Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband

The two felt their entire body shivering under his gaze. The previous day this young guy didn't talk much but was still scary only by face and today he was talking coldy along with that cold poker face.

"W-What do you mean?"

Lu Lijun sighed as if those two were so dumb and he didn't wish to spare even a word more on them.

Noah, who was standing next to Lu Lijun, said, "My friend, let me explain to them what will happen to them now or their souls will curse us for keeping it a surprise to them."

Lu Lijun did not stop him and Noah smirked at those two as he said, "One should do everything to fulfil their promises. As long as you two are alive, there are chances of you two coming across her by chance again and again. Better to get rid of that reason which can make you break your promise."

"If you show up in front of her you will get a cruel death anyways for breaking your promise so better to prevent it from happening," Jake added. 

Those two looked at these three in disbelief. 

'Are they toying with us?' was what the two could think.

"W-What do you plan to do? Do you want to kill us?"

"Do you think you can get out of it after you kill us?"

"We are not just ordinary people who you can kill and discard and it is not China where everything can be in your control."

Jake, who heard it, stepped ahead, "But here everything can be in my control. I am sure you have heard about Mountabattens."

Who didn't know about them as Jake's father was one royal who married the princess from another royal family and was also a famous businessman who everyone knew about? 

Hearing it, the sweat appeared on both of their foreheads. 

Noah stepped away and threw a file at them which one of them caught. "In that file, you will see what will happen to both of you. Later we don't wish you to blame us for not telling you beforehand."

Those two opened the file and checked what was in it. It had a picture of a kid who was badly injured. Her entire body was covered in bruises and the scans of how her ribs were fractured and even her one hand. It was a detailed inspection report by the doctor and the police. 

The two recognized who this kid was. She was the one who they had hurt in the past. Even from the pictures, one could see how painful everything must be which made those two shiver in fright. 

"We have apologized to her. We are ready to do anything but….."

"But, we follow the rule here that we never break," Noah interrupted him. 

"R-Rule?" the two asked. 

"Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. You will get nothing less and nothing more than what you have given. That much you can trust us with," Noah replied.

"Please don't?" the two begged. 

"She must have begged you as well?" Lu Lijun asked. 

The two gulped and nodded.

"Did you listen to her?" Lu Lijun asked indifferently as if that begging would not affect him even a bit. 

The two didn't dare answer, only to hear that cold young man again, "Did you?"

The two shook their heads, "We…We had lost our minds at that time... We were young and didn't…"

"And now I have lost my mind," Lu Lijun interrupted them, not willing to hear the excuses.

Lu Lijun walked toward them as if he would kill the two right away. As the two were cornered by him, they tried to hit Lu Lijun first thinking they might have a chance to escape but Lu Lijun held one's hand while he kicked the other one in the chest. 

The hand he held twisted it badly that made a light sound of bone breaking. 

Crack!

Ahh…!

There was a loud whining voice after the hand was hurt and Lu Lijun swiftly kicked him at the aimed places where Jiang Yuyan was hurt. In a while that one man fell on the ground not even able to make a sound out of his throat and tried to breathe somehow as he looked as good as dead. It was too much pain. 

"Ahh..That looks painful..." Noah commented as he was the one to feel that pain. 

"Don't look then," Jake said. 

Noah glared at him, "Stop trying to protect me like I am a delicate girl."

"I never thought of you like a delicate one but someone equally stronger like me. I love stronger things," Jake commented as he smirked.

Noah felt like punching him but they were disturbed by the whining of another man who was Lu Lijun's next target.

Lu Lijun did the same with the other one and both were lying on the ground in the worst ever pain they could feel.

Lu Lijun was gravely angry as he looked at the two and asked in his angry voice. "Now did you two understand what kind of pain she felt at that moment? How brutally you have hurt her? And you assholes dared go in front of her and threaten her again."

Jake went to Lu Lijun, and put his hand on his shoulder to calm him down. They knew nothing could make up for what he was feeling at the moment but they had to be by his side. 

Noah looked at Jake's men in the room, "Take these two to hospital and arrange them to be treated and later send them back to their homes."

The two were being taken away but one of them looked at Lu Lijun and said, "It's because of her only that her husband died. You will soon be the same. Just wait."

Lu Lijun simply looked at them as he didn't wish to argue with these useless men. Moreover, he had so much going on in his mind.

Jake instructed his men, "Make sure the doctor treats them without anaesthesia but don't let them die."

Hearing it the two felt their bodies turn numb suddenly as they couldn't imagine what worse it can be than this pain they were already feeling.
