World Of Warcraft: Altered Time

Chapter 12 - The Wretched March 4 (3:35 P.M.)

"Kalar make sure you have the soldiers ready." Azul said calmly.

"They are ready and waiting. All have been given the utmost orders." Kalar said moving back and forth doing a quick inspection. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, only thing that can go wrong would be that I blow the bloody thing up. Just recycle it and make another." Azul said before smirking. "However.. that is if we survive." Seein Kalar and a few of the guards freak out he decides to change the subject. "So.. you are gonna wait till I get back to marry him right?"

"My... lord.. I will try." Kalar said embarrassed.

"Tch, cant believe you are not willing to wait how rude. But then again you have waited a life time for it so... yeah whatever. Just dont forget your duties. Make sure everything will be nice done."

"But of course.!" Kalar said with a salute. Right as he finish, Disa came in from the side with a few more priest in tow. She marched right over towards Azul.

"Hi," Azul said as looked at her before returning his sights towards the wretched.

"So you are going to do what?!" Disa asked.

"I am going to fuse the last group of wretched we just received with the sick and old Lynx we captured. Think Worgen but.. more cat like." Azul walked closer to the Druid pool of nature energy. Channeling the rest of current magic he started the process.

Bestial animal spirits circled around the area. Slowly they picked up the newly turned back wretched into the air. As the bodies floated up above, the gathered priest started casting low level healing spells. A small opening in the Emerald Dream opened into realspace.

Tempted to grab at the power before him, Azul shook his head in agitation and continued the spell. 'A lot of problems could be solved right now if I damaged that realm. But new ones later.' Pouting Azul smacked his hands togethor finishing the spell.

The people fell down into the druid pool. A few of the gathered families tried to go help them. A good thing the guard were there to stop them.

"Shing," swords drawn and shields outstretched to cut anyone down. The people looked to Azul who stared back coldly. His gaze let the gather people know they would be killed if they took a step forward.

"Splash," the first made it out. He pulled two others with him. More and more started walking out with at least one person hanging onto them. The families looked to Azul if they could help now. He shook his head no. Once the people cleared a line and a quick healing wave by the priest, did the guards step back and out the way.

Disa had watch Azul the entire time. "if they would have crossed the line and passed the guards what would have happened?"

"I would have had them killed." Azul said never looking away from the pool. Taking a step forward the little goblin followed slowly. She stopped at the line. "You are smart to have stopped. They have there orders for good reason." Reaching the pool Azul unsummened his clothes as he descended into the water. It was only for a moment as he pulled up the only one that didnt make it. A child no bigger than a gnome. "Tsk, there just had to be one."

Reaching into his inventory he summoned the Naga Statue that the others fished out the lake. Slowly magic was restoring it but not fast. Setting the statue in the middle of the pool he looked at the child.

"Splurt," Azul stabbed his hand into the c.h.e.s.t and grabbed at the heart. Speaking to the soul remains with the help of Ks, he tried to rouse the soul to agree.

"You have failed child. Will you pass onto the afterlife and hope to meet your parents? Or will you take on this responsibility I have left for you. This task you cannot quit even in death." Azul spoke the words slowly and calmly. Those on the outside could here the words but wonder what he meant.

"Azul, what are you doing?" Disa asked. She took a step back from the line. "If the child is still alive take them out of there!"

"He cannot." Demona said flying down. "The child is technically dead. Only thing keeping the soul there is the pool. The Emerald Dream wished to claim her maybe?" Rocking her head side to side she shrugged giving up on it. "Not my area of understanding." Her gaze stared at Azul's back as she watched the symbol of a snake dancing form. A image of a moon formed. The snake wrapped around trying to crush it. When that didn't work, the mouth opened wide attempting to devour it whole. The process happened again and again. 'What magics are you using?'

"I wish to live!" The child soul yelled. It traveled throughout the city revealing its d.e.s.i.r.e to everyone.

"Very well then." Azul said trying to hide a smile. The spell settle down enwrapoing the child healing the body. A silhouette of a naga wrapped around the child before leaving. "Well you will definitely need a new name for your new self."

As Azul stepped out of the pool the child floated down touching the water. Standing onto of it the energies tried to grab hold of her. Taking her to the Emerald Dream. Snakes appeared and devoured the energy. With each bit of power that tried to her the snakes robbed it of its strength. A few minutes later, as if realizing the target was the energy returned back to the pool.

"Umu, so tired." The child opened her eyes and looked at Azul. "Hello, how may I serve." Her voice was low and demure.

"Azul get the child out now! So much magic saturation cannot be good for her." Disa yelled worridely.

"Keep your little goblin p.a.n.t.i.e.s on. She will be alright." Stepping back to the line Azul waited. "You have to walk out of the pool still." His voice returned cold and hardened. The soldiers nearby unleashed there weapons once again.

