Long ago people live in fear. All because of the demons,

They were everywhere, they kill for no proper reasons.

Some kill for food,Some kill to satisfy themselves and some others do the unknown, they move without motives there was no idea why they even exist and what reason do they serve. It was a complete Reign of terror throughout the land

The demons were divided into two groups

The two groups were supervised by two superior demons

The first group is called "nightwalkers " those who parades at night and kill countless of walking creatures including humans to be specific. they lurk around dark places but when it turns exactly midnight they start going out of their chambers and do their kill. They were presided over by

"Hanyu " A majestic demon who was long known as a fallen god.

The second group is called "morning dwellers "those who kills in the broad daylight and not in proper order they wreck and make havoc, they are much worse than the nightwalkers since all the nightwalkers do was just kill, morning dwellers love chaos although nightwalkers are much stronger than them. They are presided over by "Ceres " . Ceres is the mortal enemy of Hanyu but since Hanyu lost his title as a god, Ceres had slowly cast out his hatred towards him.

It took centuries before the fate of the humans changed. A girl born from a human and a god had changed the history. She bore the power to protect mankind and save them from the destructive fate of the demons in the whole wide world, her name was "Reiko " she was called the Princess of the Scarlet Fate with the help of a wolf spirit called "Natsume " together they took out the demons and cast them away.

From time to time their story became a lesson, a lesson to a legend, a legend to a bedtime story until it was all forgotten.

But still, every time the blue moon after a deceased or resigned princess arises, a new princess will be called and be sent away to protect the humans secretly without even knowing she still exists

Chapter 1

*alarm clock rings *

"Uh Monday I hate you so much " I said as I shut the alarm clock off as it goes so loud near my very s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e ears, why do I have to go to school? Can I atleast come late?

My name is Claire ,17 years of age I still live with my parents but somehow they occasionally leave for work and my grandparents visits me when they are away. I go to my grandparents' house every summer or every time I want to see them

Im a secondary student now and finally living my life as a free teenager and my parents has finally allowed me to have my own cell and go have fun with my friends every after school. I'm inlove with a guy named Xander I mean who wouldn't?

That guy is cool, handsome, tall, sporty and is a gentleman . He once saved me one time from a ball flying towards me, he caught the ball that was directly set to hit my face and i was too stunned to move away

That was the time I fell for him and he has the most s.e.xiest voice ever,

The first words he spoke to me was "are you okay? "Which made my day and I happen to bite my lips so hard it bled

He was so hot and somehow you couldn't get enough of him. Many adores him and I'm one of them of course, but I sure do hope he'll notice me and not his other fans

"Hey Claire what time is it? " Michelle, a friend and a classmate of mine asked Oh if you're wondering what the hell She's doing here is all because I called her out to sleep with me, and since my parents are away for a week I own the house right now and as I told you earlier that my grandparents act as a substitute when my parents are away, well right now I asked mom to not call them here so now I'm completely free for a week.

"It's still six "I replied, after hearing my reply she crashed my bed and burried her face with piles of pillows beside me

"Wake me up when night breaks "she mumbled which I clearly heard, I have this sharp sense of hearing which causes me to hear even a heartbeat from someone's body and it's very fascinating even for myself to think

"I'll go take a shower call me when you need me "I told her as I did what I just said,

After doing my daily morning routine every weekdays I went back to my room to wake my sleeping friend "Hey, it's seven -thirty you have to wake up now or do you still want me to wake you up when night breaks? "I asked her smiling

She quickly popped her head out of the pillows with wide eyes "how'd you knew I wanted you to wake me up when night breaks? Im so fascinated by your sharp sense of hearing yannow, can you share some? That way I could hear everyone who is talking about me "she said with a thinking pose

"Should I go first or I'll wait for you to finish so that we can go together? "I asked her

"I'll go home now and be absent this morning. See you at school "she replied and then climbed out of my window to her room in the neighboring house

Yes we are neighbors... problem?

I locked my window and locked the house and left for school, as I arrived I looked at my cell to see what time it already was 7:40 about this hour Xander should be.....

"Prince Xander! "

"Xander look over here! "

Yup just in time. Around 7:40-7:57 Xander arrives at school and we always see each other every morning or to be more honest I always see him .I don't know if he ever notices me or something but Oh well all is good as long as I see him that's A-okay

"Hey Claire! "I looked at my right and saw Liz my bestfriend,

"Hey, what're our plans this afternoon? " I asked

"I have a news! "She said with a small voice as if she was whispering something to me

"Like? "

"Xander went out with Jessica "she whispered

Jessica??? But why?

"Oh that's good since Jessica's a hottie they suit each other "I replied, no they don't suit with each other Jessica's a whore! That flirtatious kind of a girl

"Seriously? I know you're hurt deep in there "Liz said smiling at me weirdly, this is one of the reasons why I hate having bestfriends. Know why? Because no matter how hard you try to hide something they eventually figure you out in no time which is just too unfair. But then bestfriends are awesome they got your back!

"Let's just go to the classroom "I suggested and she happily nodded

The class was a wreck and boring as always, after school I went out to the mall with Liz and Michelle together with their boyfriends which made me feel like I'm out of place since I don't have a boyfriend. I'm an NBSB

no boyfriend since birth it's quite very drastic at times and lonely most of the time

I went home alone, see? It's very drastic and lonely! Why must the gods give me this fate?

I went to my house and went to my room after I locked the front door and in my room I saw a strange letter. How'd it get in here?
