about whether she should say it or not.

Finally Hermione found the courage to speak out.

"Professor Ethan, I suspect that Professor Lupine is a werewolf." Hermione gritted her teeth and expressed her suspicion.

Ethan was a little surprised. He sat up straight and looked at Hermione seriously, "Hermione, why do you think so?"

"Professor Snape is teaching our Defense Against the Dark Arts class recently," Hermione said a little uneasily.

"He told us about werewolves, and I found that many of Professor Lupine's symptoms were the same as those of werewolves." Hermione looked a little uneasy.

"And Professor Lupine once took us to a class to defeat Boggarts. There were some minor accidents in that class. I saw at that time that what Professor Lupine was afraid of was a silver-white sphere -"

Through Hermione's description, Ethan also remembered the failed Defense Against the Dark Arts class. It was one of the rare times Lupin failed in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

Boggarts are magical creatures that can conjure up the worst fears of those they face.

Due to the accident caused by Ethan on the Hogwarts Express, the thing that many young wizards fear most has become dementors.

So when Lupine showed off the Boggart, almost everyone's Boggart turned into a Dementor.

This triggered a collective panic. Everyone thought that a dementor had really broken into the school, and they ran away from the professor in fear.

"At that time, I always thought that Professor Lupine was afraid of the crystal ball. After finishing Snape's class, I suddenly realized that Professor Lupine was afraid of the moon, because the full moon would turn him into a werewolf!" Hermione Analyzed carefully.

"Very good, Hermione, your analysis is very good." Ethan applauded Hermione with satisfaction.

This made Hermione a little embarrassed and her face turned red again.

"Thank you for the information, Hermione, I will continue the investigation." Ethan said to Hermione.

Although he already knew that Lupine was a werewolf, he still had to pretend not to know.
