Wrong Girl

Chapter 2 - Episode 2-Murder Accident

~5 years later~

Two little children are playing in a living room. Clearly they were twins. The boy sat in the middle of the room playing with some toys. He looked like he was having fun. The girl on the other hand stood by the window staring outside. She watched as other children much older than her play some games in the road. She studied them.

"Marcus! What are you doing?" A woman with blonde hair pulled up in a pony tail said to the young boy. She sat next to him and pulled a toy out of his mouth. "We do not chew on toys" she laughed and kissed him on his forehead. He smiled and nodded.

"Mama why can't we go out and play with the other children?" The girl said not looking away from the window.

The woman stood and walked to the little girl. "Scarlett you know why. You are too young. They are much older than you. You'll get hurt if you go out" the woman rubbed the girls hair.

Scarlett didn't respond but kept staring outside.

The woman looked outside and back at her daughter. She sighed. "Come on. Let's go eat. Dinner is ready" the woman said as she walked into the kitchen.

The boy stood. "Come on sissy. Mama wants us" he walked and went in after his mother.

Scarlett stared at the children. Suddenly one of the other kids pushed one boy down. It was a much older girl. She laughed at the boy. He fell into some dog poop. It was on his back. The girl laughed and the other kids joined in. Scarlett clutch her fist. She stared at the girl. She was mad. Why was she so mean. The girl stopped laughing and stood there looking forward. Her face blank. She than walked in front of a car coming down the street coming at full speed. As soon as the car hit the girl she went flying. Scarlett stood in shock.

She looked at her hands. They were glowing a little. She saw her reflection in the window. Her teeth were sharp and her eyes glowed red. She shook her head and looked back into the window. She saw her reflection again. This time she was normal. 'What happened?' She thought. She turned around. She didn't know if she caused that or not. 'Her mind was playing her' She said to herself. She walked to the kitchen.

~7 years later~

A dull classroom. Children were listening to the teacher. Some kids were whispering to each other.

The bell rung and children started to get up. The two girls that were whispering walked up to Scarlett.

"What a weirdo" one girl said making the other laugh.

"I know right. So creepy. She's nothing like her brother. He is dreamy and normal. While she's just weird" the other said. They laughed. One of them pulled Scarletts hair.

"Hey freak we are talking! Aren't you listening?"

Scarlett smacked the girls hand away and started to pack up.

The girls rolled their eyes. "Freak!" The girls walked away leaving Scarlett alone.

The teacher sat at his desk. Not caring what just happened. He grabbed a book and started to read.

Scarlett bit her lip. Her eyes started to tear up. She shook her head. 'No! No crying!' She gets up from her desk. She stares at the teacher. 'How dare he not care! I'm a child!' Tears run down her face. She walks out the classroom.

As she walks down the hall all the children watch her while whispering and laughing. She holds her books close to her c.h.e.s.t. She stares at the ground. Trying to ignore them. All their stares.

"Did you hear! Marcus is dating Chelsea. So unfair!" The girl stomps.

It was true. Her brother was dating a girl named Chelsea. He got everything he wanted. He was popular. Every girl wanted to be with him and every guy wanted to either be his friend or wanted him dead.

Scarlett shut her locker. But as she did the girl spoke again.

"But I guess that wont last long. Because some new boy is coming to town. I heard he is rich. Like super. And soo hot!" Both girls jump up and down.

'A new boy huh?' Scarlett thought. Maybe now I could have a friend. Someone that doesn't know who I am already. She smiles.

"What are you smiling at freak?" The girl says c.o.c.ky.

Scarlett ignored her. She didn't care. By tomorrow she would have a new friend. That's all she wanted. Was a friend. Someone to talk to other than her voices in her head.

She walked down the hall feeling proud. She now can be normal. No one would call her a freak. She now could have a normal life. No more freak. No more being alone. No more voices!
