World Of Warcraft: Altered Time

Chapter 1 - Before Release

In a sea of clouds stood two women and a man. In between them a pool of something that could only be described as water reflected several smaller pools with different scenes in each of them. This particular view showed the end of this Universe* being carried out. The viewers watched it as if it was a performance. Within their eyes the fate of the world had already be determined.

The first woman was dressed in a toga that covered her head to toe. The toga was white and cream with blue trimmings. Her hair dr.a.p.ed over her shoulders down to her backside. An athletic ponytail was done up in the middle. Her face was hidden mostly by a veil, except her exposed top of her cheeks, her sparkling eyes were the only other things visible. On the toga was a sword and shield resting on a scale. Her clear eyes seemed to contain the very sky of every world. She looked deeply at the man before her. Speaking of a task for her champion in the world below.

The second woman looked like destruction personified. From her strong yet feminine chin, she radiates confidence not seen amongst anyone. Well any mortal, only a few Gods could match her prowess. Each move and sway of her hands and head contain the momentum of a fighter. Her dark robes were form-fitting and allowed the most flexibility to dish out damage without any restriction. Every now and then she flexed her right hand and little stands of energy traveled from the pool below into her other closed hand. She collected the souls of the fallen she deemed worthy for a trip to hell's abyss.

The man never turned his gaze away from the view of the world below. "Tch, if only I had more members to do the right thing." The man said. Looking up he finally started to talk about the task at hand. "So you will send a new person to help me? Fixing the world is key I believe. What about the Order and its minions? I can't keep declining the powers of the Denizens next time. They will want my decision next time. Standing by on the sidelines will not help, they will not stand idly to this, that much I have figure out."

"I will deal with, that don't you worry. As for the greater whole of the Denizen matters, they won't be able to intervene till he reaches there location. Raising him before the crisis hits will help. To defend the populace will be for the best. Train him so no one or creature is his equal. As well if he loses everything he will learn and grow from it. Giving up is not an option." The black-haired woman said.

"As the last remnants of the Titans it has to be done. You understand this yes?" The woman in white asked the older man before her.

"Yes but…" the titan said as he looked up from the pool of water. "What will happen to the rest of the clan members? What about my son and grandson? Can you tell me this Lady Athena and Lady Bane?"

"There Destinies are set already, but there is a divergence. Their life will change for the better or possibly worse. Your job as the Guide has been fulfilled. With the raising of one more child of destiny, the world will no longer face calamity as it has now." Athena said with a stoic gaze.

"However.." Bane said as she got the Titan's attention. "This new Grandson may kill your other family members. You will have to deal with the notion you are raising a possible killer of your direct kin. You better raise him well." She walked closer to the Titan. Stepping across the pool before in one step. Arriving in front of him she extended her hand outward, running her hand across his c.h.e.s.t and face. "This is no punishment but a reward. Your son was a revolutionary and your grandson is destined to be a King. This new grandson will fight for the Sindorei."

"Ahem," the titan said stepping back. I am a married man." He said blushing.

"Right I forget that. Weird Timelines and all that." Bane said stepping away.

"Enough flirting you two," Athena said in a little huff. " Aman'Thul the child's name will be Azul Lunastrider. For those who will remember him, he will not speak or show much emotion. But his body will go through the motions you need him to. So do not hold back on his training. Treat the body as just flesh. His soul will go through training with us."

With a grim expression, Aman'Thul agreed. He started to think of all the training he could place in the child without having to worry about morality and pain for the child getting in the way. A child to shape exactly as he needs him to be. There were techniques he could not teach his son or grandson no matter what. No father would do that to a loved one.

"How long till his soul will be ready? When will he show up?" Aman'Thul asked after laying out his plans in his head.

"His soul will arrive in intervals into the body. For a few days, he will act just like a regular person before turning back to his dormant state. I believe it should happen at several intervals and finally at twenty-one." Athena said.

"As for when he will show up, " Bane said as she flickered walked behind Athena. Grabbing her by the stomach and waist. "Right after I knock her up."

With a bright red face, Athena smacked her hands away. At least attempted to. Aman'thul nose started to bleed at the thought of the two doing the act. He was a ancient Titan older than several universes and he still blushed.

"Ouch let go." Bane said as Athena twisted her hand. "It was a slight jest."

