World Of Warcraft: Altered Time

Chapter 21 - Horde delegate & Alliance

"I will not go to them." Azul said. "They can meet me if they want. I do not have time to deal with politics myself at this time."

"But the Horde welcomes you." The delegate said. For a Taurean there was something crafty about him.

"That is nice. We are welcomed. We are also busy securing our own borders. Like your people should do with the Lich King on the move."

"Those reports are nothing but bl.u.s.ter. The Horde has on good authority he is l.i.c.k.i.n.g his wounds."

"That is nice for them." Azul just waved the man off. "Go and return to your leaders and tell them we decline."

"This does not hold well for the future." The delegate and his entourage left.

"Blah blah blah." Azul mocked him. "Time to ride Nagiana."

"Yes father." The young elf smiled as her bodyguards rose to follow behind. Nocturne was not to far away watching as she moved with them. "See you back home!'

"Stay safe," Azul waved back before turning to Demona. "Are you ok?"

"Yes master." Demona leaned onto Azul for support and to feel better as he fed her energy. "That Tauren is not free. He is a demon and a disgusting one at that. The sooner we kill him, the better."

"I understand what you are saying but it must look like an accident and cannot happen near our people." Azul watched as the fliers in the air circled around. "Come, we must start our push towards Deathholme. A bunch of killing should make you feel better."

"Yes it will." Demona wrapped around his neck and floated as they walked. "I will send for some Outland contacts to make the move. The long approach will work till we have nothing to worry about."

"Good idea." Azul stepped up to the pedestal and activated it. They were transported back to there territory. The pedestal disappear leaving no traces behind. The fliers were already on route back home.

"Woom!" Stepping out of the portal, Azul and Demona were shocked to see the people waiting.

"What is it?" Azul asked.

"Well... the Alliance pulled in the port. Then they came straight here... with supplies." Kalar said. He had a weird smile on his face. "They wish to make an Alliance."

"Uh huh... why so weird by it?"

"A marriage one."

"We do not have any royal like that." Azul shook his head.

"Well the new princ.." His voice was cut off. Not by Azul but by Demona wrapping a demonic tail around his throat. "Ukk."

"So you have really turned stupid?" Demona asked. It was rhetorical, however. "The laws state we do not those. If you have offered her up your self, that I am marrying off to a few Orc Warlock I know." She dropped him to the ground and walked with Azul chuckling.

"Sorry, didn't think you want to pass up the chance." Kalar rubbed his throat. More and more he was learning that the rules were absolute. Not for show, or to make them all feel better. "It will not happen again." His troops just grinned at him. "Hah gonna go tell them no. I wonder if the same thing with the others will happen?"

"I wonder what sort of things the Alliance are up to? These responses have been quite fast with the Horde just sending a delegate." Azul controlled his laughter and kept walking. Demona was stewing and trying to calm herself. Thoughts of how she was offered as a sacrifice popping up in her head. "Azazel approach on the Ghostlands are going well I take it?"

"Umm yes. They are doing a steady advancement." Demona said. Her thought immediately back with him. "His forces have travelled directly down the Dead Scar wiping out as much as they can. Thanks to that, the base you formed there is purifying faster. Thos Flame Elves do good work. Before we go to Deatholme, I suggest we take the Ghostlands completely. We should head to the Sanctum of the Sun. The magic within would be better under our control."

Coming upon a few citizens, Azul stopped. He watches as they work and went about their tasks. Slowly a few names flickering above their heads. It would not be long before they awakened on their accord.

"I agree with your assessment. We will take the Sanctum. Nocturne and Nagiana will do their part as well. I want her trained both in real combat and training." Opening a map of the area, Farstrider Enclave caught his attention. As well as Dawnstar Spire. "They along with a Pegasus detachment can deal with the Dawnstar Spire as well."

"Sounds good. The Orcs?" Demona asked.

"They will need to scout more. I think having them run across the area and making relations with Zul'Aman will work nicely." Seeing her agree, Azul spoke with Ks then sent the message to the others. Everyone agreed and made renewed preparations. Seeing the increase in mana storage he went ahead and created more troops.

They may be level one, but sending them around on patrol in Eversong woods would help. After they did a sweep, they could swap with Militia forces inside. They waited for 30 minutes before they were interrupted.

"Here comes the Alliance officials," Demona said insipidly. "They are in for a rude awakening."

Out of the 20 soldiers, only one was vaguely familiar. The boy Anduin Wrynn. Soft like a peach but a heart a gold. In other words.. useless. Compassion is only nice in times of peace. In a time of war.. they can easily be killed.

"Hello, Lord Azul. Lady Demona." The Paladin said. "This is.."

"Stop stop.." Azul waved his hands. "No of that b.s. right now. He is the Prince Anduin. You are his babysitters and that is about all the things important. I dont have time for false pleasantries. I have things to do."

