"Recognize Wonder Woman 03, Alexander A21, Kara A22."

When we came through we were greeted with the surprising sight of KidFlash sprawled into the ground sporting a red handprint on his face along with nine people in the room.

The group notice our arrivel and Aqualad greeted us first. "Kara, Alexander Welcome and Wonder Woman as well." He greeted next was Robin who added "sorry for the sight, Wally was a bit of...rude? on Artemis here."

Kara couldn't help but chuckle at the poor boy's situation and said "Oh, it's alright", I then turned to look at the other people in the room and notice three people who I haven't met from yesterday's event.

One sported a ponytailed blond hair, green suit and has a bow and arrow for a weapon which I promptly greeted, the next one was a redhead who wore attire with red X on it and she's green lastly, the next one made me stop she wore attire with a close resemblance with Superman's suit, she was attractive sporting a blond hair and blue eyes.

'Artemis...Miss Martian and last but not the least....is Supergirl' I thought as I then look at her and then at the Kara by my side who was also looking at her counterpart. I couldn't help but sigh at the waiting tragedy even Superman on the side look quite nervous 'sigh...I hope no complication comes out of this' thankfully enough my worries were all for not because the original's face was happy? to see the clone.

The Original Kara then jumps and hug the clone and proclaimed "We really do look similar!". The Cloned Kara look at her in confusion then at me as I shrugged.

The Clone Kara then look at the original and ask "Uhm...You're not mad? I mean don't you feel violated because they made a clone of you?".

The original Kara replied "No I'm not and to tell you the truth I don't really blame you at all you were just literally born like a few months ago, also back at my home planet most of us are born from labs and only Kal there was born naturally Oh... but don't get me wrong I'm pretty mad, mad at Cadmus and if the team hadn't destroyed that place, I would go there right now and raze it to the ground myself."

The Cloned still looks conflicted and said "Are you really sure you don't have a problem with me?"

"No, I do not as I said I have always wanted a sister and now not only do I have a new sister but a new cousin as well!" The Orginal Kara cheerfully replied, which made the earlier frowning Superboy at the side smile and the Cloned Kara relieve "Though I do have a problem with the name, you see it'll get a bit of confusing from now on if the two of us are called Kara so..." she added while also drawl near the end of the sentence.

The clone Kara just nodded in acceptance and said "It's alright, I understand....but what to name..." The two brainstormed for a bit and I couldn't help but silently mutter the name "Karen Starr".

I was surprised when the two of them turned to me with wide eyes and nodded 'Damn it! I forgot they have superhearing'. "That's it! Karen! from now own call me Karen, Karen Starr" Karen said as she and Kara gave me a smile of appreciation.

The rest of the group smiled at the two of them but I couldn't help but notice Superboy frowning at Superman's figure.

"Now that everyone's acquainted, Alexander and Kara-"Karen" Karen will be joining the team today as well as Artemis and also..." Batman was cut off by the Zeta Transporting someone in.

"Recognize Batgirl B08"

'What the f.u.c.k! Batgirl?! I thought she was crippled after the killing joke? and now that I thought of it did something really happen between the two of them? No shit, that's not right something different must have happened maybe...maybe the killing joke is not canon here?' conflicted thoughts cluttered my mind seeing the 17 years old Batgirl, not on a wheelchair.

Suddenly calmness wash over me and my conflicted thoughts disappear and a stream of information entered my mind. 'Ahh...so that's what happened, Barbara got shot by Joker, Joker killed Jason Todd but no s*x bullshit that the authors thought as the "human reaction in violence or whatever" and Diana actually help cure Batgirl. 'phew, thank god the S*x scene didn't happen because if it did I wouldn't be able to look at Batman the same again.'

Karen elbowed me in the ribs and said "Alex, she's talking to you" When Karen said that I notice, I have been staring at Batgirl.

"Uh-Sorry I was kind of distracted with your hair They're really beautiful" I hastily said as I scratch the back of my head in embarrassment.

"Pretty smooth there Alex and don't look now a lioness is jealous behind you" KidFlash quip but then Robin smack the back of his head that made KidFlash complained "Dude! what did I do? Is this beat up KidFlash day?".

Karen glared at me, while both Batgirl and Kara look amuse heck even Wonder Woman raise her eyebrows at me.

'f.u.c.k I step on a land mine' I thought and I then hastily formulate a response to at least mitigate the situation and a stream of information then flowed in my head "Though I do prefer blonde because they make girls look more cheerful and pleasing to eye still your hair is pretty to look at and oh...You were saying again?" Batgirl smirk realizing what I was doing then suddenly I found Karen grabbing the hem of my shirt as she looks down with red tinge on her cheek and Kara ...as well...eh?. 'that's my boy, You make momma proud!' voices in my head again I really need to look into it at my nearest convenience

"quite a charmer, I'm Batgirl and I will be joining the team today so if you need any help in tech, sparring or...something else "smirk" just come to me and I'll be glad to help." Batgirl flirted as Karen pinch my side and f.u.c.k it hurts! Kara chuckled a little but was also showing interest now what interest? I don't know, girls are difficult that way.

Robin quietly whispered to Wally "Now that's how you make a move on a girl, just a few sentences and he got all three of them" but it seems like not quite enough as the group made varying degrees of expression with Wally's eyes sparkled as if he found his new patron saint, Superman glaring at me, Wonder Woman smiling and the rest of the group either grinning or smiling then lastly there's Batman being Batman.

"Now that everyone is here well accounted for, let me just tell that the League has been in a stretch lately and so we formed this group, we will send you in a mission- KidFlash cut Superman off and cheerfully said "Mission" Batman continued "Covert, Cadmus showed that our enemy is getting smarter and smarter each day so we decided we needed a team that can operate in the low and you are that team, Red Tornado volunteered to be your charge and Black Canary will be in charge of your physical and mental health as well as your combat instructor, so don't disappoint us we are counting on you"

Batman and Superman then walk off to the other room.

Aqualad with a smile on his face then proudly proclaim "This is the day"

"Here are both of your papers and sorry for not getting your opinion on your last name Alex," Diana said while she passes the papers to us.

We are currently in the next room where Batman and Superman interviewed/interrogate us to ascertain our mental attitude.

"Alexander Maximus, The Greatest defender of man....huh, that's an interesting choice," I said as the people around me including Karen, Kara, and Batgirl for some reason nodded. 'wait! since when did they get here?'

"Okay now that's done let's talk about the design you submitted." Batman said. I have made up my mind that since I'm joining this merry band of theirs then might as well I do it with style. "It will be delivered next week, two days before your first mission though I have to ask why the name?" asked Batman.

'Ah...yeah of course Batman's going to question that with the name sounding like a mercenary in all, I name myself after one of the deadliest combatants in the Marvel universe, Taskmaster'

I shrug and replied "There's nothing really to it, I just thought that it sounded good." 'and if I'm right about my powers being similar to Shazam then Taskmaster is a right fit for me.'

He nodded then walk to Diana as I then headed towards the waiting girls. "so...wanna explore the base?" I ask and I was greeted by eager nods from the three.

I then ask permission from Batman then after he agreed we then explored the Base.