"Y..yes." The child, as if she was a new born calf stepped slowly. "Splash, she feel in the pool of power. Standing up she fell again. Right at the edge of the pool she stated at Azul and the people around. As if she could feel their thoughts she pushed forward. They wanted her to succeed. Even though they didnt know her. They just wanted her to live. "Ahh," stepping forward one more time she made it. As her legs wobbled threatened to give way, she leaned forward. The forward momentum sending straight into Azul.

"Oof, jeez attacking me already. Thanks I get. Heh." Azul scoffed and held the child up. Two priest came over and ran a few spells checking over her. Finding nothing they walked away. "You still a need a name. What do you want to be called."

"Umm, your warm. Like sunshine." The girl mumbled as her eyes opened. "Your the papa you name me."

"Ehhhh, I am sorry what now?" Azul asked puzzled. "How am I your father all I did was.."

(Azul blood flows in the child's veins. As well as his light and nature magic. You are also responsible for her new life.)

"Hehee, you will make a great father." Demona taunted. "You can do it." The test of the onlookers also adding in.

"We need a new princess!"

"You can do it!"

"If you dont do it I will throw a banana at you!"

"Why a banana?" Azul mumbled. "Little girl there are tons of others more qualified. I am a functioning psycho, are you sure about this?" The girl nodded. "Oh boy, those parenting classes finally are gonna come in handy then. If I can remember them anyway. Fine, your name will be Nagaina. Nagaina Sunstrider, first of your name."

(Congratulations on first child. Increase to Wisdom and Charisma.)

(Title Father Unlocked)

(Child development buildings Availavble.)

(New Recruit options)

(10,000 Miscellaneous resources added.)

"If that doesnt just beat all." Sighing Azul waved his fingers sealing the Nature Pool. It will be awhile before its energies were restored. With his current low level Druids available he did not want any way wish to risk the Emerald Dream taking them. Looking to the others he said "go rest. Spend time with your loved ones the rest of the day and tommorrow will belong to you. The time after is mine." Feeling woozy he held his head.

"Time for you to rest. To much work will kill even the mightiest of mages." Demona said coming over and grabbing him. She eyed the child and gave her a soft smile.

"Disa help Nagaina," Azul said before starting to walk with help.

"Right!" The little goblin squeaked. "Ok let's go." A mechanical arm came out from her back and helped prop the child up. "You are light. Oh" the child was already back asleep. "Well come on then. Get you a bed and a room. Hopefully you can melt your father's heart before he turns into a monster."

Demona had put Azul to bed and was studying himintently. She could not understand where his powers originated. For that matter she couldnt get over how he was able to complete give her a mortal body. With her current magic's she could live for eternity and then some. Even the oldest of demons would be unable to recognize her now. After that rush of power she received while fighting the Mawlocks, her d.e.s.i.r.e for blood was under control even more so. But with the weapon she now said she wanted to obtain a strong martial understanding.

'Tch, I wonder if he will want to spare when he awakens?'

"Sister what is bothering you?" Nocturne asked. She didnt realize it herself, but she was becoming more comf6calling the other woman he sister by the day.

"Nothing, just trying to figure out what "Master" here has planned for the future." Demona sat on the bed and touched Azul's hand. A small inkling ofagic left her and went to him. This caused the paleness in his face to leave. "He is recovering alot faster in the bed. How weird."

"Master,?? I guess so. But we do have more comforts than we did before." Nocturne moved to the other side of the bed. "Studying the ways of the light a little is weird."

"You should brace it. Arcane and th Light combined would make for something extraordinary." Demona smiled. "I really believe you will shine. Besides, if it keeps you away from Fel magic even more so, then that is even better."

"Oh, and why is that?"

"Fel magic is not for everyone. only those with a twisted hard can weild it with succ.u.mbing to its influence." Demona smiled sadly. "For how can the magic change what you already are."

"Mm, that's a thought." Azul said opening his eyes. "Well glad to know you believe me to be twisted. I rather you not think so badly about yourself. Fel magic at its core is just magic. What you have learned is twisted."

"Tch, I am centuries old. I believe I know why I am talking about." Demona sneered.

"And I am older. I was also taught by those who are way older than your old masters. Stick with me and follow what I have before you and I promise you will learn the truth about your magics." Azul grabbed her wrist and sent some images of Athena lecturing him on magic.

"Thats.." Demona eyes went wide as she tried to digest what she just saw and heard.

"Nocturne, are you feeling better?"

"Hmm, well yes I am. Why do you ask?" Nocturne was staring at her sister imagining what she could be experiencing.

"Just checking. Here." reaching over he showed her images of the Bane teachings about warrior priests. Then laying back he was out like a light.