"It was not funny. Go back Aman'thul we will send the child soon." Athena said to the red-faced man. With a flick of her wrist, Aman'thul was enveloped in white light and disappeared.

Looking over Athena stared at her partner. "Why did you say that?! This will lead to all kinds of misunderstandings next time we talk to him." Athena said with a little blush.

"Hehe, it was funny. Besides, don't you want to? I don't mind turning into a man to do it." Bane said with a teasing smile. "Come on it will be like the olden days. You know you want to."

"No, I will do it this time," Athena said plainly.

"Tch spoilsport." Bane had a pouting look on her face as she kicked a cloud. The shock settled in a few moments later. "Wait what do you mean you will this time?" Bane stared incredulously looking at her partner.

"I am going to knock you up this time. Athena said pushing Bane onto a cloud eliciting a yelp of surprise from her. "I know you have thought of turning back to a man. But I don't want that. Besides, I know the child we send will have a soul from hell that you have chosen. I will teach him righteousness and some combat wisdom. As his soul transfers bit by bit. You can teach him aspects of killing and your views of darkness of the soul."

"Wait.. wait I am not ready. Didn't' you say you hate turning into a man." Bane said coyly. More than anything in the world she wanted this. She would watch the world burn if it gave her more time with Athena. Trying to calm down her own rapidly beating hearts, she closed her eyes praying to the creator that this was all true. 'Hmm, I don't really mind. But she better be serious about it.'

"I will only turn partial. But you are going to b.a.r.e my child this time. That world is filled with so much warfare. Your body will give birth to a better vessel to house the soul." Athena said mounting Bane slowly. She whispered into her ear saying, "besides I want to see you carrying my child. I hate the form you take as a man. You look too much like my brother and uncle in it. This way you stay your beautiful self and I get to see you scream!"

"Fine then give it your best shot." Bane said looking at her partner. 'By the pantheons, if I get this I don't mind the brat saving people. Finally, we are getting somewhere.'

For the last few centuries. Bane always wanted Athena to be more direct instead of always wise and calculating. Little did she know this would set a new pattern in their relationship.

A few hours later the two laid in the cloud talking. They have fully clothed once again. Bane slept peacefully after summoning the soul from hell. Athena continued to talk to him explain to him what needed to be done as well as his new lease on life.

"So you're going to train me spiritually while I wait? Then you are gonna send my soul bit by bit to the World Of Warcraft as a grandchild of one the High Elves bloodline? My job is to save civilians and change the World as well as fight pirates, Warlords, the World Government and its lackeys while staying alive?" The soul looked deadpanned at Athena. 'Just glad I am out of hell.'

"Yes, that is correct. Or would you prefer to go back?" Athena said looking at the soul before her.

"Sure let's do it. I rather not go back to hell thank you very much. When do we start?" Azul asked.

"You start now," Athena said sending his soul away to train. Looking down she looked at Bane's face. 'Eh, why did you summon one of your projects instead of sending someone else? Wouldn't a normal resident of hell work better? You are changing slowly aren't you.' She thought to herself as she flicks some of the hair from her partner's face.

Smiling Bane opened her eyes and looked at Athena. "You are really good with that thing you know that?" Bane said with a smirk causing Athena to blush. "How was the candidate I choose? Up to snuff? You were surprised were you not?"

"Yes. But why did you choose a righteous soul that volunteered for hell? Isn't that project really important?" Athena asked quizzically. Bane just stared at Athena she became lost in her beautiful eyes. "Stop staring at me like that." Athena pouted and looked to the side.

Flipping her on to her back Bane mounted her. "I sent him because I know how much you love that place. That project will never advance unless I take risks with the souls. They must be pushed further than they have been before. He will carve out a path of destruction in the future there that will allow me to stay with you longer. I am a being of destruction remember. With your teachings guiding him he will learn to use his abilities for good. Humphed." Bane snorted in disgust at the last word. "How about another go?"

"As long as the destruction is towards the Burning Legion then fine. This time my champion will elevate a different race this time. If he fails I do not know what will happen. As for your other question." Athena looked at Bane. The more Bane kept this form the more she forgot of the past when the Pantheons where at war. She may be a Goddess of War but she did enjoy peace as she got older. Hmm, only if you beg." Athena said cheekily. She knew begging was something Bane would never do. But she was in for a surprise.

"Please, my love." Bane said passionately as she moved in for a kiss. 'Hehe, she has no idea the lengths I will go to for her.'