"Umm, I see." The Paladin said. He was both insulted he couldnt formally introduce the prince and entourage and relieved to not have to the formalities. "I am Soulare of Andorhal. A p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you. Your aide has already told us of your decision. So I will not try to persuade you."

"Good, you are free to stay for about week or so. You know, get your spying and all that shit done. The inn can put you up. You will be charged of course. None of that pardon for delegates nonsense here." Azul said neutrally. Seeing their nodding heads he continued. "Someone will show you around later or you can wander around the city yourself. Do not cause trouble and obey the laws. Everything should be fine then."

"Umm excuse me. May I interject?" Anduin asked. He received a nod and stepped forward. "My father has sent me to hear for several reasons. I for one do not wish to disappoint. It has come to the attention of Stormwind you know a vast array of the old magic. Can you teach me one that can help? I would not do well in the martial way. As you can see from my body frame." The boy chuckled a little.

"Eh go be a priest or study a little Paladin stuff. That should make him happy." Azul shrugged. He did not know much about the boy besides that he didnt like violence.

"If you teach me.. the things that we brought you can keep." Anduin said quickly.

"Wow geez, thanks." Demona smirked. "Here I thought they already belonged to us? You are a sly thing, little human."

"You can study the art of the.. Flame Rogue." Azul said plainly. "You have at least the strength to shoot arrows and such?" The boy nodded. "Good. The discipline of magic and the more flexible approach of a rogue. Soon you will be sniping people and stabbing them from so far away, there heads will spin."

"That sounds horrible." Anduin cried. "Do you have some else less.. gruesome sounding?"

"Hmm, priest. Yup priest it is. With a little touch on the way of the Shaman. You wish to solve things without bloodshed? The Shaman has to understand things on a higher level than most. So take it or leave it."

"I will take it!" Anduin said. He did not want Azul to change his mind. "When do I start?"

"Head to the Libary, you can start with some of the other kids." Azul said. He then left with Demona following behind. They were heading out of the city.

"Haa that went better than expected." Anduin sighed.

"Yes, it did." Soulare added. "I wonder if he would mind us studying as well?"

"Why not?" A Paladin said from the group. "With the funds, the King just sent he shouldn't."

"That may be true Coors. But this elf is very different than others." Soulare said. "We should tread carefully and meet up with our spies as fast as we can."

"Yes, sir." Coors saluted. "Why did you not tell them about the Night Elf delegation arriving?"

"I forgot." Soulare said plainly. Seeing everyones shocked faces, he became embarrassed. "It was not on purpose. Just.. just get to work."

-Azul Demona and their forces-

They made a stop at GoldenMist village. The placed needed to be converted and made into something useful for passing troops. They went to work setting of shop. However, they met with some trouble. The former inhabitants.

"Leave this place!" A ghost elf yelled. "The undead are coming!"

"She is trapped in a loop.. how sad." Demona looked at the woman with pity. Outstretching her hand, she was about to end its existence when she was stopped. "What is it?"

Azul didnt speak as he stepped forward. He switched from a Rogue to a Priest. With his face revealed and the insignia on his clothing, the ghost elf kneeled. Slowly the other ghost came around. Leaving the bound areas they had been stuck at.

"Do you wish to rest or serve?" Azul asked soothingly. A strange magic laced in his words. Bane spoke to him softly as he proceeded. "If you serve, you fight and protect as I command. If you rest.. your soul will be judged."

"I will serve.." The ghost elf before him said.

"I will rest.."

"I wish to rest.."

"I will serve.."

"I will rest.."

Slowly they answered. For thse who wished for rest, a light enveloped them. It switched from blue to red. The blue they were enveloped by the hand of Athena. The red.. Bane pulled them down below.

"Wooom, woom." A statue appeared of bane in the middle of the village. Sitting upon it was a woman dressed in red. Wings behind her back. Slowly blood gathered from the ground and dressed the statue. A name appeared, Keres. Keres were cravers of blood and feasted on souls. Souls of the fallen were devoured by the creatures on battlefield or in just plain death.

"Woom, woom." The bodies of those who agreed to serve came back. Memories intact but overridden by the purpose of Bane. K.s. was infused with the knowledge immediately, that knowledge then spread to he inhabitants and the purpose of the creatures to the citizens.

"Ughh thank you, my Lord. I am Niaola." The former ghost elf bowed. "I ask to serve well. And to be able to send word to my sister."

"Haa." Azul sighed at the drop in mana. But that was dismissed immediately at the knowledge of the creatures. They would make good opponents to the Lich King's Valkria or whatever they were called he thought. "That is fine. We will finish restoring this town and spread to calm the surrounding waters. After every gets their affairs in order, they will start building a small port and fighting around its waters." She nodded and left.

"I will get started on making the forward base. Try to rest some. You did a lot of fighting up to here. Leave the rest to us." Demona said. She turned to the others and gave them their tasks. As for Azul, he started walking around the place. Their was a set of Voidwalker's he needed to feast on.
