Chapter 1486 Looks Fresh And Yummy

Jiang Yuyan walked inside as she chuckled at what Lu Lijun said, "Hmm, that's true as well. It feels good to be able to provide a better life to younger ones."

"It's now the younger ones' time to provide a good life to older ones," Lu Lijun countered.

She turned and faced him, "Will you?"

"Any doubt?" he asked as he walked closer to her.

"Not at all," she smiled and he patted her head with love. "Everything I do, it's for you and will always for you only. You are the reason for my existence, Yuyan."

"Sweet talker," she smiled and asked, What are we going to do today?"

He offered her a meaningful gaze, "Guess?"

Cough! She cleared her throat as a light blush covered her face, "I....think I am hungry again after traveling," and stepped away from him.

Till now she was being bold knowing they would be busy with the sea adventures but now they had a lot of free time as they were back to the resort.

Her blushing face didn't go unnoticed by him and he smiled, "Let me order something for you to eat. What would you like?"

"Anything light," she replied and thought to lay in bed but she looked at Lu Lijun who was busy ordering food for her and dropped the plan. She was sure he would join her in bed the next moment.

'I am not ready for it properly. I need to have a bath again and then prepare nicely. Will take a little time. Can't just go with it just like this. First time with him is important...Hmm! What should I wear?" She walked towards the wardrobe and looked at the lingerie sets as she picked up one, 'this one should be fine...umm...a dress..which one?' She skimmed through the dresses that were hung inside and her gaze fell on the one which she bought recently after Lu Lijun saw her wearing it in the brand showroom. He especially insisted on her to buy it. 'Nono, this is too revealing. If I wear it now, he will think I am dying to get under him...cough!... Well that's true but I can't show it to him. I need to keep my dignity.'

While making a call, Lu Lijun glanced at Jiang Yuyan and simply continued to talk on the call.

Contemplating over the dress, Jiang Yuyan picked up a simple white dress, 'This should be fine for now. Simple and elegant. Will look good on me and he won't think I am preparing to get into bed with him...cough!" Her face turned red, "...It's good that he can't hear my thoughts or he would think of me as a desperate woman. I should not look at him when I think about all this or he will catch me like always..." she pulled out the clothes and inhaled deeply, '...keep calm..no perverted thoughts...even if he is so handsome, no need to drool over him...keep calm...If he is handsome then I am the prettiest,' she remembered about all kinds of gods and prayed to them that would help her keep her mind calm.

Lu Lijun had finished ordering food for her and informed, "I have ordered something for you. It will be here soon."

She nodded, "I will take a bath. Not feeling good after traveling from the port to the resort. And the air near the sea felt salty and sticky."

He nodded, "Go ahead."

When Jiang Yuyan went inside the bathroom, Lu Lijun took out his mobile from his pocket and checked the messages he had received but didn't read them in front of Jiang Yuyan. The expressions on his face were serious as he dialed Noah's number.

"How's the situation there?" Lu Lijun asked.

"Sorry to disturb you when you are on vacation, Lijun, but it was something you should know," Noah said from the other side of the line.

"It's alright. Just don't let Yuyan know it. Tell Xiao Min to not message her or talk to her about anything."

"Yes. That's why till now he hasn't contacted her."

"I will do things from here and you and Xiao Min need to take care of the rest."

"Yes, we will do that. Today we had a meeting with your father, I mean Mr Chairman. In his presence things got better. Don't worry much about it."

"Father is there so nothing to worry about," Lu Lijun said as he knew his father was way more smarter though he had left the things on younger ones to decide.

"True. He even asked me and Mr. Xiao Min not to inform you, but I had to as you would be mad at me for not letting you know. After all it concerns those people who you have been waiting for."

"You did well," Lu Lijun commented, "Make sure to send me important information. I will work whenever I get time and send you instructions on what to do."

"Got it!"

Lu Lijun hung up the call and heard the sound of water flowing from the shower. 'She is taking shower. Till then I can do some work.'

Lu Lijun went to the work table in the room where he had put the laptop and finally there was a time to use it though he wished he could keep office work away for a few days. But it was an emergency and he needed to handle it and that too without letting Jiang Yuyan know about it.

He opened the laptop and checked the email sent by Noah.

'Those bastards are finally showing up. Good that they are coming to their graves on their own.'

Lu Lijun started to work and from the sounds coming from the bathroom, he could guess when Jiang Yuyan would come out and before that he would finish the work.

He read all the important information and continued his work as he passed instructions to Noah. After a while, Jiang Yuyan came out of the bathroom and by then he had already shut the laptop and was sitting leisurely in the chair, his expressions totally different from serious ones to normal ones.

When he saw her, he smiled and observed her who was in a bathrobe.  He smiled at her playfully, looking his usual romantic self.

"You look so fresh and yummy....."
