World's Mystery

"so you are the famous redhead" the purple haired girl said.

"and you are" i asked.

she seemed a little taken back like i was supposed to know her or something.

"mia gray" she said.

"alex...just alex" i replied reaching out my hand for a handshake.

slapping my hand off "ya right" she snapped and went back to her group of friend.

"nice to meet you too" i mumbled under my breath.

a few minutes later the teacher finally entered.

he had gray hair, not natural gray hair but colored(weird taste). he wore a glasses, although it looked like he was only wearing it for style.

i could hear my classmates whisper among themselves "omg! prof stine is our year teacher" "how lucky are we" "isn't he the best teacher ever"

while i heard all the whispers all i could think was 'i am not going to like him, am i'

and soon the thing i hated the most began. introductions. if i haven't made it obvious, i hate introductions, people will judge you for every word you use.

it was the purple- i mean mia's turn to introduce herself.

"my name is mia gray, i got the top third score in the entrance exam"

"that's zoe's sister'a girl whispered to the boy beside her. "you mean the middleschool student council president!" the boy whispered back.

'interesting' i thought.

"I will work hard so that i would be selected as a USD member." she said.

"what is the meaning of USD?" i asked raising my hand. as soon as i did i could hear a lot of gasps and murmurers like "are you serious!" "how does she not know about this" "can you believe her"

prof stine requested silence and then explained that USD stood for

U - undercover

S - student

D - disciplinary committee

"not really undercover if everyone knows who it's members are"i said feeling like i was in a class filled with idiots.

"i guess you are correct" he said slightly chuckling. "now would you might introducing yourself to the class"

"i do actually" is what i wanted to say but i still ended up walking to the front of the class.

"my name is alex"

"and..."prof stine said.

"that is all" i said maintaining my expressionless face.
