WTF I Am In The Marvel Universe!

Ray was speechless when Freya said that.

Ray almost did not notice the Kursed (dark elf changing into monster) rampaging through Asgard heading towards Freya and himself. This was just like in Thor the Dark World movie. Ray knew that Freya was supposed to be killed by the Kursed. But now the problem is after killing off Freya, the Kursed might come after him. The Kursed had already killed off the two royal Asgardian guards guarding Ray and Freya.

"Garrotte sharp...", Ray whispered in a girlish voice.

The head of the Kursed fell off, he was dead. Everyone in Ray's room were surprised.

"What ? Thank you.", Freya said as she looked at Ray. Freya noticed the magic Ray used to kill off the Kursed.

"Oh ! It was nothing really. I should thank you for taking care of me in Asgard.", Ray said in a girlish voice.

"Oh ! That is not necessary. You are our guest. If you are well enough, my husband Odin would like to see you in the throne room.", Freya said with a sweet smile.

(Ray's point of view)

There it is again, the sweet smile a used car salesmen will give you when they are about to con you into buying a clunker. Oh God ! What is she up to ? I will try to read her mind. Oh ! She is resisting. She is sweating. I can't read her mind without killing her, Freya has tied her soul and life to protecting her mind. Damn it ! I hate Asgardian magic.

"Are you alright ?", Ray asked in a girlish voice.

"Oh ! No I just felt faint for a moment.", Freya smiled sweetly at Ray.

(Ray's point of view)

Freya knew I tried to read her mind. Why did she not get angry ? What is wrong ? What sort of clunker does she intend to sell me ? Oh God ! I feel like I am about to lose a lot of money !

Ray was led to Freya to the throne room where he saw Odin standing there while talking to Thor. Upon seeing Ray, Odin smiled and walked over to Ray to give him a friendly hug.

(Ray's point of view)

Oh God ! This is worse than I thought instead of one used car salesman I have to deal with two used car salesmen. Odin is giving me the same look Freya gave me, the used car salesman look. Gah ! I can't read Odin's mind as well, he tied his soul and life into protecting his mind as well. I hate Asgardian magic ! Oh God damn it ! What are they thinking ? I hate their false used car salesman smile they are giving me. Why is Odin hugging me ?

"Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Welcome guest !", Odin said happily as he hugged Ray.

"Ray you had better kneel down to the All Father of Asgard. It's custom after all.", Thor said seriously as he came over.

"Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Just ignore what my son said. Guests of Asgard do not need to kneel.", Odin said with a happy smile.

"But father all guests to Asgard needs to kneel to you.", Thor insisted.

"Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Just ignore him.", Odin said happily with a smile as he tried to lead Ray away from Thor.

(Ray's point of view)

Oh ! The dimwitted Thor does not have the used car salesman look. Hmmm... I might get something out of Odin and Freya if I stay close to Thor. Yes ! Thor will be a way to find out what these two used car salesman are up to.

"Thor. Are you sure I have to kneel to Odin ?", Ray asked in a girlish voice with a smirk.

"Yes. It's the custom of Asgard.", Thor said happily.

Pow !!!

Odin slapped Thor so hard that he fell down on the floor.

"Father... why ?", Thor who recovered from being slapped so hard asked in confusion.

"As I have said before guests do not need to kneel down before me. Do you understand Thor ?", Odin said angrily to Thor.

"Yes... father.", Thor said sadly on the ground.

Ray was shocked as he looked at the angry Odin.

"Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Let's not stay here in this stuffy throne room. Come Ray, let's talk in the garden.", Freya said sweetly as if her husband had not hit her son at all.

Freya held Ray's shoulder gently and lead him to the gardens. While Odin followed suit. Ray wondered what type of clunker will Odin and Freya push to him, after all both of them have the used car salesman look Ray always got whenever he entered a used car showroom to buy a car.

In Asgard's gardens, Ray sat down while Freya sat to the left of Ray while Odin sat to the right of Ray with a round table around them.

"Ah ! Ray I have to thank you for saving my wife's life. I have heard you used some type of magic to kill off the Kursed.", Odin said sweetly to Ray while he smiled.

(Ray's point of view)

Oh God ! Don't smile Odin ! Don't smile ! You are creeping me out. What does Odin and Freya want ? That's all they want ???

"We of Asgard will of course compensate you for this heroic act. Ahem. Now for all our guests in Asgard they will give their blessings to Asgard in a ceremony... will you Ray do us the honour of giving us your blessings ?", Odin said sweetly as he smiled an artificial smile again.

"Yes... all guest of Asgard will usually have a blessing ceremony where they give us their blessings.", Freya added as she smiled the same artificial smile that Odin gave.

"...", Ray was speechless. Was that all they really wanted, Ray's blessings. That's all.
