Young Justice's Arrancar Gamer

Ulquiorra jolts up out of the bed frantically looking around, recognizing Mount Justice's medical bay. Ulquiorra jumps out of the bed grabbing his clothes and taking off all the medical equipment that was monitoring him. Then he feels something drop off his neck, looking down Ulquiorra recognizes it as Starotech shocking him as he realizes he has been out for months. He also figures out that the team is on the run because he doesn't have the anti-tech most likely because it hasn't been build yet. Ulquiorra hears footsteps approaching, he stands and walks toward the door. Right before he grabs the handle, Captain Atom opens the door.

" Hey Captain Atom, where's the team?"

" Roy Harper was the mole and has somehow manipulated the team into helping him, I was requested to make sure you were safe."

" That's all I needed to know, goodbye Captain, tell the team I tell them Goodbye as well."

Atom goes to attack Ulquiorra, sadly for him with all maxed stats even Superman couldn't keep up with Ulquiorra much less a subpar superpowered individual. Ulquiorra rains blows on Captain Atom completely out pacing the weakened and controlled man, knocking the man out.

5 years later...

*Ring* *Ring* *Click*

" Hello Ra's, what do you need?"

" Aizen, the light would like you to join Black Manta and his son during their upcoming missions."

" Hmm, don't trust the boy?"

" He was a member of the Justice League just a few months ago, of course our trust is measured."

" Are you asking me as a favor Ra's or did the council vote without me?"

" Don't take offense, if you don't want to do something no one alive can force you not even us."

" Next time, invite me but of course I'll do it. I haven't had good fun in months all I've done is secure some ȧssets and have my men kill some weaklings. I haven't even had to take my glasses off in almost a year, I'm too good at laying low and off the league's radar something even your organization can't do."

" Bask in your own glory some other time. I'm sending you the meet location now, expect them in 2 hours. We usually do invite you, you usually ignore it."

" Boys! Finish up here and report back to the Vice-Captain when you all are done."

Gun fire continues to rain in the back ground as Aizen vanishes from the battlefield, covering the distance of the entire North and South Americas and arriving at the rendezvous point with in 10 minutes. Black Manta and his people arrive in less than 20 minutes after Aizen.

" I see you took my warning seriously Manta."

" Aizen, it is good to see you again it's been a while. Even with such time passed I think you would remember that I don't respond well to threats."

" Well then it is good that, that wasn't a threat then isn't it? However I also remember that you do work better under a deadline and look at that I remembered correctly, you're here earlier than anticipated because of it."

" Always the planner as usual."

" Hehehe it really is good to see you again Manta, you get me so well. I hear your son has switched sides, you wanna introduce us?"

Manta swings his arm around Aizen like they are old friends as he walks them both inside and the sub goes back under the sea's surface.

Manta and Aizen remember a few of their missions together as Manta leads Aizen to Kaldur's room.

" Hahahahaha that poor guard's face.

Here we are Aizen."

*Knock* *Knock*

" Come in!"

" Kaldur'ahm I would like you to meet an ȧssociate of mine, during your league days you would know him as The Head Captain, but among us friends he goes by Aizen."

" Hello Aizen, any friend of my father's is a friend of mine."

" Hehehe I like you kid but that way of thinking is gonna put you in danger someday. Manta I can see the resemblance, he got your looks. Who is the mother?"

" Ah, I see my apologies then Kaldur'ahm, Manta I did not mean to bring up bad memories."

" It's fine. Come I have more to show you."

" Goodbye Kaldur'ahm I hope to see more of you soon, yes let's go."

" Goodbye Father, Aizen."

Walking into Manta office about an hour later, Manta shuts the door and gets down to business.

" So the light doesn't trust my son."

" Of course not, he is new and an ex leaguer. We are friends Manta so let me be honest you're quite lucky they send an impartial neutral party like me, making sure that not only is his loyalty approved by you but also a pillar of the light, me. As well as ensuring your promotion by my reccomendation. Had they sent someone else you would be under far more suspicion I was the best option for you and for the light."

" Hmm, alright. I already have missions lined up for him to prove himself, if you must then you have my permission to go with him."

" Hehehe I thank you for that, now I believe that I still owe you a drink from our last mission together."

" Luckily for you I brought your favorite!!"

Aizen says as he pulls a bottle and two glasses out of his robes. A smile blossoms on Manta's face as he grabs Aizen a chair.
